I'm developping a job that transfer data from an old table to a new one .After mapping almost of the source fileds in tmap with their destinations , the destination table was changed and the names of fileds of the destination table were changed also .How can i do update my tmap without recreating the mappings?

I've had the same issue once, I guess you can't.

AlaSQL saved database location

Where can I find the locations that are made from alasql? For example
alasql('CREATE TABLE one (two INT)');
Where is table one will be saved?
The table one will be saved in the global variable alasql.tables.one.
The data you put into the table one will be located in the global variable alasql.tables.one.data.

Get the table name as dynamically in ssis

I have a table in that table i'm inserting all my TableNames of that database.
Now I need to pass this table name to OLEDB source DYNAMICALLY from my main table one by one
Is this possible to to pass the table name as dynamically in OLEDB source.
I suspect you are then going to run some SQL against the stored table name?
You'll need to approach this differently and run what you are trying within a SQL task.
If not, give us some more information about exactly what you are trying to achieve.

oracle devart entity framework - added New column - now trigger system_id not changing to a unique new number?

oracle 10.4
devart dotConnect - 6.50...
MVC2 project - web page
User fills out form, then controller gets new entity, fills it out. saves database
System_id before saving = 0 (its an int/number - so no cannot be null)
Several other tables linked, so they have their own System_id as well.
When it gets saved to database, some trigger (there is a stored trigger for the table, which I only seam to understand as when system_id=null to be fired), a new Number is assigned for System_id.
This all worked fine.
Then I came along, and needed some updates.
Another field needed on this "main" table
(I have earlier, added columns to another table, with out issue)
Added column to this "main" table (restrict_to_me)
Now when it tries to save to database - it trys saving "system_id=0".
Linked tables, also make records with system_id=0
In entity framework designer - i can see the field system_id ENTITY_KEY=true and StoredGeneratedPatern=Idenity
So I can not see what I have done to stop somthing from working with the entity framework, except updating the entity framework.
Any direction much appricated
thanks
When you added the new field, did you drop the table and recreate it?
If you did that then you deleted the trigger at the same time. So when you recreate the table, you also need to recreate the trigger.
Try inserting data just using an SQL statement and see if the id is generated.
This was an Entity Framework issue, one many have already had.
Not every time, but some times, when updating the model, StoredGenereatedPattern being droped in a section.
http://www.ladislavmrnka.com/2011/03/the-bug-in-storegeneratedpattern-fixed-in-vs-2010-sp1/
When looking at fixes, did not understand that BOTH SSDL and CSDL parts stored in same text.
So look in upper part that it has StoredGenereated Pattern.

how to pass schema names dynamically in grails 1.3.5 framework

I want to copy table data from one schema to another schema. Once established the connection with source schema, table value is copied and then establish the connection with destination schema to save the data in destination table.
For this i need to pass the value of the schema dynamically to Datasource.groovy (default_schema = ${someConfig.default_schema}). Is there any other way to proceed?
I think dataSource plugin is what you are looking for. Whit it you can setup a second datasource for your destination DB ad save objects in it.

Load File using Entity Framework

Right now I have file upload/download through Entity Framework working but I see an issue coming up. In the scenario when i want to get a list of all the files associated with a record, I don't want it to pull the Data property, just the FileId and Name, because the files can be up to 10MB each.
I have LazyLoading disabled so I'm thinking about putting the Data column into another table and only load the data when I want. That way I can just supply a link to a controller with the FileId I want to download. But maybe there is a better way? All suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!
My File entity has the following properties:
FileId
FkRecord
Name
Data
you do not need to put data column in another table - just create another entity in the designer and move you [Data] column in it. don't forget to create corresponding table mapping in designer - map you data column to the column in db table.
Also create 1 to 1 association between entities. And you could use navigational properties and do not need to alter you db table!
