I'm trying to use composer and for the same I'm using the below command for installation.
curl -O https://hyperledger.github.io/composer/latest/prereqs-ubuntu.sh
chmod u+x prereqs-ubuntu.sh
These above commands successfully executed.
But when I executed this command (./prereqs-ubuntu.sh) then I'm getting below error
Terminal Throws Error ///Ubuntu focal is not supported
Please help

I also find this kind of error during Hyperledger Composer installation this problem mainly depends on the Ubuntu version.
Steps to overcome this problem.
upgrade ubuntu version as per your ubuntu versoin please follow:

open file prereqs-ubuntu.sh with your compatible editor
update line:
#Array of supported versions

declare -a versions=('trusty' 'xenial' 'yakkety', 'bionic', 'focal');
After saving this file
Run command: ./prereqs-ubuntu.sh

I'm trying to install syndesis on minishift following the official guides.
Installed minishift on ubuntu, no issues. Next I've tried
./syndesis minishift --install. In the end it says I have to run local dev builds for sysdesis-server syndesis-ui, etc
./syndesis build --app-images but got some dependency errors
Run syndesis quickstart. All the pods are up except syndesis-server. It doesn't start due to error like UnknownHostException: syndesis-db in the migration bean
Also tried ./syndesis minishift --install --tag 1.8.12 to install stable version but not sure if I'm doing it right cause no success
Any help ?
Sorry for the late response. We moved to use an Operator to do the installation and it caused a bunch of installation issues. If you have minishift installed then on Linux or Mac you should be able to get Syndesis installed using
bash <(curl -sL https://syndes.is/start)

It uses the syndesis bash command line tool from (https://github.com/syndesisio/syndesis/blob/master/tools/bin/), so you can check out the code yourself too and run that using:
./.syndesis/bin/syndesis minishift --install --full-reset --nodev --open
and then you can explore other options to specify a tag if you want.

I wanna install shopsys via composer and docker, as is recommended.

I installed git, php-fpm (configured), postgres (configured), composer, docker, docker-compose.
sudo apt install git
sudo apt install php7.2-fpm
sudo apt install postgresql
sudo apt install composer
sudo apt install docker-ce
sudo apt install docker-compose
Everything ok.
I added my user to docker group.
sudo usermod -a -G docker $(whoami)
Ok.
Next I made folder /var/www/html/shopsys, created project shopsys via composer.
composer create-project shopsys/project-base --no-install --keep-vcs
cd project-base/
Then I run this in /var/www/html/shopsys/project-base.
./scripts/install.sh
Everything seems to be ok, until this.
[RuntimeException]
/var/www/html/vendor does not exist and could not be created.
I set rights to 777 for folder /var/www/html, and run it again, but same problem.
The I run this.
sudo composer install
It shows me this error.

Last error when i run script install.sh.
file_put_contents(/var/www/html/vendor/composer/installed.json): failed to open stream: Permission denied
But this folder does not exist.
ls: cannot access '/var/www/html/vendor/': No such file or directory
Just question, where could be the problem?
Is possible to download sources from some link, extract it, configure and display in web browser with easy way, for example as wordpress?

To solve problem with vendor:
It seems that your UID and GID is different than default 1000, that is set in docker-compose.yml for Linux by default.
To solve your issue you can continue by step 3 in https://github.com/shopsys/shopsys/blob/master/docs/installation/installation-using-docker-linux.md#3-set-the-uid-and-gid-to-allow-file-access-in-mounted-volumes
You found issue with installation script, I have created issue on GitHub.
To solve problem with Invalid configuration for path "monolog.handlers.main":
Currently there is problem with new minor version (3.4.0) of symfony/monolog-bundle that created BC break. There is already created issue about this problem and there is already merged fix in Shopsys master.
To solve problem in your project you have to add
"symfony/monolog-bundle": ">=3.4.0", in conflict section in your composer.json file and then run composer install again.

I'm trying to set up a Ruby on Rails environment within OpenSuse, but I've encountered a problem. When running sudo zypper install rubygem-railties-3_2 all I get is File '/repodata/repomd.xml' not found on medium 'http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Banshee/12.1/'. So something seems to be wrong at their side.
Is there anyone who as a workaround for, or more info about, this problem?
When running the command $ sudo zypper up I was receiving a similar error:

Detailed error:

The solution which worked for me was to run $ sudo zypper ref before running $ sudo zypper up
Obviously, you have setup an additional repository for Banshee for a very old opensuse version. Opensuse only keeps its repositories alive for the last two two releases to the current release. For this reason, you get this error. You can disable or remove the repositorium to resolve the error.
In order to install packages that are not part of the currently configured repositories, it is the easiest to use the one-click install available at https://software.opensuse.org/search .

It looks like /bin/sh is Dash on your system (apparently the default since Debian Squeeze). However, the postinstall.sh script inside the package uses brace expansion, which while widely supported in various shells is not required by the POSIX standard, and thus Dash is not in error by not supporting it. The postinstall.sh script should either specify /bin/bash instead of /bin/sh in its first line, or abstain from using Bash-specific features.
You should be able to get a functioning ejabberd install by explicitly running the postinstall script with Bash:
sudo bash /opt/ejabberd-15.07/bin/postinstall.sh
I have a NodeJS/Express Dokku container. I'm trying to use a node module which just runs the wkhtmltopdf command from shell, but it can't find wkhtmltopdf.
Anyone have any experience with this?
You need to check how wkhtmltopdf was installed in that image.
As mentioned in node-wkhtmltopdf issues 32:
The wkhtmltopdf command is executed as a shell command on non-Windows systems.
Make sure the /usr/local/bin directory is in your $PATH variable. Do this by running:
$ sh
sh-3.2$ which wkhtmltopdf # Or try:
sh-3.2$ echo $PATH
sh-3.2$ exit
(In your case, you can do a sudo docker exec -it <containerIdOrName> sh)
The same issue adds:
What I ended up doing was downloading the dmg directly from wkhtmltopdf and that seemed to do the trick.
That means you might have to create a new image from the current one, installing wkhtmltopdf that way (with the dmg package)
jsonfry what installing wkhtmltopdf as a service container means: openlabs/docker-wkhtmltopdf-aas illustrates the installation process.
I got into the same issue as you did. I didn't want to run wkhtmltopdf in another container nor did I want to change the code to use remote calls. Since downloading wkhtmltopdf using apt-get plugin may result in a package that throws errors, I have created a new plugin that should set up wkhtmltopdf in the dokku container for you.
It is licensed using MIT license so feel free to do whatever you want. Hopefully it will help somebody.
