Check for system requirements failed - cytoscape

I tried to install Cytoscape on Win10 64bit. After I ran the windows.bat file, I get the following lines in the message:
find: 'TTL=': No such file or directory
Problem: The "app" store at apps.cytoscape.org is not reachable with a timeout of 30000ms
Summary
Your system has some issues.
Please fix those and re-run this script again:
- App store at apps.cytoscape.org is not reachable
There is no problem for me to access the website of apps.cytoscape.org using a browser. So what is the problem? Thank you!

It seems that running the windows.bat file as an Administrator solved the "find: 'TTL=': No such file or directory" problem

Neo4J windows installation

Downloaded Neo4j community version, the file named "neo4j-desktop-offline-1.1.13-setup.exe". Running the binary successfully installed. Launching the application takes me to configuration of database location "Please choose path where you want to store application data" and regardless of what path i choose, clicking "Confirm" does not do anything at all and it remains on the same screen.
Am using Windows 10.
I also got the same problem. I fixed it by adding a new PATH in environmental variables,
Advanced System Settings > Environment Variable > system variable > path > new: C:\Windows\System32\wbem
After setting, reopen the Neo4j application and it will allow you a select the path where you want to save application data.
REASON
In the developer console, you will see the following error
Uncaught (in promise) Error: Command failed: wmic logicaldisk get
size, freespace, caption 'wmic' is not recognized as an internal or
external command, operable program or batch file.
The actual WMIC binary is located at C:\Windows\System32\wbem\WMIC.exe you need to set the path if it is not yet defined.
try opening http://127.0.0.1:7477 or http://localhost:7474 in your browser
I had the same problem using Windows 7, and after trying the solutions others have suggested around fixing the Path environment variable to no avail, I found upgrading PowerShell solved the problem. To do this, I upgraded my Windows Management Framework (to 5.1 at the time of this writing) by following the appropriate link for my version of Windows from here:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/scripting/windows-powershell/install/installing-windows-powershell
For Windows 7, I retrieved Win7AndW2K8R2-KB3191566-x64.zip from the Download link found here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=54616.
I unzipped and installed it, and after a reboot it worked (for Neo4j Desktop 1.4.15). Upgrades to WMF for other versions of Windows are on the same page.

Neos CMS installation 500 error: Specified path not found

I tried to install Neos CMS local under Windows 10 with a Wamp Apache Server. After creating the project with a composer and registering the Vhosts, I tried to run neos.demo/setup. Then I get an 500 internal server error with the message "Specified path not found”, for more information, take a look at the screenshot.
I checked the solutions for the exception code 1355480641, but nothing can solve my problem.
Thanks for your recommendations!
do you have set Neos.Flow.core.phpBinaryPathAndFilename in Configuration/Settings.yaml to the correct php.exe binary path?
This is not an actual solution, this is more of an alternative.
I was having troubles installing neos on windows 10 as well (not the same as you though), a really nice solution that I would recommend as alternative to wamp is bitnami-neos.
I got the same error in the current version of Neos CMS (v4.1). The solution to the problem was for me:
Adjust Configuration/Settings.yaml with the php.exe path (which you already did)
Launch an administrator cmd
Go to the Neos CMS directory
Run flow flow:core:compile
Run flow flow:cache:warmup
Now I could access Neos with XAMPP.

trigger.io [Error 5] Access is denied

I just recently updated to the new version of forge, did not change anything on my setting and when I went to build my app I got an error that said it could not find the file..
so I made the copy of aapt file and put it in a directory where trigger said it was looking (the docs said trigger.io should have moved this file for me already but Im guessing it did not)
After I moved this file and ran the build again it looked like it found the file but now I get [Error 5] Access is denied.
I have checked the permissions on the folder as I am the admin and I have full permissions and I have launched trigger as an administrator and still nothing.
Thanks.
So again from what I can tell this is a problem with the python script that calls aapt.
When you look at the script it points only to aapt, this means its looking for a directory and not the aapt.exe file itself so the first thing that happens is
1) forge says it cant find the aapt directory, this is why you are getting the error message "cant find aapt tool"
2) by adding the directory you would get the access denied because then the script is trying to run all these commands on just the directory (this was the problem I ran into), by making the change below you do not need to create a directory, just leave everything how it is but add the exe and it should work
After doing some testing I found that by adding .exe to the pythong script in android_tasks.py the build was able to run successfully
if you look on line 35 of android_tasks.py and change 'appt' to 'appt.exe' it should build for you
this is what it looks like for me
path.join(sdk, 'build-tools', '*','aapt.exe')
Hope this helps

Neo4j StartService FAILED 1053 after copying Beer DB example

I installed Neo4j as instructed in the site and was able to install and stat server. However I tried to copy the Beer example DB by stopping the server and deleting the current graph.db in the \data folder and replaced with the one Beer example downloaded from online (graph.db folder). This is the only step I did.
Now the issue is, when i tried to start the Server I get "StartService FAILED 1053"
I am using following command on the powershell in windows - c:\neo4j-community-2.0.0-M03> .\bat\Neo4j.bat start
Can someone please help if I have done anything wrong here.
Thank you!
You are running neo4j 2.0 against an older database file. You'll need to set the config parameter to allow the store to be upgraded before starting. See instructions here:

could not start the sphinx search service on local computer?

i am getting this
Windows could not start the SphinxSearch service on Local Computer.
Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly.
i got installation instruction from this .
http://blog.robbsnet.com/2011/07/how-to-install-and-implement-sphinx.html
build process is complete but when i start the sphinx search service i got errors .
Try running searchd manually from Command Prompt. Maybe it will give you a useful error message.
Try also looking in searchd.log
For anyone who is still having problems with the Windows service:
Make sure your configuration is correct for both database and paths and the needed folders & files are created.
Make sure that the service "command" matches the correct paths and files, to do so you have to:
Run administrative tools, click on local services, then find SphinxSearch. Click on its properties and read the line the service is trying to execute. If the configuration path doesn't match the service start command, it will fail to start.
FYI, this can also happen because your search data files are corrupt. Easy fix for that is to nuke the files and refill them.
