visualize hot spots within data sets, and to show patterns or correlations.

It's not a bug. Notice that the tickInterval in your case is 2, so the next label should be 'Hello-Yaxis-21' which is not defined - that's why Highcharts render the next value as a count number - it is the default behavior.

I need to change the name of a state in this map from the Highmaps map collection. Specifically, I need to change the name of the "Distrito Federal" to "CDMX". In the series data it is this point: ['mx-df', 10]. I've searched around for an answer, but am having trouble understanding how to do it. Anyone out there able to help?
Here's a link to a JSFiddle: https://jsfiddle.net/sstoker/81w2revu/
Here's the HTML:
<script src="https://code.highcharts.com/maps/highmaps.js"></script>
<script src="https://code.highcharts.com/maps/modules/exporting.js"></script>
<script src="https://code.highcharts.com/mapdata/countries/mx/mx-all.js"></script>
<div id="container"></div>
Here's the JavaScript:
// Prepare demo data
// Data is joined to map using value of 'hc-key' property by default.
// See API docs for 'joinBy' for more info on linking data and map.
var data = [
['mx-3622', 0],
['mx-bc', 1],
['mx-bs', 2],
['mx-so', 3],
['mx-cl', 4],
['mx-na', 5],
['mx-cm', 6],
['mx-qr', 7],
['mx-mx', 8],
['mx-mo', 9],
['mx-df', 10],
['mx-qt', 11],
['mx-tb', 12],
['mx-cs', 13],
['mx-nl', 14],
['mx-si', 15],
['mx-ch', 16],
['mx-ve', 17],
['mx-za', 18],
['mx-ag', 19],
['mx-ja', 20],
['mx-mi', 21],
['mx-oa', 22],
['mx-pu', 23],
['mx-gr', 24],
['mx-tl', 25],
['mx-tm', 26],
['mx-co', 27],
['mx-yu', 28],
['mx-dg', 29],
['mx-gj', 30],
['mx-sl', 31],
['mx-hg', 32]
];
// Create the chart
Highcharts.mapChart('container', {
chart: {
map: 'countries/mx/mx-all'
},
title: {
text: 'Highmaps basic demo'
},
subtitle: {
text: 'Source map: Mexico'
},
mapNavigation: {
enabled: true,
buttonOptions: {
verticalAlign: 'bottom'
}
},
colorAxis: {
min: 0
},
series: [{
data: data,
name: 'Random data',
states: {
hover: {
color: '#BADA55'
}
},
dataLabels: {
enabled: true,
format: '{point.name + }'
}
}]
});
And here's the CSS:
#container {
height: 500px;
min-width: 310px;
max-width: 800px;
margin: 0 auto;
}
.loading {
margin-top: 10em;
text-align: center;
color: gray;
}
You can change the displayed information in tooltip and data label by using formatter function:
series: [{
...,
dataLabels: {
enabled: true,
formatter: function() {
if (this.point['hc-key'] === 'mx-df') {
return 'CDMX';
}
return this.point.name;
}
}
}],
tooltip: {
pointFormatter: function() {
if (this['hc-key'] === 'mx-df') {
return 'CDMX: ' + this.value;
}
return this.name + ' ' + this.value;
}
}

suppose student has many projects and wants to upload that projects on web(system).
Now system wants to track or keep records of number of projects of that particular student.
Now system gives entire details about the projects of student(user)
like when project was uploaded, which day and month.
This data will be shown in the form of chart (like bubble chart).
There are three parameters
1) Y-axis
include week day's only. days will be constant. It'll not change irrespective of data (like input).
2) X-axis
include months only. months will be constant.It'll not change irrespective of data (like input).
3) Z-axis
include data from database.Data could be anything like number of projects(only digits).
Suppose I'm a student(user) and I upload project on Monday in the month of Jan.
Then on bubble chart it should display number of projects I have uploaded on which days of the week and month.
It is similar to GitHub chart where it gives all the details about the of user activities.
I have no idea from where to start.
I have tried various libraries for charts like chart.js,highchart.js....
I have tried this.

Is scrollbar not supported on the heatmap as of now?

As it is written in the Title i try to render a heatmap charts using highcharts.
I added a click event to change the color of one point when it is clicked.
But not all coordinates have data. As a result the points are not rendering correctly.
if i try to click the top left rectangle from the datalabel and below the wrong point is being colored.
Is this a bug?
Do i have to provide the whole set of coordinates in my data?
Here is a fiddle example of my problem
error example
(this doesn t apply to all scenarios where you don't the whole set of coordinates in your data. for example this works working example)

If there is any data with 0 in the heatmap it is not aligned.
Set some data to 0 in the heatmap. The data with value of 0 is not aligned. Is there anything we can do to align it?

It's a bug in 4.0.4 version, fixed on master branch: http://jsfiddle.net/yg0v13j6/1/
You can add:
format: '{point.value}',
to your dataLabels configuration and it will align the number properly.
I fixed the problem by upgrading from version 4.0.1 to version 4.2.5. So the error must have been fixed somewhere between those two versions. But it is not merely a bug in 4.0.4 (as it has been claimed) since I also experienced the problem in version 4.0.1.
Matheus Baumgart's fix about adding a format key to the JSON did not work for me.
