Implement IOS7 App Switcher Animation to change views - ios

I'm trying to implement the effect bellow to switch my views:
(Unfortunately I don't have enough reputation to post images, but is the same animation of this post)
I have a UIPageViewController with some views. Suppose this UIPageViewController is inside a ViewController with a header. In this header, there is a button when pressed will zoom out and show the views inside the UIPageController with the same look and feel of the app switcher. I don't have to swipe to up to delete these views. I just need the zoom out, scroll left-right and zoom in (at the end) look and feel.
Someone had already implemented this animation?

Swift: Zooming image with scrollView like Facebook

I am trying to build an iOS app that will have the structure of Facebook's feed:
A vertical collection view that will have cells. Each cell will consist of image and text.
In fact, I am building my app with the help of this video by LetsBuildThatApp (this guy rocks by the way).
Currently, I am able to touch the image and animate it to full width, and also pan to dismiss it if velocity on Y-axis is more than a specific threshold.
What I want to achieve after that is to also be able to pinch/double tap to zoom. Like this:
I searched around and found some great articles on how to use UISCrollView to zoom. [Article1, Article2].
The problem is that I use autolayout to perform animations but these articles either use Storyboards or frames to position the image in the center of the scroll view [or at least this is how I understand it]. And also they don't involve any animations to start with.
Also, I don't want to present or push a view controller onto the navigation controller stack. I would rather animate the view on top of the base view as I do now.
Any idea on how to achieve this?
Thank you in advance!

How to slide / swipe / screen edge swipe between two UIViews in iOS 7

I have two UIViews - UIView1 and UIView2 in one UIViewController, both same size (about half screen) and at same location with UIView1 visible and on top of UIView2.
I want to be able to swipe UIView1 left to right to display UIView2, with transition effect smooth like Safari back / forward swipe in iPhone.
Also on reverse I want to be able to swipe UIView2 right to left to display UIView1, with transition effect smooth like Safari back / forward swipe in iPhone.
How do I do this? I saw several examples for the complete UIViewcontroller (using push segue), but couldn't figure just UIViews.
Don't reinvent the wheel. Use this awesome iOS library that does exactly what you are looking to do: https://github.com/nicklockwood/iCarousel.
iCarousel would fit for this work, but I suggest you to use this solution:

It's feels more like native UIScrollView's paging animation.

Disable bouncing edges in UIPageView

I have a UIPageViewController which manages UINavigationControllers, which are hooked up to a UITableView. I want the user to be able to swipe between the different "table views", which currently works. When the user swipes on the first or last page, the controller moves off the screen and there is black behind it. I don't want the user to be able to swipe off the screen.
I tried using gesture recognizers to prevent pan and swipe gestures in a certain direction when the user was at the first or last page but when I returned NO in gestureRecognizer:shouldReceiveTouch: the view was still able to scroll.
In the end I am trying to emulate how "snapchat" works, I don't mind using a different method to achieve what they have I just am unsure how I would do it.
You can try setting background color on the superview to white or the color of your tableview.
I finally figured out an easy semi-fix. I decided to take a screenshot and use the clone tool to get rid of all the labels and I set it as the background image of the UIPageView. Now at least it doesn't look black, it just looks like the tableview continues off the screen.

Simple Picture based App

I'm developing a iPad app which is just a series of pictures, and I'm stuck. I've managed to link up a Tab Bar Contoller to the 6 View Controllers and all seems to work well. But I'd like to be able swipe to the next View Controller once the user has selected the button. How do I do this? The swipe gestures don't work for me. Here's a snapshot:
I think you are looking for UIPageController. This is the control that is used in the iPhone Weather app to allow you to swipe from city to city. Go here to see the full documentation on the control.
That's not usually how Tab Bars work in iOS, but…
What it sounds like you're after is either a UIScrollView with paging enabled (keep in mind you'll have to set the scroll view's ContentSize) or a UIPageViewController (if you don't want to deal with sizing explicitly and you're OK making a new UIViewController to house each image). I'd recommend the first option. The process would go something like:
Add the UIScrollView as a subview of your main view (remember, ensure to set pagingEnabled to YES
Add each image to the scroll view
Set the scroll view's content size to the total width of all images
Thanks for the clarification!

pretty big lag on my UIButtons?

i have a game with like 48 buttons that i have in a 6 x 8 grid. the games kind of like a chess game in the layout, so its kind of important to have all those buttons. well if you can imagine a chess game that the layouts so big that i may need a vertical scroll view so that the user can scroll up and down to play the game fully. And, when i scroll i obviously don't want my navigational buttons at the top scrolling too (menu button for example). So, what i did was i made a view controller, i added a UIView, then inside the UIView i added a scroll view, and inside that scroll view i added first all my 48 buttons for my chess-like game and then my bg for that game, so that the when the user vertically scrolled not only the bg would scroll but also all the buttons too. I did all the code and everything to make my scroll view work, and then lastly i put my navigational buttons (menu, pause etc..) inside my first view i made underneath the scroll view (so that it was layered correctly)
well, after i did this my scrolling worked fine, except there was a lag when i tried to press one of my 48 buttons. This was a lag that i did not experience before i put all my buttons inside a scroll view. Before this my buttons performed fantastically, but now that they were in a scroll view, they lagged a very little bit. Like when you touch the button it takes the button about a fifth of a second to change instead of instantaneous. Its a small lag, but definitely noticeable. Yet, when i try and touch my navigational buttons (that are not embedded in a scroll view) there is no lag at all,
Did i do anything wrong by putting my buttons in a scroll view? If so, what else can i do to get my buttons to scroll without my navigational buttons scrolling.
ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!
EDIT: I'm running this on the simulator if that makes a difference
I believe that this is something to do with responder, and the fact that both your UIButton and the UIScrollView need to know what to do with your touch.
If you put your finger on the UIButton, the UIScrollView will also see this touch. The UIScrollView is interested to know if this touch is going to turn into a drag, therefore waits to see if you move your finger. Perhaps this is blocking your UIButton from firing.
