Visual Studio auto populate parameters for a meted on hitting space - visual-studio-2019

I am having problems getting back my Visual studio settings back how it was before the change.
I had a Resharper installed but I am not sure if that is the feature that belongs to Resharper or VS.
a) I am looking for Visual studio to suggest the right parameters for a method when I click the space in a ().
DataAccess.CRUDAsync<XElement>("StoredProcedure", **space**)
space would give me the parameter that is needed deep to 2 layers for example:
CommandTypeEx.StoredProcedure
CommandTypeEx.Function
CommandTypeEx.Text

The issue has been resolved. That is definitely Resharper's functionality. My Resharper subscription has been expired and I just had to reactivate it. https://sales.jetbrains.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360001214539-How-to-Install-and-Activate-ReSharper-

Visual Studio 2019 16.9.4: ThreeState for collapsing and expanding summary

I encountered today that with one of the latest releases of Visual Studio, it seems that the collaps / expand function now has a third state for the summary block.
When I expand the '#region Methods' (see pictures) all methods are displayed only with three dots [...]
Why aren't the method names displayed anymore as it was before?
Is it possible to have it the old way again?
Is there a setting?
I already tried to find a setting for it in the options, but couldn't find any when searching for the following words:
collaps
expand
summary
threestate
This seems to be a small bug in Visual Studio.
After I restarted Visual Studio, the behaviour is gone.
(Obviously I should have done that before asking questions...)

Problem using the Find References (Inno Setup) feature in Visual & Installer

Let us say that I want to find all instances of where AddFileForDownload in used in my script to Visual & Installer in Visual Studio.
When I do it to usual way:
And it produces results as I expect:
But when I try to use the bespoke feature in Visual & Installer:
I end up with this:
If I drag the pane out it then looks like this:
I am using:
Visual Studio 2019 (16.6.2)
Visual & Installer (1.0.4.8)
This is an issue in VS 2019 which is caused by blocking any extension from synchronously autoloading since 16.1, see: https://devblogs.microsoft.com/visualstudio/updates-to-synchronous-autoload-of-extensions-in-visual-studio-2019/
In V&I this applies to Suggestions (Light Bulb actions - Add File(s) / Add Folder into script) and the References window. Both must be reworked/fixed for VS 2019.
The Suggestions are already done and we are currently working on the References window.
Both will be ready in next V&I release.
Update 27-11-2020: The transparent (blank) controls in References windows are caused by changes in .net DPI awareness: https://blog.jetbrains.com/dotnet/2019/06/11/blank-tool-windows-resharper-visual-studio-2019-net-framework-4-8-per-monitor-dpi-awareness/
Temporary solution is to uncheck Optimize rendering for screens with different pixel densities via Tools | Options, then Environment | General.
Update 2020-11-30: Today we have released an updated version of this tool where we have fixed this issue (it is necessary to reinstall the extension in Visual Studio 2019).
See the details and get latest version from official website: http://visual-installer.com/changelog.html#10410

how to display an MVC View's path in visual studio

It is extremely common for my views to have similar names but vary only by their parent directory (which is the name of the controller). In other words, I use the default patterns handed to us by the benevolent MVC overlords.
I've always found it annoying to see 3 different tabs named List.cshtml, however. I would rather see Employee\List.cshtml, Product\List.cshtml, etc.
Somehow, today, I got this very desired result in Visual Studio, but I have no friggin idea how I did it. Opening any other view results in only showing the file name. So, how the hell can I do this regularly and consistently?
It doesn't have anything to do with the active tab. I'm using VS2013 Ultimate. I do not have Powertools or Web Essentials installed right now but would be willing to if it meant I could see the tab on the left all the time.
FWIW, I closed the Move.cshtml tab and when I opened it back up the path disappeared.
EDIT:
Well. I now remember what was different about that file... my computer crashed (BSOD) and Visual Studio asked me if I wanted to recover my changes to Move.cshtml. That has to be why it is there. I am disappoint.

How do you stop visual studio 2012 trimming white space on save

this is really giving me headaches, ever since I installed the last update pack, visual studio[2012] keeps removing white space at the end of each line when I save a file.
it's fine if I'm working on personal projects, but not when working on team projects where code changes are reviewed that gives reviewers hard time for so many changes made turn out to be white spaces
I can't find any settings that turns this off, there're some posts online mentioning about injecting a piece of macro in the IDE to stop this from happening. Seriously? I can't believe Microsoft delivers such a bad feature that there's no way to turn it off...
can anyone here help me out please?
please note it's Visual studio 2012

Can ReSharper always jump to view's .cshtml in ASP.NET MVC project instead of asking me?

I'm talking about this menu, which appears when I press Ctrl+B:
In 99.99% I want to see a .cshtml, could it be made a default option (so that resharper would open the file without asking)?
I don't know if it comes with Visual Studio or ReSharper but there is a shortcut named Go to View.
CtrlM + CtrlG
Maybe not the answer you are looking for but it's quite useful.
So, the answer is: there is no such feature in ReSharper yet (I posted an issue and they added it to 8.1 backlog).
