I understand it is related to Certificates but how do i resolve it? Where can i find the cert for jenkins update site which i can add to JAVA keystore? Also is there a workaround to this issue as it is just on my local
Thank you
if you get validate certifacate issue while downloading the jenkins plugins just
do check your time settings in your linux environment .
check time ---> date cmd
update the time ---> date s "date month year hr:mm:ss"
try to restart your jenkins and download plugins

In projects configuration in Jenkins is shown, that something is not in order with message "Unable to access the repository"
However, when I run the same project on my slave machine, the connection is successful, and Jenkins does not show in console any error. svn update command finishes successfully. Both my master and slave machines are Windows server VMs with. Connection from master to SVN from TortoiseSVN is successful, and I am able to checkout the repository. I used SVN few years without problems, Subversion plugin was just installed to Jenkins.
Found similar issues e.g. Jenkins Master-Slave: Key exchange was not finished, connection is closed or https://support.tmatesoft.com/t/svn-e210002-svnkit-doesnt-connect-to-remote-repository/2480/13, with solution to edit config file /etc/ssh/sshd_config on svn server, but I don't think that can be the issue, since from slave machine the connection is successful. I checked also Java version, they are the same on both windows servers.
Tried also different credential types, public key authentication and user/pw from scm console of Jenkins [jenkinsUrl]/scm/SubversionSCM/enterCredential but it throws the same error, just from the line Fatal error during MAC startup!
edit: On SVN server in /var/log/secure there is Connection closed message from my master machine (10.74.37.1), no other error or details. From slave machine (10.74.37.28) the connection is accepted
Dec 5 14:47:11 xlcppt28 sshd[24808]: Connection closed by 10.74.37.1 port 57664 [preauth]

Problem was resolved with updating Jenkins and then every plugin in Jenkins (as my Jenkins server is offline, that wasn't 2 clicks..) I also updated Java.
i am trying to use Jenkins in my local system, i do get Java Certificate as below, i do use jdk11 version in my system, in case you know how to add certificate or resolution link for the below problem, kindly share it to me

Uninstalled Java 11, Jenkins in my Windows 10 System, Installed Java 17 with Jenkins LTS - Plugins. then tried to login Jenkins, the Plugins got automatically downloaded.
Some of our jobs that use groovy scripts have started failing today. It appears the "a" in "apache" is missing and there is a typo in the jfrog download reference. I suspect this was a long lived typo in the jfrog repo and may have been fixed in the past day or so (I see uploads yesterday), but now is breaking anyone who used it. Anyone have ideas of how to rectify this?

Started hitting this yesterday too. We've also switched to Extract Zip/Tar installer. It's worth noting you probably have to specify the Subdirectory of extracted archive setting based on the root dir inside the zip. So for us we used:
https://groovy.jfrog.io/artifactory/dist-release-local/groovy-zips/apache-groovy-binary-2.4.9.zip
For the Download URL, and the following for the subdir:
groovy-2.4.9
I am getting the following error while trying to build an application.
It worked properly from long time, recently it stopped the build process and throws the error. The configuration of the build uses slave node, In google many suggested that the issue may related to the Java version issues in slave node and the selected version in jenkings configuration section.

This is not a permission issue. The issue has been resolved by rebooting the slave nodes as the whole file system in slave node went into read mode, even the root user gets exception with touch command on the directory /scratch/jenkins/workspace/ .
Not sure where to go on this as I have setup proxy details using GRAILS_OPTS - can anyone suggest anything to try, please?
I thought profiles were bundled, so can you disable checking for latest profile versions, as a workaround?
Just downloaded grails 3.1 using sdkman (earlier grails versions wouldn't download, but other candidates e.g. groovy, did work - not sure what changed) and made it default candidate.
$ echo $GRAILS_OPTS
"-Dhttp.proxyHost=proxy, -Dhttp.proxyPort=8080, -Dhttp.proxyUser=me, Dhttp.proxyPassword=password, -Dhttps.proxyHost=proxy, -Dhttps.proxyPort=8080, -Dhttps.proxyUser=me, -Dhttps.proxyPassword=password"
Try to run grails and it bombs...
$ grails --stacktrace --verbose

Gordon.
Meet the same issue. Looks like the Maven local repository files was broken during the development process.
To fix the problem remove all files from the folder (MacOS/Linux): /Users/username/.m2/repository/org/grails/profiles/angular/3.1.0
(Windows)
C:\Documents and Settings\username\.m2\org\grails\profiles\angular\3.1.0
Then restart grails console.
Try to set the following environment variable:
export JAVA_OPTS="-Dhttp.proxyHost=proxy.yourcompany.com -Dhttp.proxyPort=8080 -Dhttps.proxyHost=proxy.yourcompany.com -Dhttps.proxyPort=8080"
I have no idea what I'm talking about but I think grails is trying to do some ssh to github.
If your proxy is blocking it, there is no way around it.
I can clone from github with https, but not with ssh : see github help
So i cannot grails create-app, etc.
