Problem installing Canvas LMS using docker - docker

I am trying to install a development version of Canvas LMS using this Quick Start Guide.
Input:
./script/docker_dev_setup.sh
The first time I ran it, I had the following output:

So, I stalled dory and ran the script again.

I tried to track down the second error:

I open this file and see:

The error appears to be here:
if Gem.respond_to?(:activate_bin_path)

Can I somehow change the path to allow the process to continue, or is there something that I can do to the folder structure that will allow it to continue?

Error with latex when using the package babel option with TexStudio

I am writing the following code in TeXstudio:

And with option brazil at babel package I receive the error bellow:

I am using:Ubuntu 22.04, TeXstudio 4.2.1 and babel 2020/09/01 3.48 The Babel package
I have already try to remove and install:
sudo apt-get install texlive-lang-portuguese
or
sudo apt-get install textlive-lang-all
and nothing works....
What is the problem and how can i solve it?
Found it.
There were two different packages locations in my machine.
~/.Tinytex
and
/usr/share/texlive
I have deleted the .Tinytex and everything works right now.

\maketitle in LaTeX gives error "! Missing $ inserted.<inserted text>$ \maketitle". What's the reason?

Here's the simplest LaTeX file:

But when I Quick Build then it gives the following ERRORS:

I got it. I have used _ , with that it gives error. One needs to either remove _ or use \ with, as \_ , then it works.

Handling ID variables and Factors in R

I have this dataset and I want to build
some models and compare them.
However I'm quite confused of how should the product ID independent variable.
I have this dataset, all variables are numeric, but the product ID variable is int as shown below:

How to handle this product ID? should I do one - hot - encoding ?
And if the solution is to transform it into a factor, what ML algorithm accepts factors ?
ID is there just for identification of a product but doesn't have any impact on dependent variable therefore it should not be included in any model.

In LaTeX, how to escape to print out a block of text

The Problem: I just want to print a sequence like this in plain text:

I would like to avoid escaping all characters along the way, including special characters for preserving spaces. Essentially, I am drawing an ASCII picture!
For a pure ASCII-picture interpretation, use the verbatim environment:

The verbatim environment sets interprets spaces, line breaks and special characters as-is.
