Visual Studio 2019 Class Dropdown is Auto-Syncing immediately after selection - visual-studio-2019

Running Visual Studio 2019 Community Edition. Recently updated to version 16.10.1
Now when I make a selection in the Class dropdown in the Navigation bar at the top of the text editor, it immediately syncs with the view and reverts the selection to the Class and Method that is under the current caret position. So essentially it ignores my selection and reverts back to what was previously selected. It has eliminated the 'Navigation' functionality of the 'Navigation bar'.
It seems to coincide with the recent update.
I've searched through options to see if this is an option that got turned on by accident, but no luck.
Is this an option that can be disabled? Or is this a new bug? Has anybody else seen this behavior?

Found that this is a known issue with version 16.10.
Reverted back to 16.9.8 and is now working again.
Could not find a way to download a previous version of Community Edition so had to upgrade to Professional.

I watched the video and I think I know what's going on.
There are two types of behavior:
Jump to class declaration (the middle drop-down); and,
Jump to member function declaration (right drop-down).
Jump to class declaration: Only works in header files and allows you to jump to each class's declaration.
Jump to member function declaration: Only works in implementation files, but you can jump to any member function you want for any class. However, only selecting a class from the middle drop-down just populates the right drop down of the selected class' functions and types. You must then select a function you want to jump to in the right drop-down for the cursor to actually move.
Curiously, the Visual C++ workspace makes this obvious as when you change the selection in the middle drop-down the right drop-down clears itself; forcing you to pick a function to jump to in the right drop-down if you want to use the feature. The VB workspace doesn't seem to do this.

Why does TSynEdit not detect Tab key pressed?

This is my first question, I hope it will be a well constructed one.
I'm currently using Delphi 10.4 Community Edition and I installed SynEdit through the GetIt Package Manager.
The problem I'm facing is the following: I created a VCL form, dropped a TSynEdit in it and launched the application. The problem is that if I press the TAB or SHIFT+TAB, nothing happens. I tried to put breakpoints in the following methods of TSynEdit:
CommandProcessor
ExecuteCommand
DoTabKey
and the debugger never enters them while pressing those keys.
I then looked at the Keystrokes property of my TSynEdit control and, although the keystroke for TAB is defined, I think that the shortcut is "fake". What I mean is that if I try to modify what is associated to the ecTab command and manually choose the shortcut value, nor Tab or Shift+Tab are present in the listbox.
Did anyone ever experienced a problem like this? If so, how did you manage to solve it?
PS: Indentation works with other shortcuts, such as CTRL+SHIFT+I/U.
As indicated by Keith Miller, it was as simple as setting to True the property WantTabs for the TSynEdit control.
Still, if anyone knows why the TAB and SHIFT+TAB shortucts don't appear in the listbox of selectable shortcuts, please let us know.

Deleting style elements from a style in Delphi Firemonkey

For the life of me, i can't seem to figure out how to delete primitive or control elements from a style with in the style designer of Delphi. What am I missing? I have tried right clicking everything i could find and no option surfaces. I tried looking for a panel that isn't enabled. Can't seem to find one. As of now, I have to edit the actual text and reload it, in order to delete a style element.
Delphi XE6
Delphi 10.1 Berlin
EDIT UPDATE:
How do I get this window to appear in either IDE?
EDIT UPDATE:
Looks like there is a very small button on top left of structure pane that does the trick. I will leave question open for someone to answer with any other way. If no one can, Ill post the answer and accept it.
To delete a style element (tested on Delphi 10.1 Berlin)
Right-Click the element in the Structure view to get a popup menu.
Select Edit - Delete
Or use the button (doc with red X) immediately above the structure tree.
Thanks to John, I can confirm that in XE4 .. XE7 the popup menu doesn't have the Edit menu, so the only means left is the delete button, mentioned above.
The third image (in your edit) is not familiar. Where did you get the image? Perhaps a third party style editor. Possibly not intended to be incorporated in the IDE.

How i can see in-brower version of XCode reference? Wanna see list of methods

I'm very like lists of methods in web version of reference.
But in Xcode I can't (at least by default) see this beautiful lists.
Can I change style of Xcode built-in reference? Make it show me in-browser version?
in-browser
in-xcode
Well you can't make "it show me in-browser version", but you can get a list down the side:
Note that the fourth icon in the title bar is selected to get the contents.
To open all the subsections you click on the first disclosure triangle, the NSWindowCntroller line, that will collapse everything. Then option-click on it and everything will be expanded.
The divider between the contents list and the content can be dragged, so you can widen the contents list to see the full method names if you wish.
You can click on any entry to jump to that section, but it might not be smooth or fast – you will probably see the Xcode viewer re-parsing the source file! Older versions of Xcode were better, it's since been "improved"...

How to restore/clear form position after multi-monitor setup change

Within the IDE, when F12 toggles between code and form,
the forms are displayed outside the monitor borders,
and therefore not visible.
This happens after a multi monitor setup has changed,
and the forms no longer open within the available new monitor screen areas.
One way to resolve this is to use the property inspector and
set the Top/Left properties to 4 to make the forms visible.
This is however a lot of work,
especially if many forms and possibly many projects are involved.
Is there a better way to reset the form locations once and for all,
so they are all visible with the new monitor setup?
There is nothing (AFAIK) in Delphi 6 IDE that would help. But assuming you are using Windows, the help is near, (tested on Windows 7):
Right-click on taskbar and select 'Cascade windows', this affects all windows in one go.
or
Alt-Tab to the window, press Alt-Space and then M (for move). Move the window with the arrow keys. This you would have to do seperately for each window.
Close your Delphi IDE. Then, if your current project group file is xyz.groupproj, open the file xyz.dsk with an text editor. Look for section [UndockedDesigner] entry "Count" and change its value to zero.
[UndockedDesigner]
Count=0
That will force all design window positions to 0,0 on your main monitor.

Xcode 5.1 method search only allows one character?

I've recently upgraded to Xcode 5.1 and I'm experiencing the most annoying bug. The instant search or method search dialog that allows you to search the methods on the given source file you are looking at isn't allowing me to enter more than one character. I have large source files and I tend to rely on that a lot. Any idea why this might be happening. I've tried re-installing Xcode (simply be dragging it in the trash).
You can find the search field I'm talking about by clicking the method as shown in the screenshot and simply typing something.
When I type the character gets replaced with the last letter entered.
(This one's just informational: I don't think it will fit in a comment, and want to report on what suggestions worked and didn't.)
I ran into this same problem. I accidentally typed some other key combo when trying to do Ctrl+6 to open the Document Items dropdown, and it was all out of whack after that.
As clance_911 mentioned, the filtering would work after clicking in the search box. So for example, to filter for "init", I could hit Ctrl+6 to open the Document Items, type "i" to start filtering (but then any subsequent letters would replace the i), click into the search text box, and continue typing the "nit". This works, but it's a pain.
As Moze pointed out, this seems to be specific to external displays. Sure enough, it worked fine on my MacBook display, but if I moved Xcode over to the external display, it stopped working. In my case, dragging the menu bar in the display Arrangements settings (to make the external monitor the main display) did solve the problem: the filter worked correctly with Xcode in either window. Sorry, Etienne :-(
The other solution that worked for me was simply closing the MacBook: use it in clamshell mode with only the external display. This is my normal setup anyway, but I know that's not ideal for everyone.
It happens if Xcode is open in external display that is not main display.
To fix it, open display setting's Arrangement tab and drag menu bar to display that you are working on.
