SpeechRecognition doesn't work after debugging - kivy

I tried use SpeechRecognition with the follow function:
def on_listen():
r = sr.Recognizer()
with sr.Microphone() as source:
try:
print("Dites quelques choses...")
audio = r.listen(source, timeout = 4)
except:
print('Rien dit')
return
try:
text = r.recognize_google(audio, language = 'fr')
print(" Vous avez dit: " + text)
text = text
except sr.UnknownValueError:
print("On est mal à comprendre ce que vous avez dit !")
text = ''
except sr.RequestError as e:
text = ''
print("Besoin de connexion internet !")
return textenter code here

In my PC it works fine but after debugging it doesn't work

When you are compiling the app buildozer cannot find a recipe for pyaudio to compile and hence silently fails and skips over it. So in reality pyaudio is not even bundled into your apk and why you are getting that error. As of now there is no rescipe for pyadio and as for as I know no is one working on making one. You can attempt to make your own recipe of I would suggest to change your library for speech recognition.
How to make recipe:https://python-for-android.readthedocs.io/en/latest/recipes/
Other alternative to speed recog that work on android:https://plyer.readthedocs.io/en/latest/#plyer.facades.STT

Kivy app with plyer gps data doesnt recentre the map

I have a simple main app which on start calls the gps functionality of plyer and then gets the location from the android phone and then recentres my map to that location. The code looks something like this
main.py
from kivy.app import App
from mapcode import MapCode
from plyer import gps
class MainApp(App):
def on_start(self):
gps.configure(on_location=self.on_gps_location)
gps.start()
def on_gps_location(self, **kwargs):
print(kwargs)
latitude = kwargs['lat']
longitude = kwargs['lon']
map = MapCode()
map.recentremap(latitude, longitude)
gps.stop()
MainApp().run()
main.kv
#:include mapcode.kv
BoxLayout:
orientation: 'vertical'
MapCode:
id: MapCode
mapcode.py
from kivy_garden.mapview import MapView
from kivy.app import App
from kivy_garden.mapview import MapMarkerPopup
class MapCode(MapView):
def recentremap(self, lat, lon):
print("in recentre")
app = App.get_running_app()
print(app)
app.root.ids.MapCode.center_on(lat, lon)
mapcode.kv
#:import MapView kivy_garden.mapview
<MapCode>:
lat: 18.5204
lon: 73.8567
zoom: 13
on_zoom:
self.zoom = 13 if self.zoom < 13 else self.zoom
double_tap_zoom: True
on_lat:
lat = 18.5204
on_lon:
lon = 73.8567
MapMarkerPopup:
id:MapMarkerPopup
lat:18.5204
lon:73.8567
When I deploy this app on my phone, the app crashes by giving the following error:

When I move the line
app.root.ids.MapCode.center_on(lat, lon)
directly inside the on_start function of main. it works.
Was working with kivymd app in the beginning. Had some issues with it so replaced it with kivy app. but somehow no luck. I also have made changes as per kivy plyer gps not working after update to Android 12
and atleast now my gps works.

Docker Compose, Conda, and non-standard certificates

I'm having some difficulty figuring out how to run conda install ... in a Dockerfile, while referencing a non-standard certificates file. In my Dockerfile, I have:
RUN REQUESTS_CA_BUNDLE=/non-standard-certificates.pem conda update -n base conda -y
which appears to run fine. But then I have:
RUN REQUESTS_CA_BUNDLE=/non-standard-certificates.pem CURL_CA_BUNDLE=/non-standard-certificates.pem conda install -n base -c defaults -c conda-forge <list-of-packages>
which ends in:
CondaHTTPError: HTTP 000 CONNECTION FAILED for url <https://conda.anaconda.org/conda-forge/linux-64/current_repodata.json>
Elapsed: -
An HTTP error occurred when trying to retrieve this URL.
HTTP errors are often intermittent, and a simple retry will get you on your way.
'https://conda.anaconda.org/conda-forge/linux-64'
Can anyone see what is incorrect here?
Update:
I have since figured out that I should probably be using RUN conda config --set client_ssl_cert ..., and that the certificate file in question had Windows carriage-returns in it (which I removed with dos2unix), but now I'm getting a different error:
Step 7/29 : RUN conda update -n base conda -y

Errors with Dockerfile of Nighres Project (error with setup.py bdist_wheel for JCC python 3.7,...)

I am trying to install and use nighres from https://nighres.readthedocs.io/en/latest/installation.html
I started by the docker image installation image.
Below you find a link for my modified version of Dockerfile:
https://github.com/marsup13/MyStruggleWithAIM/blob/main/Dockerfile
I have made a lot of changes in the original Dockerfile (python version mainly).
The problem I have faced is when executing the following command from Dockerfile:
RUN sudo apt-get install -y jcc && \
python3.7 -m pip install --upgrade pip \
wheel \
JCC \
urllib3 \
jupyter \
nilearn \
sklearn \
nose \
matplotlib \
scipy
I got these errors (I am using Docker on Ubuntu 20.04).

Downloading language model in Spacy breaks in docker

So my docker file has the following line
RUN python -m spacy download en_core_web_sm
Which throws an error stating thinc module is not found.
So, I decided to add the following line above the previous line.
RUN pip install thinc
When I compile I get the following error.
Step 30/48 : RUN pip install thinc

Error in making python2.7 file executable with official py2app instructions on a hello word program

OSX 10.14 (Mojave)
python 2.7
py2app version = most recent as of Feb 11th 2019
I follow the official instructions found here:
https://py2app.readthedocs.io/en/latest/tutorial.html
I'm trying to get it to make a standalone for a 'hello world' program.
Everything works until the last step, which is 'python setup.py py2app'. I get the following error:
"Traceback (most recent call last):
File "setup.py", line 18, in
setup_requires=['py2app'],"
I did not modify the contents of the setup.py file, so they are as follows"
#
from setuptools import setup
APP = ['appp.py']
DATA_FILES = []
OPTIONS = {}
setup(
app=APP,
data_files=DATA_FILES,
options={'py2app': OPTIONS},
setup_requires=['py2app'],
)
#
Note that prior to this last step, I did indeed run 'rm -rf build dist' as instructed.
The error that I get is:
