Problems creating a new project in Watson Studio - watson-studio

I want to create my first project in Watson Studio; however, I can not do it because when I click on the "Create" bottom I receive the following message "Unable to configure credentials for your project in the selected Cloud Object Storage instance". Does anyone know what this means?
Thanks,

You need to be IBM Cloud account Administrator or Owner if you are using shared account within your organization.
If you are not account Administrator, you should ask account administrator to enable storage delegation for cloud object storage service used for project so that non-administrator users under that account can create project using that Cloud Object storage service.
Please check this documentation link:-
https://dataplatform.cloud.ibm.com/docs/content/wsj/getting-started/projects.html?audience=wdp
(See Requirements section).
https://dataplatform.cloud.ibm.com/docs/content/wsj/console/wdp_admin_cos.html?audience=wdp
There are also chances that this may be a temporary issue caused by some intermediate problem for IBM Cloud IAM service as this project creation attempts to create credentials for the storage service(IBM Cloud Object storage) you select, so you as account owner may also run into this issue. In such case, please reach out to IBM Support.

Unable to register app (iOS app) on Azure portal

I am following the link to integrate One Drive SDK into an existing iOS app. I have an free account created on azure portal. Its a work account so I can see a default Azure Active Directory.
During this process, I need to register the app on the Azure portal. This link for registering apps and generating app ID does not work in my case.
I am unable to create an app ID or access existing active Azure Directory details. The portal shows me restricted access page as mentioned in this link : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/352443/microsoft-azure-free-trial-no-access-to-acitive-di.html. The solutions mentioned in this link does not work for me as those options are not seen on the screen.
Any kind of help in understanding the trouble will be of great help!
This might be due to insuffient permissions as this is a free trial account.
Go to your Overview pane of your subscription and check if there are any directories present.
If not try creating a free trial account using a Work or school account and there you will be provided with a default directory. Then Create new Azure AD Tenant and then Connect your Azure free subscription to your new Azure AD Directory.

How to Stream logs from Azure Web Apps without signing into the Azure portal?

I have my .Net apps hosted in Azure Web Apps. Is there any way that I can stream/view the application/server log traces directly using without signing into the portal.
The reason why I need this is because, My contains the fellow developers who will not be having access to the Azure portal.
Please help if any solution for this. Thanks in Advance.
I have tried enabling the log streaming inside the Azure portal. But that doesn't meet my requirement.
Also tried storing the logs to the Azure storage account. But cannot find any opensource tools to fetch and read the logs. And feels this as a time consuming solution.
Mohit's recommendations are great and probably the best advice, however:
I have a suggestion which does not fulfil the requirement of not having a role in Azure, but may offer such an advantage that it could be worth it. Using the Azure CLI you can stream out the logs:
az webapp log tail --name appname --resource-group myResourceGroup
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/app-service/troubleshoot-diagnostic-logs#streamlogs
You may be able to setup a role with sufficient constraints that all the developer can do is read the diagnostic logs:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/platform/roles-permissions-security
Also if you are not familiar with it, I'd suggest looking at Azure Application Insights, it does not have the super low level logs, but likely sufficient for diagnosing issues that a developer would typically run into. And has many advanced features that make it far easier to diagnose things than looking at log files.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/app/app-insights-overview
Simplest way to achieve that is to use storage account and container for application and diagnostic logging.
To enable diagnostics for your Azure web app, you can do the following:
Log in to your account at https://portal.azure.com/.
Go to your Azure Web App and select Settings > Diagnostics logs.
For Application Logging (Blob), click On and set the parameters.
Set the Level for the logging.
For Storage Settings, click > and select the Storage Account and Container.
This is the Storage Account and Container that Azure will use to store logs for the Web App. Make note of this information because you will need it to set up a log collection job in USM Anywhere. You can click + Storage Account to create a new storage account or container, or select an existing one.
For Web server logging, select Storage.
Click Storage Settings and select the same storage account and container that you set for the application logging.
Once done then you can share the Azure storage container using SAS shared access signature.
SAS will having a URI which will have the predefined access on the container, By this way you will be able to see logs without accessing Azure portal.
A shared access signature (SAS) is a URI that allows you to specify the time span and permissions allowed for access to a storage resource such as a blob or container. The time span and permissions can be derived from a stored access policy or specified in the URI. We’ll cover both of these in detail later.
You can refer below docs for reference.

Hope it helps.

Why can't I see Connections options in Watson Analytics?

I'm an administrator of a Watson Analytics account. I deal with a huge amount of data that usually comes from a .csv file. The developers of the website where I get the .csv file shared with me a link to a Dash DB with all data, so I could connect my Watson Analytics to it. I researched about how to do that connection, but I found out that when I access my account settings I can't find the option for connections.
As I said, I'm the administrator of the account, so I don't understand why I can't access connections. Is necessary to have a special account to get that option in settings?
Thank you in advance!
The Data Connections panel is no longer available in the Account Settings pages.
To quote the announcement,
The new Data Connection process utilizes an IBM tool called Data Refinery. Unlike the previously used tool, Data Refinery will not be embedded in Watson Analytics. This means that administrators will need to register their IBM id with IBM Data Refinery outside of Watson Analytics, then when ready, will use this tool to initiate the ‘Data Flow’ from the relational database in question to Watson Analytics via IBM Data Refinery.

Where to store p12 key for service account authentication in MVC app using Google Drive API

I'd like to create an MVC app in Visual Studio that connects to Google Drive via a service account.
Right now, I'm trying to understand the documentation and examples here:
https://developers.google.com/api-client-library/dotnet/guide/aaa_oauth#service_account
In that documentation, it gives an example for how to connect to the Google API using a service account credential (see the section titled "Service account". The example creates a certificate object with this line:
var certificate = new X509Certificate2(#"key.p12", "notasecret", X509KeyStorageFlags.Exportable);
Where is the "key.p12" file actually stored? (to be clear, I know how to download the file from google -- I'm asking where it goes in source control and on the server once I deploy).
I'm using VisualStudio -- how should I have the key.p12 file deployed with the rest of the application when I publish?
I assume the secret "notasecret" should be updated and secured. How do I update this secret and how do I pass it securely without hard coding it in my application?
Very new to this so please let me know if any of my questions don't make sense.
Thank you!

QBO, QBD, API and app authorization

It drives me crazy, please help.
I want to integrate QuickBooks Enterprise 2014 with my website.
I managed to create app via developer center.
I managed to sync data using Sync Manager.
I managed to see synced data i my appcenter account (company file).
I managed to implement OAuth authorization with QuickBooks connect button
I managed to use api explorer V3QBD (even though they say it's deprecated) to access synced data
now...
there is no option to choose desktop company file when authorizing... there is only a message saying I need QuickBooks Online subscription.
I don't want to subscribe to QBO, I want to access a company file synced via SyncManager.
Is it still possible ?
I read that you need to set your app to use desktop data source, but this option is not available anymore?
After one week of investigation I couldn't find answers to that, but one "you need to use web connector", is this true ?
please, confirm
thanks ahead
Unless you have been grandfathered in, you can not use sync manager and access QBD data through the API's. You will need to use the QBXML SDK and web connector for accessing desktop data.
