'<' character in property value strips rest of string - neo4j

When adding a node in Neo4j with Cypher by:
CREATE (a: testNode {text: 'te>st<ignored' })
RETURN a.text
This returns: "te>st".
How come the rest of the string is stripped due to the character '<'?

Neo4j is not ignoring the rest of the string, It'd storing as it is and also returning the same. But there is some issue with the Neo4j browser, It's not showing it properly.
You can verify this by viewing results in text format in the Neo4j browser.

Neo4j browser considers it as a start of HTML tag and hence doesn't show it properly. You can try adding HTML tags in the text and it will render the same in the output.
Here is an example:
If you add an input tag it shows the input box.
CREATE (a: testNode {text: 'test input <input type="text" name="fname">' })
RETURN a.text

Is there any limit for source in typeahead?

I am using JQuery typeahed from RunningCoder. Typeahead works well if I have few records in my source, but does not work if my source has around 500 records.
It is not related to the result count, which can be managed by maxItem parameter. Also, there is no issue in getting the JSON string from the server, as I can print it without any issue.
I know ideally, I should not have them in my page pre-loaded and search it based on the input, but in my case hitting the server for search is not an option and I want to perform the search from the static data I have in my view. Here is my code:

ADDITIONAL INFO:
After figuring out the issue, would like to explain it a bit as this may help someone. By using above code, you can search the list based on two fields i.e. Text and Subtext, but the user will see only Text in the result and then can select from matching options. This will be very useful if you want to perform the search on more than one field but show just one field.
Figured it out after creating sample data on my own, rather than relying on server response. The issue is not with the length of the result, but null entries in the result.
In my data, there are few objects with Subtext as NULL, and that causes the issue, I fixed it by replacing the NULL with an empty string, and this works as expected now.

Numeric sort in Manual (Legacy) index in Neo4j 3 is not working correctly

I'm using Legacy indexing (now called Manual indexing). After migration from Neo4j 2 to version 3 I have some problems with numeric sorting.
Example of correct statement in Neo4j 2:
queryContext.sort(new Sort(new SortField(AGE, SortField.INT, false)));
This stament should be changed for Neo4j 3 (Lucene 5):
queryContext.sort(new Sort(new SortField(AGE, SortField.Type.INT, false)));
But if you use this sort statement you will get an exception:

I think this is caused by new added statement in Neo4j indexer class (Neo4j is indexing field for sorting automatically now?). See in:
org.neo4j.index.impl.lucene.legacy.IndexType CustomType addToDocument( Document document, String key, Object value )
new line:
document.add( instantiateSortField( key, value ) );
and method instantiateSortField is creating SortedSetDocValuesField
So I changed my code to:
queryContext.sort(new Sort(new SortedSetSortField(AGE, false)));
This runs OK but sorting is not working because numbers are sorted as string. I see that "value" parameter is String every time in method "addToDocument". I think the root cause is explained it this old comment:

Embed image in XML docs

The MSDN page about XML documentation shows that you can write simple things like:

But can you embed images in your XML documentation?
You can include <img ... /> and other HTML tags in the XML documentation. I just tried this and Visual Studio simply skips over the image (so you will not see it in the IntelliSense) but the fshtmldoc tool in F# Power Pack simply copies the HTML tags to the output HTML document including images.

I think the C# compiler does some additional validation of the XML tags, but I do not think this is done in the F# compiler. As an aside, I find writing the XML documents a annoyingly long, so I was playing with using F# Formatting to write them in Markdown instead (but I do not have anything ready yet).

umbraco - how to get all of nodes by Document Type

How can I get all nodes by specific Document Type?
For example, I want to get in code behind all of nodes with Document Type: s3Article. How can I do this?

This is my code. I had to use Where(x => x.NiceUrl.Contains("en")), because I have 2 language version- without Where I receive nodes from all catalogues with doctype s3Article, but I want to get only from one language version.

You can use the uQuery GetNodesByType(string or int) method:

Alternatively, you can use an extension method to get all descendant nodes and then query them by type as in the following answer:

You could use this to databind to a control within a usercontrol like so:

I also found it to be the easiest and most readable approach to use ExamineManager's search builder. Very flexible, and has the added benefit of being very readable due to the Fluent Builder pattern the U Team used.
This will search ALL nodes, so if you need within a specific branch, you can use .ParentId(1234) etc.

Nokogiri/Ruby array question

I have a quick question. I am currently writing a Nokogiri/Ruby script and have the following code:
fullId = doc.xpath("/success/data/annotatorResultBean/annotations/annotationBean/concept/fullId")
fullId.each do |e|
e = e.to_s()
g.write(e + "\n")
end
This spits out the following text:
<fullId>D001792</fullId>
<fullId>D001792</fullId>

<fullId>D008715</fullId>
I wanted the just the numbers text in between the "< fullid>" saved, without the < fullId>,< /fullId> markup. What am I missing?

I think you want to use the text() accessor (which returns the child text values), rather than to_s() (which serializes the entire node, as you see here).
I'm not sure what the g object you're calling write on is, but the following code should give you an array containing all of the text in the fullId nodes:
doc.xpath(your_xpath).map {|e| e.text}
