We have Sharepoint Communication Site in Sharepoint Server 2019 hosted on our premises. We have enabled the language feature and the site interface is now displayed in Arabic. However, we want to know the options of providing the Arabic version of content for the same page. For example, on the English site, English content is displayed and on the Arabic site, Arabic content is displayed. Any options to achieve it please?

My application uses IE=9 document mode thru X-UA-Compatible meta tag and some of application pages uses IE =5 as document mode. Our client moving from IE browser to Edge browser. Looks like edge browser doesn't support document mode defined thru X-UA-Compatible meta tag .Is there any way Edge browser can support IE5 document mode?
You can do it from the Edge browser side.
MS Edge (Chromium) browser comes with the IE mode feature.
IE mode on Microsoft Edge makes it easy to use all of the sites your organization needs in a single browser. It uses the integrated Chromium engine for modern sites, and it uses the Trident MSHTML engine from Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) for legacy sites.
You can configure IE mode by setting a group polices for the MS Edge browser.

Configure Internet Explorer integration
I suggest you enabled this policy and set its value to Internet Explorer mode.
Send all intranet sites to Internet Explorer
With the help of this policy, all intranet sites will be loaded in the IE mode in the MS Edge browser.
Configure the Enterprise Mode Site List
You can create sitelist.xml and pass the file address in this policy. You can create the sitelist.xml file manually. If you are not familiar with the content of this file then I suggest you download the Enterprise Mode Site List Manager (schema v.2). By using this you can easily create a site list and save it to an XML file by following File-> Save to XML.
while creating the site list using Enterprise Mode Site List Manager, you can choose the desired document mode or enterprise mode.

After applying the above policies, I try to launch the test site.
You can notice that the browser is MS Edge. Page got loaded in the IE mode and page loaded in the IE 5 mode.
Further, you can try to refer to the policies and make the necessary changes according to your requirement and try to make a test on your side.

I have a drupal site developed with panels, and I have a panel with different panes with visibility rules set by url string, and the browser history doesn't work as spected, What could be possible reasons?
Searching within project templates, I figured out that I have data-href instead normal anchors and these not push href to browser history.
Here I am facing a strange issue. I have developed a site in Kentico and have added en-US and sv-SE cultures to site. I have made us-EN as default content culture and I have set "Visitor Culture" to Automatic.
Wherever Visitor setting are there, I have set them to automatic.
In IE I have only sv-SE in language list. When I open the site in IE, It is not opening site in sv-SE culture. It is opening in en-US culture. I cleared cache, cleared browser .did everything but site is not opening using browser language setting.

i'm developing a sharepoint portal, and i want to force a portal culture to 'pt-PT', i already installed the moss and wss language packs and i changed the web.config too with the following statment: but if i set the browser language to other language the controls change their culture (this only occurs in portal frontoffice, in backoffice the culture is always pt). What i have to do to fix this problem?
You can write a HttpModule which will switch the culture of the executing HttpContext early in the page lifecycle.
BTW I'm just wondering what you mean when you say portal frontoffice vs backoffice.
I am using SharePoint Server 2007 Enterprise with Windows Server 2008 Enterprise, and I am using publishing portal template. I am using SharePoint Designer 2007 to design pages. When I open the default.aspx under Pages sub-folder of a site, there are two options -- Edit in Browser and Edit Page Layout. I want to know what are the differences between Edit in Browser and Edit Page Layout -- especially what is the function of Edit Page Layout, because when I select Edit Page Layout, WelcomeSplash.aspx opens in SharePoint Designer, other than default.aspx itself (very confused).

The page layout is default.aspx's backing "template". It holds the actual controls. Edit page layouts to move around controls etc. You can also create your own and bind them to content types.
Edit in browser basically means you edit the values of say the title control, or the content of a richtext fieldcontrol. This is usually done through sharepoint's front end web UI. You can also change a page's assigned pagelayout to a different one, i.e. have default.aspx use ArticlePage.aspx as pagelayout instead of WelcomeSplash.aspx. THis is done in the publishing console in the web ui as well.
