When trying to add a Service-based Database to my new project, I get a long error message stating that the CREATE FILE failed along with other queries:
The project I'm trying to add the database to is just created with nothing else changed with it:
After the error message pops up, the .mdf file shows in my solution explorer. However, when I double click the files, it states it does not exist in the project directory.
Edit: I have done a repair plus a reboot of my PC and I'm still getting this same issue.

I am facing 2 issues with my SQL Developer (Version 19.1.0.094) since the last 3 days. Everything was fine before that. And system variables in my local look OK to me.
Issues
When I click to connect to a database using an existing/saved connection on the left Connections pane, I get an error pop-up message : Invalid connection information specified. Verify the URL format for the specified driver. Vendor code 0. File attached below
The other one is, even though the folder for tnsnames.ora is configured correctly, and the application was reading from that file properly 3 days ago, now its not showing up the full list of tns entries. When I tried to add a new connection using "TNS" from the "connection type" drop-down, the list shown is no where near what I have in the tnsnames.ora file.
Any idea what may have caused this ? Re-install will take time unfortunately :(
I'm getting a server error when I try to delete build definitions from a project on the Team Foundation Server 2015 web interface.
The error message that pops up is:

I also get a similar error when I try to save changes to a build definition.
I'm doing everything with an administrator account on the server.
It's acting like the user has INSERT permission in the database but not DELETE or UPDATE, but I'm not sure if this is the cause and the permissions in the database seem OK (why would they be configured incorrectly after a fresh install?).
I'm using a local SQL Server Express instance. I'm using Windows Authentication for TFS, and I'm able to login with Windows Authentication and manually delete them from the database using SQL Server Management Studio.
I just did another uninstall/fresh install and I'm still seeing this error. Any insight into the cause or solution would be much appreciated.
UPDATE
A SQL Server trace isn't showing any relevant commands being received when I attempt the delete/edit, so it seems like the error is happening before it even reaches out to the database.
First, please make sure you have enough permission. Such as edit build definition . You can use tf permission command to list the realted permission info.
For example: tf permission /user:userID /collection:http://xxx:8080/tfs/defaultcollection
which will return the modified permission for that user under the collection path. Also work with server path.
Also add your user in Team Project Administrator Group and Build Administrator Group.
Try to clean browser cache and close the browser then try it again.
I have a problem in TFS.
Actually, last time when we are working on ROM (my project name). We (john & me ) both had created a controller with same
name ROController.cs and we noticed this problem (same files Confilct), when we are checking files to TFS.
So, i deleted my file , and let john to check in his file.
Now ,the problem is that when i try to get lastest or even
access that ROController and its View. i got errors like
"you do not have permissoin to access this file."
also in the team explorer , my file is shown as deleted, user name (me)
These are the files properly defining the error status.

I downloaded the VS2015 Preview and tried to create a Web Project.
I am getting the following errors when creating the project itself.
I get a Watson error first 'Unspeciifed error HRESULT:0x80004005 (E_FAIL)' ,
Then When I tried to open the Project Directly from the physical location it is throwing the other error 'Unable to create the Virtual Directory Localhost:5544 ...Error:Filename:redirection.config'
I had tried each of the steps recommended and didn't work. So, my last resource was to review the registry to find out if my user was pointing to a temp or cache folder.
Some posts were suggesting to check on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE; but nothing there. So, I finally found it by going into the HKEY_CURRENT_USER as recommended by boilers222.
Opened registry (CTRL+R, regedit, OK)
Navigated to
KEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders\
Found out the Personal key was pointing to
\OurServer\RedirectedFolders\MyName\MyDocuments
Selected the Personal key, right clicked on it, and selected Modify
Entered a location pointing to my user's documents file:
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\
Clicked OK and closed the registry editor
When I opened Visual Studio and opened my solution, it loaded without the "unable to access the IIS metabase" error.
I developed a simple plugin to bar files ending in .exe from being uploaded into my jira app. I overrode the AttachFile.doValidation() method to check for .exe in the filename. If it's there I return an error.
Now when I try to delete an attachment, 9 times out of 10 it won't work. I simply get the error "Failed to delete attachment with id {id}". Nothing in the stacktrace or logs indicated that something went wrong. Then it will suddenly delete succcessfully. I've found no rhyme or reason for this.
Again, I overrode AttachFile, not DeleteAttachment, so I don't know how my fix could be related to this problem. Could it be though??
If I remove my plugin entirely, I still get an error when I delete. The error says "The action can't be completed because the file is open in Java(TM) Platform SE binary". Somehow AttachFile() is leaving a reference to the file, but I have no clue where or how to clean up.
Permissions aren't the issue, because occasionally the delete command will work. It always works when the server first starts up, and after that only periodically.
We've come to the conclusion that this is a Windows-only problem, and Linux doesn't lock files. Our production server is Linux, so I'm not going to spend anymore time on this.
