Google Docs API : How to update alignment of the table? - google-docs-api

I have a Table in the google docs and want to change its alignment to -0.71 but i do not see any Python API to change table properties. This can be done easily using following UI on google UI (as shown below):
I also tries looking at following requests but could not find it:
updateTableColumnProperties
updateTableCellStyle
For debugging, i created a doc with mentioned alignment and tried dumping JSON of it. But i do not see alignment keyword in the JSON.

I found a hack, this may not be the best solution but works.
1) Update paragraph style and set the indentation, alignment as required. Here the start_idx is the index where table needs to be created.

It's not currently possible to do so. You can create a Feature Request for the Docs API, and you can also subscribe to this one for Apps Script by clicking on the star next to the Issue number to give more priority to the request and to receive updates.
In case of the second request being implemented, you could call the script from the command line using Clasp.

Google docs api insert column break

How to insert column break using google docs api v1? There are methods like insertPageBreak and insertSectionBreak but nothing for column break.
Unfortunately, what you want cannot be achieved.
When updating a Google Doc, the only options are indeed only the ones to insert a page break or a section break.
However, the ParagraphElement contains a ColumnBreak element. So when creating a document using the below request, you can specify directly where you would like to place the ColumnBreak

In Power Automate, is there a way to filter on a Custom Field using DevOp's Send HTTP Request?

I'm trying to use Power Automate to return a custom work item in Azure DevOps using the "workitemsearch" API (via the "Send HTTP Request" action). Part of this will require me to filter based on the value of a Custom Field, however, I have not been able to get it to work. Here is a copy of my HTTP Request Body:

I have been able to get it to work by removing the Custom.RequestNumber": ["ValueToSearch"] but am hesitant to use that in case my ValueToSearch is found in other places like the comments of other work items.
Any help on this would be appreciated.

From WorkItemSearchResponse, we can see the facets (A dictionary storing an array of Filter object against each facet) only supports the following fields:

If you want to filter RequestNumber, you can just set it in the searchText as the following syntax:

Retrieving labels from multiple JIRA Subtasks via JIRA API

I am creating a reporting dashboard with the intent of getting multiple tickets/issues for a project. As most of you probably know, a JIRA issue can have subtasks. These subtasks can have labels.
I want to retrive all labels for every subtask.
I already have the project API request implemented which returns the parent ticket ids along with the issue/ticket number of all subtasks. The problem is the data returned from this request does not include the labels for the subtasks themselves.
I can loop over each subtask number and make an additional API request for each one to get the labels, however this would result in a large number of requests.
Looking through JIRA's API I cannot find a better way of doing this. Google seems to return a lot of results about plugins and version differences with Cloud vs. Server but I have not found a better solution.
Their API makes reference to an expand option but I have yet to figure out a way to make that work for subtask labels (I might be missing something obvious).
If anyone has experience with a similar situation I would appreciate hearing any advice you could offer. Thanks!

Inspect the response for the /search endpoint again. On a completely empty JIRA Cloud instance I created a Project, one Issue and added a Sub-task for it. Calling the /search endpoint returns a list with two Issues (so, the Issue itself and its Sub-task) and for both there's a field called labels with an array of all the Labels attached to it.

After looking at the response then yes, the array in subtasks is really simple and cannot be separately expanded. You need to do the search, then parse out all the subtasks that you're interested in and either do
a separate /issue/[key] request for each one
a /search for those specific keys
After doing some further research I found a better way to do this. I'm still not getting the subtask labels back but instead of looping over each subtask and sending a separate request for each, you can do one API call using JQL like this:

The
&fields=labels
part drastically reduces the amount of information returned. So now I can just do a total of two calls and get everything I need. :)

Pre-setting values to Docusign template

I am new to Docusign api and I am trying to post values from my form into a template. To be honest, I am not sure if I even created the custom fields properly or if there is some special way to set them into the form other than just creating a text field with a name.
I have read through the docs and recipes and about a dozen or more stack posts.
I am using rails and my fields post just fine but it's my tabs that do not. I read somewhere that I am supposed to use tabs and not custom_fields. Not sure if that's totally correct but that's how I've interpreted it.

In your texttabs section, you should be passing in the following parameters at a minimum per tab: tablabel & value.
tablabel is the name of the tab that you have defined on the template. So from what I can tell, you have a text box on your template called Address. So you should put "tablabel":"Address".
value is what you would like to pre-populate in the tab. Looks like you have that correct.

I also see an extraneous parameter of "Rent" under templateRoles section. That value will be ignored since it is not a valid parameter.
Turns out the problem was not with the code but with the setup within docusign. Make sure that you are setting up your tabs correctly and if you want to replicate a field multiple times make sure that they all share the same exact name.

Time from creation to closed

I am trying to calculate the average time for all the jira cases that are created and until they are resolved.
How can this be done, for a specific project?
You dont say how you want to calculate this.
The simplest way is to add the Resolution Time Gadget to your dashboard. Here you can add a filter to specify which issues you want to consider.
This will give you a nice bar chart of the average resolution times of issues over a given period
If you want more control, you can write a script for it with the Jira REST API
If you create a jql for the issues you are interested in, you can call the REST api with a url like this:

This will return a whole bunch of info, but you are most interested in the issues array elements, and specifically the fields "created" and "resolutiondate"

Now you can calculate the difference between the two for each issue element and find an average.
