I want to delete swift package, but the delete action is disabled. So, how can I do?
It is not about the Xcode 12. As you realized your folder is red.
Probably you removed this folder from the target is supposed to be referenced from here..
In other words Xcode can't see this folder. That is why your delete button disabled.
Just delete from target and restart the Xcode so it will be removed.
Click your project > Swift Packages and click - as below
In your project navigator (the left sidebar), click on your xcodeproj (the one with the blue icon).
In your xcodeproj, click on your project, then click on your project. You should be able to manage your packages under the "Swift Packages" section.

I added the script that I found in another post but no luck. I cleaned the build folder hundred times but nothing is working.
Actually in my case the target has been set correctly. All I needed to do was to turn off the simulator and let it get started by the build again.
Have you checked the "Target Membership" in the right-side pane?
Go to "images.xcassets" under your project
Click "AppIcon" or any image asset you have for your project
Show the Inspector on the right
See if "Target Membership" is checked correctly for your app.
Select Target from Xcode then navigate to General Tab and under "App Icon and Launch Images" section select "App Icons Source" -> AppIcon
It was greyed out in the Target membership. I fixed that and it worked.
When I click on my project in XCode 5, I can't see the build phases tab where I can link binaries with libraries.
Make sure to have the target of your project selected, as opposed to the actual project, in the left pane of the main view.
i have added a Framework in my project on Xcode 6, but when i add it the frameworks goes in the Project Navigator Hierarchy like in in the image above:
But i remember that on Xcode 5, the linked framework goes in the Framework folder that now doesn't exist anymore, can i move the framework in another folder?
thanks
In the linked frameworks panel, you can add framework at other folders. So i think you can move the framework. Or when you click the framework in your left navigate panel, the left up corner will show the package to which target. It also works.
Seem like this feature was removed from xcode 5 ?
Prior to xcode5, it is easy to duplicate any target via clicking on the target, choose "duplicated blabla", then you will get it.
But for xcode5 , where is this hiding ?
Step1: Select the (blue) project icon in Xcode and open project setting page.
Step2: Click on the black arrow icon and explore the targets
Step 3: Duplicate your target by selecting the target and press "cmd+D" keys. You can rename as you like.
Enjoy!!
Select your project in the left nav. In the main content area at the top, you have a row that is like a file navigator. Then the second row, right under the first, in the very left there is a little square arrow thing. That hides/shows the project and targets list.
This is the screenshot from xcode 6:
It's still there - right click on target or use CMD + D shortcut after selecting target
i was working with Xcode3, since i moved to Xcode4, i didn't find where is the Build in the settings section in Xcode as it looks like this in Xcode3:
Not sure to understand your question, the 'Build Settings' is still there in XCode4, simply click on your project itself and it's there
Click on the project at the top of the left pane in XCode and you will find a 'Build Settings' pane...
