JSON decoding double nested array in Swift - ios

currently I'm trying to decode JSON with a nested Array. The nested array can have some random numbers of the object inside it. I try to decode it but turns out it return an errors

Where do you decode the days key? That's the problem. You need an intermediate struct
struct Root : Decodable {
let itenaries : Itenary
}
struct Itenary : Decodable {

print(result.iternaries.days[0][0].itenary_id)

i'd probably do something like
struct Name:Codable {

so basically according the structure of your Json file
Root struct -> itenaries -> [[days]]

I butchered your struct and removed any irrelevant properties (compared to the json), if you want to add them back then you need to use an CodingKey enum

Json parsing Swift not getting print

I am new to Swift. I want to fetch some json data from the server using the url. I tried many other solutions but they didn't work. I want to print the duration key (text and value) from the array and then print it in console.

How to organise JSON Structs in an array

I have used JSON structs before and managed to get them working with a different API, but this API's JSON data is slightly different, it seems to encompass the data in an array called 'List'. I assume it is the Structs below that are in the incorrect format? As when I run the app, I don't get any error messages, but the Label value that I am trying to change, does not change, nor does the value of 'Test' get printed to the console. I am trying to call the Description value and print it to a label.

Your structs are were wrong before you edited the question.
The 5 day / 3 hour Forecast API of openweathermap.org sends a different JSON structure as the Current Weather Data.
You can create the structs very easy yourself:
Download the Data
Create a (JSON) string from the data
Copy the text
Open app.quicktype.io
Paste the text in the JSON text field on the left side
Add a suitable name for the root object.
quicktype.io creates the structs for you.
The forecast structs are (except Rain there are no optionals at all)

I am having a lot of trouble trying to decode this JSON with Swift 4.

Of course, you should properly handle the possible failures (i.e. don't do try!, and don't force-unwrapp the json.data()! part)
But the code above works and hopefully answers your question.

Swift 4.1 Decodable Can't decode nested array with nestedContainer

Trying to write a simple Swift 4.1 using Codable to parse json.

I am not sure what the issue is, as I am clearly (in my view) asking for an array of Weapons, but it thinks I am looking for a dictionary anyway.
Wondering if anyone has any insight as to what I am missing.
nestedContainers is only needed if you want to decode a sub-dictionary or sub-array into the parent struct – for example decode the weapons object into the Game struct – which is not the case because you declared all nested structs.
To decode the JSON you can omit all CodingKeys and the initializers, take advantage of the magic of Codable, this is sufficient:

I Have the same problem, JSONDecoder() only decode the first level of my JSON and then I solve this problem with commented these methods from the body of my class that extended from Codable
