Problem summary : I would like to submit an app to the Apple App store (TestFlight). I am using Transporter v1.1 to submit the app. I am getting the following error in Transporter during the submission process. Please note that I am not using Xcode in this process.
Actual result:
ERROR ITMS-90596: "Invalid Bundle. The asset catalog at 'Payload/ExpoKitApp.app/GoogleMaps.bundle/GMSCoreResources.bundle/Assets.car' can't be processed. Rebuild your app, and all included extensions and frameworks, with the latest GM version of Xcode and resubmit."
Expected result : successful submission to the app store.
Development environment : Expo 36.0.0 / macOS High Sierra v 10.13.6 / Processor 2,3 GHz Intel Core i5 / Transporter v 1.1
What have I tried ? :
Deleting all node modules and installing them again (npm install).
Deleting any old Xcode folders on my mac. Please note that I am not using Xcode.
Checked the version of xcode in package-lock.json. It is 2.0.0 but it is being used as dependancy and not as a direct tool in the submission process.
Generate a new build thrice and submitting it once more in Transporter.
Can anyone please help me in this process ? I know this question has been asked before but the case is not applicable to me because I am not using xcode or application loader to submit the app.
This could help someone in a similar situation. Here is how I solved my problem with the advice of a senior developer.
Using expo diagnostics I found out the version of Xcode that my expo toolkit was using. The answer was undefined because I wasn't using Xcode at all.
Being on macOS High Sierra 10.13.6, I needed Xcode 10.1 for compatibility.
I downloaded Xcode 10.1 and also the compatible command line tools.
I transferred the installed Xcode from the downloads folder to applications folder.
Again ran expo diagnostics and noted that expo has taken into account the associated Xcode version.
Ran expo build:ios
Downloaded the .ipa file generated by expo on their server.
Submitted the .ipa file using Transporter to the Apple app store (TestFlight).
Successful submission.

Submit to App Store built with iOS 12.1 SDK

I’m using Xamarin Forms 3.4 and VSTS to build and deploy to iTunes and Google Play.
During February (perhaps a bit earlier) I was getting a warning when I was trying to deploy to iTunes. The warning was the following
SDK Version Issue - This app was built with the iOS 11.4 SDK.
Starting March 2019, all iOS apps submitted to the App Store must be built
with the iOS 12.1 SDK or later, included in Xcode 10.1 or later
Everything that I tried so far didn’t work.
So I added a “Bash script” step before the build step and added the following 2 lines in the script
sudo $AGENT_HOMEDIRECTORY/scripts/select-xamarin-sdk.sh 5_16_0
echo '##vso[task.setvariable variable=MD_APPLE_SDK_ROOT;]'/Applications/Xcode_10.1.app;sudo xcode-select --switch /Applications/Xcode_10.1.app/Contents/Developer

The build is successful but the deployment to iTunes fails with the error

Before adding the “Bash script” step, I didn’t have this problem in iTunes deployment.
So I guess that the question is obvious… what am I doing wrong?

I think in your case maybe updating Visual studio will solve your issue, Because updating VS will update your Xamarin.iOS sdk version to 12.1+ if it is lower than this.
And also if you have Xcode 9.4 installed then you will need to install Xcode 10.1 to provide support for iOS 12.0 and above for Visual Studio

Xcode not supported for iOS 11.3 by Xcode 9.2 needed 9.3

Apparently, with the latest IOS update, my version of Xcode could not build due to the following error.
Could not locate device support files. This iPhone 7 Plus (Model 1661, 1784, 1785, 1786) is running iOS 11.3 (15E216), which may not be supported by this version of Xcode.
Tried to install Xcode 9.3 via this link https://developer.apple.com/download/more/. But as it turns out, my Mac OS version sees the update as an incompatible version. Running on Sierra 10.12.6
Another option is to download the 11.3 device support at:
iOS 11.3 (15E217)
And don't forget to remove "(15E217)" from folder name, so it became "11.3". Restart Xcode afterwards.

For those that don't know where to paste the contents of the zipped file. Find your Applications icon in the dock, right-click, "Open Applications". The folder will open in Finder. Right-click Xcode > Show Package Contents. Then go to Developer > Platforms > iPhoneOS.platform > DeviceSupport
I have the same problem, OS Sierra trying to run iPhone SE with 10.3 using Xcode 9.2 and I don't have the resources to update to High Sierra and Xcode 9.3.
Solution:
Find your friends who have Xcode 9.3
Ask them to right click on Xcode, Show Package Contents then navigate to Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport/11.3 (15E217)
Copy the 11.3 (15E217) folder to your old Xcode (9.2) with the same file hierarchy
Now you have Xcode 9.2 with iOS 11.3.
I just give you a device support file for iOS 11.4 (15F79).
which just on XCode version 9.4 (9F1027a)

You can download Xcode 9.3 from https://developer.apple.com/download/
and extract the "11.3 (15E217)" folder from it
The fix really works.
please add both of "11.3 (15E216)" and "11.3 (15E217)"
keep all of them inside /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform
I recently stumbled upon the same problem, where I basically updated my iPhone X to the newest OS version, and (for reasons I will not go into) had to run the app on Xcode 9.2.
This thread was helpful, but there's one small caveat that even though I downloaded the newest support files from the provided Github project, and put them in the appropriate folder, I was still getting this error:
Say for example you’ve downloaded 11.4 (15F79) but after restarting and running again you get an error mentioning something like 11.4.1 (15G77).
The solution, as I wrote here, was to just rename the folder (so, rename 11.4 (15F79) to 11.4.1 (15G77)), restart Xcode and voila, it works!

Here you have the "11.3 (15E217)" it's work fine.
Quicker/Smaller Fix
This is probably due to outdated Xcode, if you don't want a big Xcode update due to limited storage/time then you can manually download the required support files instead of the whole update.
Download the files (depend on iOS veersion) from here
And then paste the downloaded files in below directory /Applications/Xcode/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport

Xcode Project throws Error for requirement of macOS 11.0 or later

When I open MBP today and to see my project in Xcode, instead it opened older version (a month old at least). I search on Finder found the last version. However, when I try to open I am getting below error:
You have macOS 10.13.2. The application requires macOS 11.0 or later.
Yesterday it was working fine. I installed Google Framework for AdMob and GoogleService plist. Is this could be the problem? Could it alter the project's requirement?

I am using latest macOS 10.13.2 and Xcode is latest Version 9.2 (9C40b).
It looke like that xcode automatic updates are enabled and during the last shutDown/start the version updated and requires high macOSX version than the current , check xcode version and google the least system requirements for it

Unable to find any Xcode installations thats supports at least iOS 8.0

I haven't used my development tools for Appecelerator Titanium in a while (Studio and CLI). Now I try to run an existing app in the iOS simulator.
From studio I can not select the iOS simulators.
When I use the CLI and execute: appc run (platform iOS) i get this message:
Unable to find any Xcode installations thats supports at least iOS 8.0
I have Xcode version 9.0.1 installed.
How can i connect Xcode with Titanium again?
The path of the active XCode developer directory (xcode-select -p) is:
/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer
You're probably on an SDK older than 6.2. xcode 9 isn't supported by older SDK's for obvious reasons. You can either install xcode8 (downloadable from the apple website) or you can upgrade to Titanium SDK 6.2 or higher (6.3 came out, I recommend that)
For information regarding versioning (of everything related to Ti, check the compatibility matrix in the documentation)
Had the same problem today after installed Xcode 9.2, on side of Xcode 9.4.1 and Titanium SDK 7.2.0.GA. Same error message as in the title of this post. As suggested by Patrick De Marta, I've tried
appc run -p ios -T simulator -C x
after that, I could select a simulator and run the app.

What do you get when you execute "appc ti sdk list" from command line ?
I'm not sure if this is your case, but I had a similar problem and solved it by specifying the target simulator with the CLI build option -C
(appc ti info for the list of simulator names )
