How to change the "Publisher display name" of an extension on Microsoft Edge Add-ons? - microsoft-edge

I have an extension on Microsoft Edge Add-ons. I have a question about changing the "Publisher display name". I want to change the language of my "Publisher display name".
What is the right way to do that?
Will it be an additional round of
review?

To Update your Publisher display name or address on Partner Center:
Go to Settings, Account settings and select Organization profile.
Select Legal and then select the update next to Contact Info you want to update.
Click on Save to confirm and change the details.
Once you change any of your contact details such as Publisher display name (Company name), the Microsoft Edge extension team may verify your account again, especially if you have a company account.
Your verification status returns to Pending while the review is in process. The verification process ranges from a few days to a couple of weeks, and your company may receive a phone call from our verification partner.
To reflect the changes on the Edge add-ons though, you will need to submit an update, either the package update or metadata update, to your extension on Partner Center.
Hope this information helps! Thank you!

Apple Pay :Is it possible to get name on card which is selected by user from apple pay tray?

I am working on Integrating Apple Pay in my app. I need following details to post to api :
1. Name on the card,
2. last 4 four digits,
3. type of card (VISA, AMEX etc)
Is there a way to retrieve those from the card selected by user in Apple Pay tray ?
You cannot get the name on the card via ApplePay. This is one of the reasons why a lot of merchants have resisted it. But Apple did this to protect users' privacy: you should be able to buy something without telling someone your name. If someone doesn't know your name then how can they identity fraud you?
If you want the customer's name, ask them, or have employees check their ID and require that the name be entered into the system. If you can't be asked to bother asking the customer to identify themselves, then, since the customer has not voluntarily given you their name, why do you deserve to have it?

Connecting Apple ID to multiple iTunes Connect

I'm not sure if this question already exists, since I'm not exactly sure what to search for.
So here's the deal:
I have an Apple Dev account linked to the email ash#ashmenon.com. I've worked on an app in the member center, and I've also got an iTunes Connect account connected to this same Apple ID.
Right now I'm working on an app (Super Marvel App) as part of a team (let's call it Team Marvel) My Apple ID has been added to that team, as an 'Admin'. So when I go into the member center, the MC asks me which organisation I want to choose (my own, or Team Marvel).
However, the agent for this team was unable to add my Apple ID in iTunes Connect, as it belongs to an existing dev account. So what we did was to add a plus-suffixed version of my email, in this case 'ash+marvel#ashmenon.com'.
Problem is, I'm the developer for the team, not the agent (he's non-tech), so any archiving, submission, validation, and exporting comes from my XCode. But when I try and submit/validate my archived app, it tells me that my organization does not have permission to submit this application. (not sure if this is important, but the name of the organisation it displays during this error is not the same as the name of the development team that I selected earlier in the submission process.
I tried adding the ash+marvel#ashmenon.com address as one of the Apple ID accounts in XCode, but it tells me 'Error Fetching Developer Info'. I presume this is because the account in question is not an actual Apple Dev account.
For now I've worked around the process by submitting via Application Loader, but it feels like I'm hacking the system somewhat.
QUESTION 1:
Is there a proper way of doing this that I'm missing out? Gut instinct tells me that this hack-esque workaround is going to bite me in the backend later on.
QUESTION 2:
Is the Team Marvel agent required to do all iTunes Connect submissions himself? This seems like a very counter-intuitive approach considering this is Apple we're talking about.
Any assistance is much appreciated. Stay awesome, you guys.
NOTE:
Names of applications and teams have been changed for privacy reasons, and because Marvel is infinitely cooler than anything else.
UPDATE: Do not use this approach any more. Apple has finally fixed iTunes Connect, Developer Center and Xcode to properly handle one Apple ID for multiple organizations. Add the same Apple ID to as many organizations in both systems as you need.
I believe there is finally a way to make this work while preserving your sanity in Xcode 6.3.2.
The main trick is to make sure that your iTunes Connect account and Member Center account Apple id's are the same for any particular organization. It looks like Xcode assumes that and tries to use the Member Center Apple ID to access iTunes Connect.
So, as mentioned in the question, make sure and use a "+folder" style of email address to avoid creating and managing a whole bunch of real email accounts. But here's the crucial part - add that "+folder" style account to Member Center (i.e. invite the "+folder" account) for that organization and remove your plain Apple ID if you were using it there.
I.e. don't use Member Center's ability to associate multiple organizations with one account. That will just confuse Xcode if you also need to access multiple iTunes Connect accounts. Use one "+folder" account for each organization you are working with and add that Apple ID to both iTunes Connect and Member Center.
As far as I know, that's the way it is. iTunes Connect is not linked to Member center, and unlike Member center, it cannot handle multiple accounts per email. I'm on the same boat as you. Always need to save an IPA file and submit from Application Loader. Wish we could select the proper iTunes Connect account

Can't find the new iOS Developer Program License Agreement I need to sign

A few weeks ago, I got this message when logging in itunesconnect.apple.com. I tried signing it back then, didn't find it and kind-of postponed the issue until later.
Well, later is now and I need to sign it to create a new app.
Review the iOS Developer Program License Agreement
The iOS Developer Program License Agreement has been updated. To create new apps and upload binaries to the App Store, the user with the Team Agent role must review and accept this agreement in Member Center.
Review the iOS Paid Applications Agreement
The iOS Paid Applications Agreement has been updated. To create new apps and upload binaries to the App Store, the user with the Legal role must review and accept this agreement in the Contracts, Tax, and Banking module.
To accept this agreement, the user with the Team Agent role must have already accepted the iOS Developer Program License Agreement in Member Center.
Unfortunately I can't find anywhere in the Member Center this new agreement to sign. I am the Team Agent
Has anybody encountered the same problem, or should I go ahead and call apple support?
That happened to me as well, but it was under Contracts, Tax, and Banking. You had to push a button that said request, or something like that, and check a box. Once you do that, it may take a few seconds to update, but you should be good to go.
First you have to Sign in to Member Center
https://developer.apple.com/membercenter/index.action#agreements
Check if you have accepted all the agreements.
Second:
Goto - https://itunesconnect.apple.com/WebObjects/iTunesConnect.woa/ra/ng/
or https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/WebObjects/iTunesConnect.woa/ra/ng
(Thanks for sharing Sikandar Khan)
You will see a warning sign once you login. It will say which module has to be accepted eg: (Agreements, Tax, and Banking module).. Click on the respective module icon.
It will request Amendments - On the right side of each amendment you will see a blue icon named "Request". Click on that, it wil show the agreement. Click on Agree.
Then it will move under "Master Agreements" to "Contract in Process":
You will have to Setup the required infos eg: Contact, Bank and Tax as per the agreement.
Once you have filled in the details, it will move to Contracts In Effect.
First Step
Second Step
Third Step
Final Step
We had a similar problem when our Team Agent tried accessing the Member Center from a PC, and couldn't find the agreement. When we looked in Safari, it was there.
When you see this error:
You need to access the URL: http://developer.apple.com/membercenter/index.action via Safari.
(I didn't see the following on Chrome):
I had exactly the same problem today, in spite of all my research, impossible to publish following this update of conditions of use ... It is finally a phone call to the support Apple that solved the problem:
There was a "bug" on the account following a transfer of the role "team agent". He solved the problem on his side in 2 minutes, so my advice => https://developer.apple.com/contact/phone/
I faced the same issue,
Login to your iTunes account, go to the "Agreements, Tax, and Banking" section, You will see the Request Amendments, there will be request button, click it.
It will take you to the agreement screen, where you will be able to accept the agreement.
Doing this once, you will not be seeing the warnings in you iTunes account again.
2022 answer
go to
https://developer.apple.com/membercenter/index.action#agreements and accept agreement
try again and it will work fine
You just need to accept the latest agreement which will automatically popup at the top right corner.
I faced the same issue, none of the above worked in Safari, untill........
I used Firefox!!
Success 😏
I couldn't see the button until I used Safari (was using Brave).

iOS company name for distributing apps to App Store

I've had a look around SO and Google but can't find a definite and specific answer, maybe it's supposed to be obvious!
But, I haven't submitted an app to the store before so when I went to add one through iTunes Connect, the first thing it says is
Specify the company or developer name to display on the App Store for your apps.
The company name cannot be changed, so be sure to enter the correct name.
Now, does setting that company name apply to ALL apps I upload after setting it or does it ask you this question and let you set it every time you add a new app?
If it sets it for all apps, does it have to match the company name I've used to register my iOS developer account with? When I created the account I gave the name Company Ltd, so would I strictly have to use Company Ltd when setting the company name to be displayed on the App Store?
Many thanks.
Normally the company name will (and can) not change after it is set (well they can do it but they request a load of legal papers and stuff).
However, if you indeed run a company that should not matter and you should already know what you are doing. You have to be careful though, as if you pretend to be a company and you are not (e.g. as individual developer), you might run into legal issues which can cause some trouble to say the least (even if you "only" plan to release free apps).
In iTunes Connect, when you add a new application, they specify :
"[...] name to display on the App Store for your app*s* [...]"
apps is plural, so it means it's for all this account's apps.
You cannot do it online, you have to request apple to do is, by calling them.
To request a migration of your individual developer membership to a company developer membership, first make sure that you meet our initial migration requirements:
You have an active individual developer program membership.
Your company does not operate as a sole proprietorship, DBA, fictitious name, trade name, or branch.
You are a founder or cofounder of your company.
You have authority to bind your company to Apple Developer Program agreements.
Your company does not already hold an active or expired company membership.
If you have paid apps, you have agreed to the latest Paid Apps contract in the Contracts, Tax, and Banking module of iTunes Connect.
You are able to obtain a DUNS number for your company: https://developer.apple.com/support/D-U-N-S.
If you do not meet our migration requirements, you may use a separate Apple ID to enroll your company in an Apple Developer Program.
To proceed with your migration request, contact apple by phone (https://developer.apple.com/contact/phone) or send them an email with the following information:
Confirm that you meet the initial migration requirements listed above.
Provide the name of the company to which you would like to migrate your individual membership.
After your information has been reviewed and accepted, they will send you an email with instructions for completing the migration. During this process, you will be unable to access the Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles portal.
If you need to update your individual bank information, do so before you start the company migration.
Hope this helps.

Apple Application Submission - Unable to fill Tax Info (Non-US Resident)

I did below for submitting TAX -
Submitted "NO" on - Are you a U.S. citizen, U.S. resident, U.S. partnership, or U.S. corporation?
Submitted "NO" on - Do you have any U.S. Business Activities?
on Next Page I am unable to change following details:
1.Individual or Organization Name &
2. Country of incorporation & 3. Permanent Residence
please help me on how can I modify these because the information in above colums is not correct. I need to change them, where does apple picks up these informations.
My applications is complete and I am stuck because of just this single step.
Thanks in advance
This isn't as easy as it should be, but if you have already entered tax information and wish to change it, you have to make a request to Apple via email, and they will tell you exactly what forms you'll have to fill out. I recently went through this (in the U.S.) to convert my personal account into a business account, and I'd imagine the process will be similar for you.
The Permanent Residence panel on the tax forms is not editable because it uses information from Dun & Bradstreet. It has the address when you originally requested a DUNS number
I suspect the other two details also come from the D&B record. If all three are wrong you may have the wrong DUNS details linked to your Apple ID.
You need to contact them directly - I just went through this on the phone with Apple Developer support and was advised to directly email appdeveloper#dnb.com
