Getting below error while running Appium
Encountered internal error running command: Error: Cannot verify the signature of '/Applications/Appium Server GUI.app/Contents/Resources/app/node_modules/appium/node_modules/appium-uiautomator2-server/apks/appium-uiautomator2-server-v4.24.0.apk'. Original error: The JAVA_HOME location '$(/usr/libexec/java_home)' must exist
Had the same error a while ago, try using this on terminal.
xattr -cr "/Applications/Appium Server GUI.app"
codesign --deep --sign - /Applications/Appium\ Server\ GUI.app
it should solve the error, it did for me.

There are so many related issues but nothing solved my issue.
I can run the simulator without any issue, but when running on a real device I get this error
Encountered internal error running command: Error: Unable to launch WebDriverAgent because of xcodebuild failure: xcodebuild failed with code 65
I have done the manual config already.
My environments are :
appium - Version 1.17.1-beta.0
Xcode - Version 11.3.1 (11C504)
So far I have tried with appium versions:
1.13.0
1.15.0
1.15.1
1.17.0
1.17.0
I was able to build the WebDriverAgent to the device without any issue.
The log
If I run
xcodebuild -project WebDriverAgent.xcodeproj -scheme WebDriverAgentRunner -destination 'id=<udid>' test
I get the following result.
Testing failed:
WebDriverAgentRunner:

I am configuring CI for my IOS project on MAC yosemite-OS and got on problem:
error: /usr/bin/codesign --force --preserve-metadata=identifier,entitlements,resource-rules --sign /Users/mitul/Desktop/jenkins_ios_profile/PCertificates.p12 --resource-rules=/var/folders/rj/cc6d38nn53v6tk8y4jn7ghkr0000gp/T/42RbMszHQX/Payload/XXX.app/ResourceRules.plist /var/folders/rj/cc6d38nn53v6tk8y4jn7ghkr0000gp/T/42RbMszHQX/Payload/XXX.app failed with error 1
even my build and archive are getting success but not able to make .ipa file
even tried all possibilities from this
/usr/bin/codesign failed with exit code 1 but no luck
Please help me what I am missing to do
My Xcode configuration is as follows:
Custom xcodebuild arguments:
CODE_SIGN_RESOURCE_RULES_PATH=/Users/mitul/Public/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneOS.sdk/ResourceRules.plist
rest are all with default setting
I unchecked the code signing checkbox in jenkins project configuration and it started building, hope it can help some else too!
I'm trying to get grails version, but getting error all the time. OS: windows server 2012 and windows 8. I suspect that the port is busy, and I can't release it - need another exit from situation
So, I'm doing something like this in command line:
{PATH_TO_/bin/grails.bat} -version
The result is:
FATAL ERROR in native method: JDWP No transports initialized, jvmtiError=AGENT_ERROR_TRANSPORT_INIT(197)
ERROR: transport error 202: bind failed: Address already in use
ERROR: JDWP Transport dt_socket failed to initialize, TRANSPORT_INIT(510)
JDWP exit error AGENT_ERROR_TRANSPORT_INIT(197): No transports initialized [../../../src/share/back/debugInit.c:750]
So.. what can I do with it?
Thanks.
To resolve problem I've just set JAVA_OPTS
with
-Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_shmem,server=y,suspend=n

I already have Xcode and Xcode command line tools installed. Anyone fixed something like this before.
Realized that it was just some network configuration at work that must have been blocking the ports. Check your network permissions or try a different network.
You need to make sure this command can be run first:
sudo port -dv selfupdate
This can be temporary network problem - if it is not follow the displayed instructions.
I am trying to compile linphone-iphone module on Mac Mountain Lion. Xcode version 4.5.
I followed the steps given in the following link http://shallwelearn.com/blog/?p=6.
I successfully crossed upto step4.
In Step5, I executed the command
“make -f builder-iphone-simulator.mk all && make -f builder-iphone-os.mk all
&&make -f builder-iphone-os.mk delivery-sdk”
I got the following Error:
checking whether res_ndestroy is declared… yes
checking for antlr3… no
configure: error: Could not find antlr.jar. Please install antlr3
make[1]: *** [/Hub/SIP_Implementation/IOS/workspace/linphone-iphone/submodules/build/../build-i386-apple-darwin/belle-sip/Makefile] Error 1
make: *** [build] Error 2
So I downloaded the antlr.jar(version-3.5) and added classpath. But Still I am getting the same error.
Can anybody help me to fix this?
Finally I fixed the issue by executing “sudo port install antlr3″ command.
After executing this command, I execute the "make all". It is building without error
