I am using Vonage(Nexmo) to send SMS to our service users.
While integrating, I want to test if the SMS is well delivered to our users located in 10+ countries.
However, I do not own the local numbers to send SMS in each country, since those numbers to send SMS are all users' numbers, not mine. (I do not own local branches or offices so I do not own any local numbers to test.)
I tried to use Vonage to buy numbers for each country to test, but as the article shown below, using Vonage's virtual numbers for testing may not be possible.
(Article : https://api.support.vonage.com/hc/en-us/articles/217923827-Can-I-send-SMS-to-my-Virtual-Number-using-the-Vonage-SMS-API- )
How can I test the real-word delivery for my SMS integration in Vonage? Any Ideas?
Please share your knowhows on integrating SMS platform and testing the feature.

first of all a disclaimer: I am the product owner in the platform i am about to talk about i.e Routee. It seems to me that your issue can be easily addressed if you perform the following steps:
Rent a VLN from our platform (We offer 100% coverage). You will need to create an account first in go.routee.net
Set the inboundSmsCallbackUrl as defined in our documentation relevant to receiving inbound SMS
Send an SMS to the virtual number and observe the message being forwarded to your selected endpoint.
And you are done, if you have any issues let me know and i would gladly assist you.

I want to pay users a one-off fixed $20 payment for completing a task within my iOS app.
I would like the user to be able to add their payment card within the app, and then when they complete the task the money goes directly to their payment card.
I have read Stripe Connect, however it seems the user has to leave the app and make their own Stripe account on Stripe's website, which is alot of work on the user end.
Is there an easier way for the user to add their payment card/verification only within my iOS app?
Or is there another provider such as PayPal that may offer this natively on iOS?
You're user will have to create a Stripe Account to receive funds (i.e. get money which does not comes from a transaction they've initiated - like a refund -).
But no, they don't have to "create a Stripe Account", there's a product named connect express (https://stripe.com/fr/connect/express). Then you'll fully manage the account.
Please note that it is not the primary goal, of Stripe Connect which was built to allow products like marketplaces. Not one time shoot payments (please read their ToS before starting coding).
Moreover (but it's not a dev perspective), as a user I'd be a bit afraid of giving my CC number with a message saying "Hey give us your card, we'll send you $20". It look like this Scam you receive in inbox saying that you'll receive $13 M, in exchange of the transfer fees.
I don't know any PSP which offer that, for a specific reason, sending money to users is extremely regulated, as it's very borderline with money laundering.
If you really want to send money, for a dev perspective I'd go with collecting IBAN (safer, and you basically can't withdraw money with only such a piece of information). And work with Transferwise / IbanFirst APIs. But no Swift / SwiftUI here you'll have to write backend code.

I've got a database who store the device Token, country Code and language of my users and I need to send remote notifications for all the user.
What kind of tool can I used to send all notifications by country with a batch?
Thanks,
It's not quite clear what exactly you are trying to achieve but here are options based on my guess, ordered by relevance:
In terms of notifications you can use:
Apple Push Notification Service
your server controls when notification is happening
works for all app states (open/background/closed)
when app is closed user must accept notification to open app
will bother user with system notifications
does not guaranty delivery
requires extra work on server-side and generation of certificates by hand
Local notifications (some relevant info)
your app controls when notification is happening
works for all app states (open/background/closed)
when app is closed user must accept notification to open app
will bother user with system notifications
If you want updates to be invisible to user and just update app you should employ NSURLSession and NSURLConnection and work up from there. These might be of interest:
Polling updates on behalf of app with background fetches
your app controls when update is happening (if iOS doesn't mind)
doesn't work when app is closed
invisible to user
should be optimized for battery life
Keeping connection open (search "ios SocketRocket" for example implementation)
your app totally controls updates
won't work when app is closed
drains battary like crazy (so not recommended)
And then there is oportunity to missuse Voice push API in a interesting way

I am trying to develop a program in order to Export SMS messages from device.
If anyone know how to achieve please give some code snippet or any Link.
Thanks in Advance.
First of it is not nice to just ask for code. We are here to help you in any way we can but most of us make a living programming, so just giving away code is not a real option.
Second, on iOS the SMS messages cannot be read by third party apps. There is no real option to achieve what you want. A simple search on Google would have told you this.
If you are planning on releasing an app for jailbroken device then it may be possible.
This against Apple's sandbox limits. Apps only have a very limited number of resources that it may use. and you can not fetch SMS, incoming call history or many other Feature that apple not allow to use in to Your Native app.
check ones this doc iOS programming guild so Export SMS messages from device. that is not possible in iPhone device (Non-jailbroken) as #rckoenes said

In my app people can send each other virtual gifts which they can use within the app.
Gifts can be purchased using Coins.
Coins can be purchased using Consumable in app purchases.
I am storing everything on my server.
Here is what I got from apple.
As indicated in the previous correspondence, your app includes "gifting" feature allowing users to send virtual gift using the purchased Consumable coins and the recipient can use the received item.
It would be appropriate to remove gifting feature from your app.
There is nothing in the AppStore Guidelines regarding "gifting" features. Can someone shed some light on this matter ?
How can I get my app approved while keeping the Gifting feature?
I think, one better solution.
a) you use Terms & conditions page in your app and explain all things.
b) include two things in `Terms & conditions page
1)include an explicit statement in the contest or virtual gift using rules that specifies that Apple is not a sponsor nor is involved in any way
2)insure that the contest or virtual prizes are not Apple products; using Apple products as prizes suggests an inappropriate association with Apple.
I will suggest you to ask them in Resolution Center why should I not use gifting feature in my application as I am following HIG ? Then they will elaborate in more details the reason of rejection and then if they tell you valid reason then you will have to make changes in your app otherwise they will accept your app.
Hope it helps you.

As a freelance iOS developer, how would you go about taking royalties on your app from your client? [closed]

I have just finished an iOS app for a client who wishes to charge for it, but he'd like me to do periodic updates and the like after I upload it to iTunes. I have already received the payment for the development of the app. As payment for periodic updates however, I was going to work on a percentage of what he is selling the app for. This is my first freelance for pay job and I'm not sure about the protocol and how I would go about receiving payment.
How would I know how much money he was receiving from the app without asking for the monthly financial records or just trusting that he was telling me the correct amount?
I haven't seen any questions regarding the business side of iOS app production so if this question is not appropriate for SO please let me know and possibly direct me to a more directed forum for this topic. I just have confidence that there must be several experienced freelance developers who could possibly help me not make beginner mistakes with clients.
Cheers
