Error with Slick Module when clearing cache during installation - docker

Has anyone run into this before?
I am doing a local install of Drupal 8 with docker and composer. I'm on a Windows machine using WSL. When I clear the cache (drush cr), I get this error:
Service "slick.manager": Parent definition "blazy.manager.base" does not exist.
Both Slick and Blazy modules and libraries are present. When I try to go to the site it says "The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later."
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just uninstall the slick module, load the site, install blazy, then enable the slick module again. It's an "ordering" issue due to a new dependency.
See; https://www.drupal.org/project/slick/issues/2702241
It's a bit of a workaround but it should solve your problem.
If this isn't the issue, then please update your question with the output of;
drush pml --status=enabled
(Just for the two modules if you don't wish to copy everything here).

iisnode 7.x (64x) full Setup install fails with a message saying a script could not be run

As a result of a question I wrote a little earlier I person was kind enough to write an answer. He suggested installing iisnode to fix a problem where node.js was in the path but docker couldnt find it.. However, on his suggestion I downloaded iisnode for iis 7.x(x64) and proceeded to run it... and with the luck I am having I got the following error..
There was a problem with this Windows Install package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.
I have no idea how to solve this.. any ideas.. I have entered docker for this as I suspect this problem has occured for others when they tried to run a dotnet core SPA project...
Sorry my bad English!
I had this issue while i was working with "Plesk" but maybe my solution works for you or others.
First you should go to "C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv\config".
Make a backup of "applicationHost.config" somewhere.
Then remove every line that contains "iisnode" in that file.
Then try to install "iisnode" again. if it does not work, restart your OS and try again.
If it does not work again, restore your backup and restart your OS and i don't know how you can fix it, Sorry :((

Neos CMS installation 500 error: Specified path not found

I tried to install Neos CMS local under Windows 10 with a Wamp Apache Server. After creating the project with a composer and registering the Vhosts, I tried to run neos.demo/setup. Then I get an 500 internal server error with the message "Specified path not found”, for more information, take a look at the screenshot.
I checked the solutions for the exception code 1355480641, but nothing can solve my problem.
Thanks for your recommendations!
do you have set Neos.Flow.core.phpBinaryPathAndFilename in Configuration/Settings.yaml to the correct php.exe binary path?
This is not an actual solution, this is more of an alternative.
I was having troubles installing neos on windows 10 as well (not the same as you though), a really nice solution that I would recommend as alternative to wamp is bitnami-neos.
I got the same error in the current version of Neos CMS (v4.1). The solution to the problem was for me:
Adjust Configuration/Settings.yaml with the php.exe path (which you already did)
Launch an administrator cmd
Go to the Neos CMS directory
Run flow flow:core:compile
Run flow flow:cache:warmup
Now I could access Neos with XAMPP.

Installing VIM in Minix 3.1.8

I've Googled this a thousand times and I cannot, for the life of me, get VIM to work on my Minix 3. For the record, I am running on a Windows machine with Minix 3 working on Oracle's VM VirtualBox.
I've tried typing,
# pkgin up && pkgin in vim
but I get the error:
pkgin: Can't open database /usr/var/db/pkgin/pkgin.db: unable to open database file: No such file or directory
I then try to do pkgin search git to search for a package, but I get the same error. Could this be some kind of Internet connection issue? I'm incredibly confused.
If you haven't already, download the binary package from here:
ftp://ftp.minix3.org/pub/minix/packages/3.3.0/i386/editors/
Change "i386" to your correct architecture, if different.
As you're probably already familiar, this page tells you how to install binary packages for Minix:
http://wiki.minix3.org/en/UsersGuide/InstallingBinaryPackages
As far as your "pkgin" errors, here are two possible solutions:
http://osdir.com/ml/minix3/2011-03/msg00244.html
How to install vim into Minix3?
I asked on the Minix 3 Google Groups Forums and they solved my problem. If anyone else has trouble, I'm pasting a response by Lionel:
Switch to http downloads by editing "/usr/pkg/etc/pkgin/repositories.conf" and comment out the line:
ftp://ftp.minix3.org/pub/minix/packages/$osrelease/$arch/All
and add the following:
http://www.minix3.org/pkgsrc/packages/$osrelease/$arch/All
Then do shutdown, boot, pkgin update and then install your desired packages.

Bower not copying any files

Im using bower as part of the yeoman 1.0 beta 4 install. All looks well however when I run bower install I get the expected output yet no files are copied to app/components as advertised.
I am running on windows which I understand is not officially supported yet. Has any one managed to get this up and running with some success? I have followed some tutorials on line relating to the subject however I think they are out dated. I managed to install yeoman without any additional steps and no errors as far as I can tell.
Grunt File being Used
Oh no... Git was not on the system path. Adding it caused me to run into another small error with a solution found here http://wingkaiwan.com/2012/11/25/bower-errors-on-windows/
Thank you Mr Ricky Wan

symfony plugin installation failing [bhLDAPAuthPlugin]

I'm working on a symfony project and I need a user access conected to an LDAP server. So I searched for something already done to add to my app and found this plugin that has all I wanted.
So I tried to install with the command $ php symfony plugin:install bhLDAPAuthPlugin
for some reason it throws me this error:
No release avaiable for plugin "bhLDAPAuthPlugin"
I don't really understand what that message means. I've checked the spell of the command (also copied the command given in the page of the plugin) and same error appears. If I had no all requeriments for instalation, other errors would be thrown, right?
PS: If you know some easy way to implement by myself the comunication with LDAP (Microsoft Active Directory) will also be appreciated.
No exactly sure how to solve the error message, perhaps it helps is specifically specify which version you wish to install.
Otherwise there's an easy workaround:
Just download the tgz file from here:
http://www.symfony-project.org/plugins/bhLDAPAuthPlugin/6_0_0
and do
php symfony plugin:install bhLDAPAuthPlugin-etc-etc.tgz
