I'm using the experiments page of a project in ClearML Web UI to visualize some custom metrics. Therefore I've customized my table vie (https://allegro.ai/clearml/docs/docs/webapp/webapp_exp_table.html?highlight=customize#adding-metrics)
But whenever I leave the page for another project and go back, the table will be resetted.
Is there a way to store configuration for a specific project?

The layout for the table is stored by the Web UI on your user-preferences on the clearml-server, but it is not unfortunately a per project setting. This means that if you change the lable-layout in one project it, it will become the default table layout. I suggest you put feature request on the GitHub repo, it sounds reasonable to add.

Like the title says, how can I customize the web dashboard in TFS 2012? I have created my own Work Item Type and would like a shortcut on the home page of Team Web Access. I am using the default Team Web Access page and I would just like to have a shortcut button immediately on the front page instead of in a dropdown, which is where it's contained now.

There is no supported way to do this. In TFS 2015 they have the concept of Web Extensions, but that is only for specific extension points which doesn't include changing the home page.
You can do it in an unsupported manner, but I wouldn't recommend it. You can find the ASPX/CSS/JS files on the server that TFS uses for the web site and hack away at them. I've known people that have done this before. But there are probably repercussions when it comes time to upgrade.
For posterity, I've found a dirty solution to do this without cloning the website and gutting it (as described here: http://awaitwisdom.com/how-to-extend-tfs-team-web-access/). Note that this solution is really dirty and may not fit your project needs.
The solution works by swapping the default work item options (based on the process template you are using).
Use WITADMIN to export your Categories into an XML. Find a work item currently on the front page that you're okay with swapping out for the work item you want to be on the front page. Change "DEFAULTWORKITEMTYPE" to "WORKITEMTYPE" in the tags. Add a new entry: and it should show up as one of the shortcut buttons on your home page.
I highly recommend doing your modifications with Microsoft TFS Power Tools 2012.
I have been looking for an solution for structuring my MVC5 project, but have not found anything yet.
What i look for is. I have an Main Website, which off-course has it's own Views, Scripts and Controllers, but what is special is that i like to have sub Website projects which add an menu point in the main page, but the sub website also contains it's own Views, scripts and Controllers( I have tried to draw a picture of what i'm talking about ).
The point of this is to have an structured in a easy way. But also to reuse the same views in a framework way.
You should be able to define an area in another project, found an article that explains in detail how it is done in MVC3, it should not be very different in later versions since areas and routing haven't changed a lot.

Update: you do not actually need to set up the project in the Areas folder, but you need to copy all content like views and scripts/css into there before being able to use it in the main application.
If you want these sites to actually be separate websites but only look similar, then that is what you'd need to set up. You'd probably want to decide on a single-sign-on scheme for that.
I just Migrated my 3.7 website to 5.2 Website, but I noticed that the Generic Content in 3.7 Project have been converted to Shared Content blocks in 5.2. And most importantly not all (only few are likned to pages, i.e., Used in pages column has "Not used" value).
I searched a lot but couldn't find any way to map these blocks to the pages as they were in 3.7 Project.
However, I was trying to follow tutorial:

But I didn't see any option such as "Select from existing shared content button" in Edit Template mode, I get this option in Edit page mode & when I set the Content by selecting the existing Content it's not displayed in View mode, but it's displayed in edit mode.
Any ideas how to do this?

With the introduction of Sitefinity v4, shared content is no longer available for templates, just for pages. They removed that ability unfortunately due to architectual reasons and performance issues.
The official comment on how to solve it at the moment, is by using inherited templates, where you drop a normal content block on a 'parent' template and thus its child templates inherit it while keeping a single point of edit.
As a non-recommendation 'hack', you can activate it, as described here. But keep in mind the response from Telerik:
it will lead to performance problems. This is why this feature is
disabled by default, and we do not recommend using it.
But there is also good news when you read the Sitefinity 5.3 roadmap which is scheduled for release end december 2012:

Shared content is now available to use inside page templates

I'm brand new to MVC and I was trying to work my way through the music store tutorial:

I could tell right away that things looked slightly different in MVC 4 RC but one big thing I'm hitting is I don't see any Shared View being created when I add a Home View. In fact I don't see a _Layout* file anywhere within the project.
So my question is, has the shared view thing been replaced by some other mechanism or do I need to do something else to add this explicitly?

If you’re doing web development, you’ll notice a handful of updates in
the RC. First off, we’ve updated some of the project templates. We
made the MVC4 Empty template truly empty, and renamed the original
empty template to now be called the “Basic” template. We also improved
the performance of the New Project creation time.
Essentially all of the initial templates have been cut down a lot. The Empty project doesn't come with a HomeController either - you can add anything you need back.
Apparently this is tied to how you start the project. If you select Internet Application when you create a new MVC project it will build these files for you but if you select Empty you have to create them manually.
Due to hosting constraints I am porting an ASP.NET MVC to Ruby On Rails. In my ASP.NET application I had 2 web applications. One for the Admin section, and one for the public section.
Both referenced a class library that held all my Business Logic and Data.
Now I want to accomplish the same thing in Ruby On Rails. How do I use my model in two applications?
First shot: put the business logic and associated models in a plugin.
Second shot: use SVN externals or Git submodules to replicate the exact code in your app, for example under APP_ROOT/lib/ and then require it in your environment.
And last... why not putting the admin and public section in the same app?
I would create a plugin. Call it IceheatSharedLogic or something. Add the model and supporting code to the plugin and commit it to its own source control location. Add that plugin via svn:externals or equivalent to both apps.
But given your use case, is it really necessary to have 2 apps? It seems that would make things complicated if you ever needed any interaction between them (such as putting an edit link on a page, if you are logged in as an admin).
