I am trying to execute CLI commands using NETONF RPC in IOS XE 16.04.01. I got the schema for the NETCONF RPC from the device CLI "show netconf schema". Below is the schema specific to edit-config,
<edit-config> [0, 1] required
<target> 1 required
<candidate> [0, 1] required
<running> [0, 1] required
<startup> [0, 1] required
<url> [0, 1] required
<default-operation> [0, 1] required
<test-option> [0, 1] required
<error-option> [0, 1] required
<config> 1 required
<cli-config-data> [0, 1] required
<cmd> 1+ required
<cli-config-data-block> [0, 1] required
is seen in the schema. I tried to execute the below RPC but it throws error as cli-config-data. How to execute CLI commands using NETCONF for IOS XE?
RPC request
<rpc message-id="2323" xmlns="urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:netconf:base:1.0">
<edit-config>
<target>
<running/>
</target>
<config>
<cli-config-data>
<cmd>hostname CSR1000V</cmd>
</cli-config-data>
</config>
</edit-config>
</rpc>
RPC reply
<rpc-reply xmlns="urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:netconf:base:1.0" message-id="2323">
<rpc-error>
<error-type>protocol</error-type>
<error-tag>unknown-element</error-tag>
<error-severity>error</error-severity>
<error-path>
/rpc/edit-config/config
</error-path>
<error-info>
<bad-element>cli-config-data</bad-element>
</error-info>
</rpc-error>
</rpc-reply>
In IOS-XE you have the option to enable netconf ssh or netconf-yang in the configuration - I made the mistake of enabling netconf-yang and then tried to use cli-config-data-block as I assumed it was valid as I saw it in show netconf schema.
If you enable netconf-yang then it expects a valid YANG model, but netconf ssh enables legacy NETCONF support which uses the schema as output by show netconf schema. Once you enable netconf ssh then the following can be sent to the device to update the configuration:
<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
<rpc xmlns:nc="urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:netconf:base:1.0" message-id="100">
<edit-config>
<target>
<running/>
</target>
<config>
<cli-config-data-block>
hostname test
</cli-config-data-block>
</config>
</edit-config>
</rpc>
I just now need to work out how to send multiline strings as the following doesn't work and there isn't a valid YANG model for this under IOS-XE:
menu test title $
this is a title

Everything is OK, and the app is builded correctly when launch ./mvnw package -Pprod -DskipTests jib:build -T16.0C. Now I'm integrating my app in a CI/CD Jenkins Pipeline and I'm creating a command like the first but passing Auth data using variables:
./mvnw -ntp -T2.0C jib:build -Djib.from.auth.username=myUserName -Djib.from.auth.password=mygitlabtoken01 -Dimage=registry.gitlab.com/myapp -X
When I run it i get:

[ERROR] I/O error for image [registry-1.docker.io/library/adoptopenjdk]:
[ERROR] javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException
[ERROR] Remote host terminated the handshake
I do not understand anything:
Why jib plugin is using my .docker/config.json if I have indicated the auth info with -Djib.from.auth.username=myUserName?
Why am I getting SSLHandshakeException? Although the build is using my credentials, these are correct.
If you look at the log messages carefully, Jib did use your credentials you specified via from.auth.username|password for adoptopenjdk (which is hosted on Docker Hub).
Using credentials from <from><auth> for adoptopenjdk:11-jre-hotspot
Note the following line says the Docker config is used for registry.gitlab.com (the target registry).
Using credentials from Docker config (/Users/myUser/.docker/config.json) for registry.gitlab.com/neoris-emea-internal/ianthe/ianthe-app/ianthe
About the SSLHandshakeException, it has nothing to do with any Docker credentials. The error is from a much lower network layer (TLS protocol), so the failure is fundamentally unrelated to Jib or any application running in the JVM on Jenkins. It is basically telling you that any Java app on the JVM just cannot make a secure TLS connection to some hosts. There is no simple answer or solution to a TLS handshake failure, so get some help from a network and TLS expert if possible. Also check out other SO questions like this one.
Jenkins - 2.263.1(LTS) deployed through tomcat on CentOS-8.2and have Nginx reverse proxy running in-front of Jenkins.
Under Manage Jenkins > Configure Systems - Apply and Save not working, Due to this error, i cannot Apply (or) Save any of my configurations, It always shows below error on browser (Firefox & Chrome).
HTTP Status 403 – Forbidden

Also Jenkins > Manage Jenkins > Configure Global Security - Apply works. But Save not working this too results same above given error.

Feb 19, 2021 10:56:05 AM WARNING hudson.security.csrf.CrumbFilter
doFilter No valid crumb was included in request for
/jenkins/configSubmit by ankit.sahu. Returning 403.
Workaround tried:-
1) Under Configure Global security > CSRF Protection > Enable proxy compatibility( Tick marked Enabled). - Didn't work so disabled with below command.
2) hudson.security.csrf.GlobalCrumbIssuerConfiguration.DISABLE_CSRF_PROTECTION = true - Even this didn't solve the problem.
3) Installed the Strict Crumb Issuer plugin.
Enabled this plugin and unchecked Check the session ID from its configuration (Under Jenkins Configure Global Security).
4) Restated the Jenkins.
Even tried by adding below in /apache-tomcat-9.0.30/conf/tomcat-users.xml file.
<?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>
<tomcat-users>
<role rolename="manager-gui"/>
<role rolename="manager-script"/>
<role rolename="manager-jmx"/>
<role rolename="manager-status"/>
<role rolename="admin-gui"/>
<role rolename="admin-script"/>
<user username="user" password="password" roles="manager-gui,manager-script,manager-jmx,manager-status,admin-gui,admin-script"/>
</tomcat-users>
However still experiencing same problem. I don't know how to fix it, Can someone help me?
You can (temporarily) disable CSRF with below groovy script. Go to Manage Jenkins >> Script Console, then execute the below groovy script.
import jenkins.model.Jenkins
def instance = Jenkins.instance
instance.setCrumbIssuer(null)
The nonces embedded into web output from Jenkins with CSRF protection are based (at least in part as I've read) on values from the requesting client. In addition to making sure your reverse proxy is correctly configured to pass X-Forwarded-For and X-Forwarded-Proto, make sure that Tomcat valve is in place to expose those header values in the servlet request API so Jenkins has access to them.
Add the following to $CATALINA_BASE/conf/server.xml, subordinate to the <Host> element:
<Valve className="org.apache.catalina.valves.RemoteIpValve" remoteIpHeader="x-forwarded-for" protocolHeader="x-forwarded-proto" />
ref: https://www.jenkins.io/doc/book/system-administration/reverse-proxy-configuration-troubleshooting/
ref: https://www.jenkins.io/doc/book/system-administration/reverse-proxy-configuration-with-jenkins/
ref: https://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-9.0-doc/config/valve.html#Remote_IP_Valve
If you're using jenkinsapi, I resolved this error by specifying useCrumb=True in the constructor:
j = Jenkins(base_url, username=username, password=password, useCrumb=True)
I have an application with the name cat_tiger.war that gets deployed as localhost:8080/cat_tiger but I want to change the context path to localhost:8080/cat/lion/ instead. I've added the META-INF/context.xml file as
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<Context copyXML="true" docBase="cat_tiger" path="/cat/lion"/>
and the server.xml file to be
<Host name="localhost" appBase="webapps"
copyXML="true" deployXML="true"
unpackWARs="true" autoDeploy="true">
but it still deploys as localhost:8080/cat_tiger/
Any ideas as to what else needs to be changed?

I don't understand why you are having problems, but I've created the web project using NetBeans 8.2 (File > New Project... > Java Web > Web Application), and successfully changed the context, so perhaps if I give details of my project you can identify where there's a crucial difference.

Updated 9/6/2018:
Ignore the answer given above! Even though it happened to work for my configuration, the approach is explicitly disallowed in the Tomcat documentation.
Specifically, path should not be specified within the <Context> of a context.xml file placed within the application's META-INF directory. From the path description in the Common Attributes section of the Tomcat 8.5 documentation for the Context Container:
This attribute must only be used when statically defining a Context in
server.xml. In all other circumstances, the path will be inferred from
the filenames used for either the .xml context file or the docBase.
Even when statically defining a Context in server.xml, this attribute
must not be set unless either the docBase is not located under the
Host's appBase or both deployOnStartup and autoDeploy are false. If
this rule is not followed, double deployment is likely to result.
I am building a Mobile application with Flex 4.11.0 and AIR 4.0. My IDE is Flash Builder 4.7. I wrote a lot of unit tests, some of them using AIR features such as File system access.
I am trying to integrate the project into a CI job on jenkins. I have an ANT script doing the following:
Compiling
Packaging for Android
Packaging for iOS
Generating ASDOC
What I want now is to write an ANT-Task to launch my unit tests and generate a report in XML or HTML which can be parsed by Jenkins afterwards.
I have tried the following:
- Followed the tutorial on http://tutorials.digitalprimates.net/flexunit/Unit-16.html and got the example to work. However, this is a Flash project and not an AIR-Project!
- Read the documentation on https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/FLEX/FlexUnit+Ant+Task, downloaded and built the FlexUnit code from git#github.com:flexunit/flexunit.git to get the FlexUnit4AIRCIListener.swc
- Read a LOT of information on the internet from all over the place, not finding an answer (I did find some hints, but a lot of the information is outdated or references dead links)
What I have so far is the following:
<taskdef resource="flexUnitTasks.tasks" classpath="${basedir}\libs\flexUnitTasks-4.1.0.jar" />
<target name="test" >
<echo>Testing...</echo>
<echo>==========</echo>
<!-- 1. Compile FlexUnit-Application -->
<mxmlc file="${PROJECT.src}\FlexUnit.mxml" output="FlexUnit.swf" >
<load-config filename="D:\tools\sdk\flex\4.11.0_AIR4.0\frameworks\air-config.xml" append="true" />
<source-path path-element="${PROJECT.src}" />
<source-path path-element="${basedir}\test" />
<library-path dir="${PROJECT.libs}" append="true">
<include name="**/*.swc" />
<include name="**/*.ane" />
</library-path>
<library-path dir="D:\tools\sdk\flex\4.11.0_AIR4.0\frameworks\libs\air" append="true">
<include name="airglobal.swc" />
</library-path>
<compiler.verbose-stacktraces>true</compiler.verbose-stacktraces>
<compiler.headless-server>true</compiler.headless-server>
</mxmlc>
<!-- 2. Run the compiled SWF -->

/>
<!-- 3. Generate readable JUnit-style reports -->
<junitreport todir="${OUTPUT.root}\flexUnit">
<fileset dir="${OUTPUT.root}\flexUnit">
<include name="TEST-*.xml" />
</fileset>
<report format="frames" todir="${OUTPUT.root}\flexUnit\html" />
</junitreport>
</target>
Here are the relevant parts of my FlexUnit.mxml-Application:
protected function onCreationComplete(event:FlexEvent):void
{
core = new FlexUnitCore();
core.addListener(new AirCIListener());
core.run(currentRunTestSuite());
}
public function currentRunTestSuite():Array
{
var testsToRun:Array = new Array();
testsToRun.push(test.suites.CLXSatelliteTestSuite);
return testsToRun;
}
Step 1. from the ANT-Task works (at least I get the FlexUnit.swf). However, Launching the SWF in the <flexunit>-Task fails:
VerifyError: Error #1014: Class flash.filesystem::File could not be found.

When I include a single test which does not use the File-Class, the tests work and I get a similar error (ReferenceError: Error #1065: Variable flash.desktop::NativeApplication is not defined.) but at least the tests run through and I get XML-output. Seems to me like FlexUnit is not really compatible with AIR, although I use player=airin the task.
Does anybody of you have a working example of running Unit Tests with FlexUnit for an AIR Application (possibly a mobile application) through ANT?
Never mind, I figured it out myself and blogged about it in my personal blog:
http://www.tiefenauer.info/ci-for-flex-mobile-applications-part-3-performing-unit-tests/
I described a whole CI process there, just in case anyone has the same problem.
There is Apache FlexUnit feature request for this here: Apache FlexUnit: FLEX-35090
Or you can utilize this feature by compiling your own FlexUnit task by using this fork of FlexUnit 4.1: additionalCompilerOptions branch
The formatting supported with the custom FlexUnit Ant Task is as follows:
<flexunit
workingDir="${bin.loc}"
toDir="${report.loc}"
haltonfailure="false"
verbose="true"
localTrusted="true" >
<!-- only supported with custom FlexUnit Ant tasks -->
<additionalCompilerOption option="-define+=MY_CONST::foo,'BAR'" />
</flexunit>
I have had a look at
Unable to load type 'NHibernate.ByteCode.Castle.ProxyFactoryFactory, NHibernate.ByteCode.Castle'
I am also having the same error message when running the unit tests after deployment, however my application is running fine. Even during development, I am not having any such error.
What is wrong? Why I am having this error message when running the unit test?
The error message is as follows:
NHibernate.Bytecode.ProxyFactoryFactoryNotConfiguredException : The ProxyFactoryFactory was not configured.
Initialize 'proxyfactory.factory_class' property of the session-factory configuration section with one of the available NHibernate.ByteCode providers.

Which version of NHibernate are you using? Version 3.2 comes pre-configured with a proxy factory. If you are using this version, you no longer need the proxyfactory.factory_class configuration option.
Also, if your tests are failing but not your app, then maybe the tests are not able to access the right hibernate config file. If you are doing the configuration programmatically, look at it once again to verify the proxy factor is set (if using NH < 3.2) or not set (if using NH >= 3.2) ...
