Material icon for regular files - angular-material

I'm developing an Angular application that browses a datastore and I want the UI to look a bit like Google Drive, complete with icons next to the directory entries. What's the name of the icon Google Drive uses for regular files? It's a little blue rectangle with one corner that looks like it's been folded down.

Found it! <mat-icon>insert_drive_file</mat-icon>. I swear I searched for the string "file"... :D

How do you change the icon for an automator app?

I have created a simple application for my Mac using Automator. I am trying to change its icon from the default robot icon, but anything I try does not work. I have tried copy-pasting the image I want using the Get Info technique, but that didn't work. I also converted the image I want as my icon to a .icns file and put it in the resources folder inside the package contents folder for the app. I also renamed that icon to AutomatorApplet.icns. This technique did not work either. Are there any other techniques I can try, or am I simply doing something wrong?
The copy-paste technique actually works. The one thing I realized I missed is to select the image. You need to hit command-a to "select all" before you can copy the image you want to use as your icon. Then to paste the image onto the app/file you want to have the image as an icon for, just select the item and hit command-i. The get info panel opens and you will need to click on the icon on the top left. Hit command-v and your new image should be used as an icon.

Add / use custom SVG as material-icon

I'm using the material design package for my application layout menu.
I have 2 menus items where I can't find an icon that fits, so I got 2 SVG files that I added to the project.
I want to use this as the material-list-item icon instead of a material-icon.
Is there a way to do this by either adding a custom icon to the material-icon library or replacing the icon in the list.
If yes, please I need a complete example as I am new to DartAngular, still trying to figure out some stuff.
There is a mixin for material-icon which will get allow you to change a material-icon into using an SVG. https://github.com/dart-lang/angular_components/blob/c6cb3d783e72ff1ed7974f18b7f169778c73d39b/angular_components/lib/material_icon/_mixins.scss#L49
There is indeed a mixin for this as pointed out in Ted Sander's answer, but for the moment it does not seem to work. I've asked this on Gitter but did not get an answer, and I also opened a ticket on Github for this seemingly broken feature.
It's a telltale sign that even the official Angular Components Gallery has a broken SVG icon example.
I'd suggest to implement this by using separate list item rendering for those that have an official material-icon representation and those that need a custom SVG image, and conditionally render them with the ngIf directive.

Menu is not showing pdf file- pdf Annotation in iOS

I am developing the app like ibooks by reference,in that the pdf is not enabling the menu i.e while I long tap the pdf it not showing Menu like copy , define.
How can I work in menu? Help me.
The linked solution simply does not implement text selection or glyph coordinate extraction/conversion. You need to parse the PDF page content stream and track glyphs on the page. CGPDFOperatorTable can be a starting point, however I suggest reading the PDF spec and getting familiar with the multiple transformation matrix states that a page can have - it's quite tricky to get right. You also need to embed various CMaps (character maps) so that all fonts can be correctly parsed. It took me more than a year to get a reliable text extraction for >99% of all PDF documents. If you want to save this time, you can check out the commercial PDF SDK I am working - google for PSPDFKit. We support iOS and Android.

HaverstHQ Chosen Picker Missing Down Arrow

I we use HaverstHQ Chosen Picker for our app and all of a sudden the down arrow on the drop down box has disappeared. See this pic: Picture of Problem
Any help appreciated!
EDIT:
So the app is a rails app, hosted on heroku, postgres backend and backbone front. We are using the plugin from HarvestHQ "Chosen", but the inverted arrow has disappeared from the right hand side of the drop down box. The drop down box still works. See picture for the best explanation.
I had a similar problem. My problem was the location of the chosen-sprite.png file. The png is referenced in the chosen.css file and the reference is relative to the location of that file. I moved the file to the same directory as chosen.css and the icons reappeared.

How does Chrome generate thumb views of URLs?

How does Chrome browser capture a thumbnail image of most visited URLs and show me over a blank page under Most visited??
I am interested in knowing how I would implement it using for my website or an extension.. to take take screenshot.
Lalith
I can only tell you how would I implement it. Once you would go to a site, I will add 1 to a counter if how many times you've entered it. If it's in the top 10, I would also take a screen shot of the site (chrome has a window in the class "Chrome_RenderWidgetHostHWND" which is the window that only contains the site, not the buttons and menus around it).
I can only guess it's not too far from what the guys in Google did.
If you want to write an extension that captures a screenshot of a current site then there is chrome.tabs.captureVisibleTab() method.
I think that it takes a screenshot from the last time you visited the page and saves it in the "Top Sites" SQLite database file that can be found in your profile folder.
