I need to disable for all users except site collection administrators, the banner that shows : this sharepoint site is running out of space.
I can't find a natif way to do this.
Is there somehow a way to do this from central administration ?
Thank you !

Is there a way to limit the verbs allowed by the TFS 2015 REST API?

Is it possible to allow only GET requests via the TFS 2015 REST API but still allow normal functionality through the Web interface and via Visual Studio?
More information:
Authentication and authorization are via Active Directory accounts, but we want to limit the operations that can be performed via the REST API only to retrieving, not changing, TFS data. A vendor has requested that we expose the REST API over the Internet, but management is reluctant unless it can be limited in this way. It may very well not be possible -- at least, my research has so far failed to turn up a solution -- but I want the opinions of people more experienced with TFS than myself.
No, this can't be achieved for Rest API. Seems you are searching for some settings or api just like a private permission only work for rest api and not effect web portal or visual studio.
Unless forbidden the related permissions of all area in TFS such as Tore suggested. For example: If the user can't change things through rest api and he should also can't do the same operation in web portal and VS.
The permissions are the same whether you connect through Visual Studio, the web interface, the REST API or any other client. So if the user is only part of the READERS group it can only retrieve whereas being a member of the CONTRIBUTORS group will allow you to change things.

Team Foundation Server 2015 - Allow anonymous access to Web Portal

Is it possible to allow anonymous access to the tfs web portal?
Would be nice to be able to allow users who are not logged inn to access /tfs/DefaultCollection/ProjectName/_dashboards and also preferably the information in the Work tab.
Tried adding the Everyone group in the Access levels tab. In the security tab for the collection and on the security tab for the project and also on the collection on the TFS server aswell as enabling Anonymous authentication on the IIS server but not having any luck.
Still getting a prompt to log on when trying to navigate to the dashboard and if I cancel that I get this error:
Error
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable.
TF400813: Resource not available for anonymous access. Client authentication required.

Is it possible to fix this?
No, TFS does not support anonymous access for now. Refer to the Q&A in this blog for details: https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/bharry/2015/02/23/vs-2015-ctp6-and-tfs-2015-ctp1-shipped-today/

#Karl, we don't currently have anonymous access in TFS 2015 but it's
been a hot topic lately. We're looking at how we could get it done
before too long.
I have not checked but do not think it is possible to day.
While you can go to IIS and enable Anonymous, TFS is designed in a way that each call to the server is tied to user previously authenticated.
I will not be surprised of a change in the future, because it is a limit for the service offered in VSTS; in fact you can only have private projects in today's VSTS. If this limitation is lifted in VSTS, we will get it for free in TFS.

SharePoint User swipe

I have a SharePoint site developed in MOSS 2007. My site is using SharePOint farm architecture which includes following servers in it
One Application server APP1
Two Database Server's mirrored (DB1,DB2)
Two Front End Server's (WFE1, WFE2)**
Recently we are receiving complaints from customer saying that when A user logging with his credentails and navigate to site, sub-sites in it. When he click on Home (Root site) Tab he certainly loose his active looged in session and he see the home page for another user with his access previllages.
Can some one tell me what is the root cause for this...?
Any help will be highly appriciated.
FYI: I have implemented caching to improve the performance of this site.
Thanks & Regards,
Sachin k
It seems to be the problem with setting of Load Balancer. Special care needs to be taken when SharePoint is load balanced under kerberos.
See:
http://sharepointspot.blogspot.com/2007/09/kerberos-load-balanced-web-sites.html
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/joelo/archive/2007/01/05/nlb-network-load-balancing-and-sharepoint-troubleshooting-and-configuration-tips.aspx
Specifically:
To manage session transfer:
Use ASP.NET SQL Session management so all sessions are recorded in a central location OR
Use affinity on the switch so that concurrent requests from a particular IP address within the same session go to the same target server

Hosting Microsoft Access 2010 in WPF or Windows Forms?

Is it possible to host microsoft access 2010 in WPF or Windows Forms as ActiveX or anything? I've seen DsoFramer examples but it's not supported from Microsoft and not to mention buggy. Some articles suggest using webBrowser but it's coupled with registry settings that I would not like to overwrite.
Interobility at that moment isn't that important than just to be able to load the access database in a parent window.
Do I have any options of doing that other than using webBrowser control?
Thank you.
Probably not the answer you want to hear but there are no really good solutions available for embedding Office apps/documents in WPF/Winforms anymore. DSOFramer was about the only real choice, but it's dead and the KB has been removed. A web browser control is also plagued with problems.
Although not confirmed to support Access 2010, the only solution I know of for embedding Office docs these days is http://www.officeocx.com/. It has had its share of problems too - rumor has it that it is based off of DSOFramer.
You can try to use Microsoft Sharepoint, and serve the access functionality remotely through an embedded browser frame. Check this video about it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dq-tDuPfgZc
There is a way. Amazon Web Services have a service called WorkSpaces. I've managed to host applications that give clients remote connection to their software that is not traditionally for the web. One of them was an accounting system. The other is an MS Access application.
I would be interested in knowing if Azure have a cheaper better solution, considering they own the product Windows Terminal Server. What I would really like to see on Azure is a windows container for MS Access.

SharePoint Search Service is not working

I am using SharePoint Server 2007 with collaboration portal template on Windows Server 2008. When I use the following function from Central Administration from Application Management -> search -> Manage Search Service, I met with the following error message, any ideas what is wrong?
The search service is currently offline. Visit the Services on Server page in SharePoint Central Administration to verify whether the service is enabled. This might also be because an indexer move is in progress.
thanks in advance,
George
This can happen for a variety of reasons. e.g. Search is infact moving/setting up the indexer, patch levels are different in the farm, etc. Rather than attempt to list all and their fixes, please see the links below:

I would suggest to start with the Event Logs on your Indexer. Also cross check your event logs with the Query servers.
Typically, if something is wrong, it would be logged there (or the ULS logs). But in this case start with the Event VWR... and reset search service on the indexer as well (using Service.msc)
