I have question for Youtube api for vendor
Does youtube provide API to vendor such as DSP, Networks so that they can buy youtube inventory through API or RTB?
Demand Side Platform is not mentioned in Youtube API, only in Ad Exchange for buyers overview.
Google will no longer support the small amount of Youtube buying
To continue improving the YouTube advertising experience for as many
of our clients as possible, we’ll be focusing our future development
efforts on the formats and channels used by most of our partners. To
enable that, as of the end of the year, we’ll no longer support the
small amount of YouTube buying happening on the DoubleClick Ad
Exchange.

I'm building an Android app which embeds YouTube videos. I'm confused on how the billing works for the YouTube Data API v3. Is it dependent on whether the APIs are called from GCP server or AWS server?
The YouTube Data API, is a free API Google does not charge you for accessing this API. You are free to use it. Therefore no billing account is needed in order to access this API.
You do have a quota which limits the number of request that you can make to the API over a period of time.

I am aware of the partnership program in order to gain access to the YouTube Content ID API, but I'm not interested in monetization. I'd like to work with the API to develop a web tool. Is there any way to do this? I'm having a hard time trying to contact YouTube about it. Any help would be appreciated.
You can contact them through here.
The YouTube Content ID API is intended for use by YouTube content
partners and is not accessible to all developers or to all YouTube
users. If you do not see the YouTube Content ID API as one of the
services listed in the Google Developers Console, see
www.youtube.com/partner to learn more about the YouTube Partner
Program.
I’ve been doing some research on the YouTube Content ID api and researching about making claims, there is a “manual claim” property, but it’s noted as restricted with semi-minimal information about it.
params.isManualClaim - restricted

My question is, what does restricted actually mean? Is it restricted to only partners that have access to perform manual claims, or is it restricted to everyone and only available to internal YouTube processes?
Anyone have any ideas?
Thank you!
Here is the reason from the documentation.
Note: The YouTube Content ID API is intended for use by YouTube
content partners and is not accessible to all developers or to all
YouTube users. If you do not see the YouTube Content ID API as one of
the services listed in the Google Developers Console, see
www.youtube.com/partner to learn more about the YouTube Partner
Program.
The YouTube Content ID API lets developers build applications that
interact directly with YouTube's rights management system. The system,
which has an online interface at www.youtube.com/content_id ,
enables content owners and administrators to provide YouTube with
metadata, ownership information, and policy information for their
assets.
As a YouTube partner, you can use the API to create new assets and
manage existing assets. You can also retrieve information about your
Content Manager account, including a list of saved policies that you
can apply to your claimed content.
In addition, by combining the YouTube Content ID API with the YouTube
Data API and YouTube Player APIs, you can enable your application to
also upload, manage, and play YouTube videos.

This is a formal request to KEEP Share Video in V2 of the API until the release of similar functionality in V3.
I run a business that relies on this functionality and my customers rely on being able to share videos directly to their fans through YouTube. And my company and it's employees rely on this revenue for their livelihood.
The deprecation terms clearly state ONE YEAR notice and you are giving us FIVE DAYS??

PLEASE leave this functionality in until it is included in V3. That is all we are asking.
Thank you YouTube development team.
Sincerely,
Brian Wilson
I've looked over the Youtube API guidelines and wanted to ask if we qualify for commercial use. We're a travel start-up that wants to enable users to upload videos of themselves on our website about the trips they want to take and to potentially get funding for their trip (Kickstarter for travelers). Below I've added a portion from the guideline, any insight would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
