Nvidia NVML Driver/library version mismatch: dkms, modules, drivers and modinfo versions

I have the Nvidia NVML Driver/library version mismatch error, for which I recommend reading the following answers:
https://stackoverflow.com/a/67105064/1782553
https://stackoverflow.com/a/71672261/1782553
However, after purging and re-installing the nvidia packages (necessary because of the issue described here), I still get the error. A reboot resolved the issue but I'd like to understand why?
Also, I'm not sure I understand the meaning of the 4 following commands and the Nvidia version they display.
Before reboot
$ cat /sys/module/nvidia/version
515.65.01
$ cat /proc/driver/nvidia/version
NVRM version: NVIDIA UNIX x86_64 Kernel Module 515.65.01 Wed Jul 20 14:00:58 UTC 2022
GCC version: gcc version 9.4.0 (Ubuntu 9.4.0-1ubuntu1~20.04.1)
$ dkms status
nvidia, 515.65.07, 5.4.0-131-generic, x86_64: installed
$ modinfo nvidia | grep ^version
version: 515.65.07
After reboot
$ cat /sys/module/nvidia/version
515.65.07
$ cat /proc/driver/nvidia/version
NVRM version: NVIDIA UNIX x86_64 Kernel Module 515.65.07 Thu Sep 22 00:22:12 UTC 2022
GCC version: gcc version 9.4.0 (Ubuntu 9.4.0-1ubuntu1~20.04.1)
$ dkms status
nvidia, 515.65.07, 5.4.0-131-generic, x86_64: installed
$ modinfo nvidia | grep ^version
version: 515.65.07
I understand there's a difference between the loaded driver version and the driver version that will be loaded after next reboot, but I would have guessed that the modinfo version would match the cat /proc/... version, or that the dkms version would match the cat /sys/... version, but they don'tâ€Ĥ
Could someone make a brief summary of what each command is reading?

nixos installation issue,'command not found: nix'

I deleted /nix and started a fresh install of nix, however after installing nix install nix (MACBook Pro M1 arm64 BigSur) with sh <(curl -L https://nixos.org/nix/install) I run $ nix but I get the output zsh: command not found: nix , same for nix-shellalso the /nix volume is not created, I also tried the instruction at https://docs.plutus-community.com/docs/setup/MacOS.html still same issue
Open /etc/zshrc and look for the following lines (probably at the end of the file):
# Nix
if [ -e '/nix/var/nix/profiles/default/etc/profile.d/nix-daemon.sh' ]; then
. '/nix/var/nix/profiles/default/etc/profile.d/nix-daemon.sh'
fi
# End Nix
Copy these lines and delete them from this file.
Open ~/.zshrc and add the above copied lines to the end of this file
Reboot terminal and nix should work now.

"command not found" in zsh after adding a command into /usr/local/bin

~ ll /usr/local/bin| grep vrl
-rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 31K 9ĉœˆ 29 09:38 vrlsubmit
➜ ~ echo $PATH
/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games:/usr/local/games:/snap/bin
➜ ~ vrlsubmit
zsh: command not found: vrlsubmit
Finally somebody helped me:
Root cause is:
I am trying to exec a 32bit command in 64bit system
Debug:
> file submit # < submit stands for the command >
submit: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked, interpreter /lib/ld-linux.so.2, for GNU/Linux 2.2.5, not stripped
> ls /lib | grep ld
compat-ld
gold-ld
Based on above "file submit", it tells "interpreter /lib/ld-linux.so.2" needed. But there are no /lib/ld-linux.so.2 file at all!!!
Solution:
sudo apt-get install lib32z1 -y
submit
Error: Missing one or more required arguments.
submit

Build HDFView 3.1 on ubuntu-20.04

I have downloaded the deb file from the https://support.hdfgroup.org/ftp/HDF5/releases/HDF-JAVA/hdfview-3.1.2/bin/ link and install it via
sudo dpkg -i hdfview_3.1.2-1_amd64.deb
I didn't see any error during installation.
But hdfview didn't open.
I am using java-1.11.0-openjdk and hdf5-1.10.
How to solve this problem?
I found a way to solve this. The program gets installed in /opt/hdfview. However, starting it causes the error
$ ./bin/HDFView
Error: dl failure on line 534
Error: failed /opt/hdfview/lib/runtime/lib/server/libjvm.so, because /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.32' not found (required by /opt/hdfview/lib/runtime/lib/server/libjvm.so)
Failed to launch JVM
We can fix this by patching the libjvm.so file:
Install java-15 if it is not present already:
sudo apt install openjdk-15-jre
Find the libjvm.so file:
cd /usr/lib
find . -name libjvm.so
In my case, the correct version is located in /usr/lib/jvm/java-15-openjdk-amd64/lib/server/libjvm.so
Replace the libjvm.so in hdfview with a symlink to this libjvm.so
cd /opt/hdfview/lib/runtime/lib/server
sudo mv libjvm.so libjvm.so.bak
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/jvm/java-15-openjdk-amd64/lib/server/libjvm.so libjvm.so
(optional) link the hdfview binary, so that it is found in the terminal
sudo ln -s /opt/hdfview/bin/HDFView /usr/local/bin/hdfview
Afterwards, you should be able to start hdfview both from the terminal and the icon.

ejabber's erl file give error "segmentation fault: 11" while running on mac os 10.7.5

I am trying to start ejabber 16.05 server on mac os 10.7.5. while starting up, it gives error. on further investigation, I found that "erl" executor file shipped with ejabber is throwing "Segmentation Fault:11" while running independently. I firmly believe that resolving issue with "erl" file execution will solve server start up issue. can anyone please help. Below is the code from "erl" that is causing segmentation fault error

I just see that you are using OSX 10.7. We do not test ejabberd binary installer on version of OS that are so old.
I do not even expect the binary installer to run on such an old release.
If you have to run ejabberd on that OSX version, you have to build it from source.
ejabberd source are available on official ejabberd Github.
Documentation for installation and build is here Installing ejabberd from source code.
