We are creating a custom google action. The fulfillment code is in python.
We need google home weather unit in the code.
How to get the google home weather unit setting in the python code?
There is no such capability for a developer to pull this information about a user.

We're trying to set up a conversion event using available API.
The steps are the following:
Link account with 3rd party analytics service. Once you link your app with the service, it generates a Link ID.
Create a Conversion Action - select the app that was previously connected in 1), and set up the parameters that you want.
https://developers.google.com/app-conversion-tracking/api
Has somebody previously done that?
When I have used deep-linking on past applications, the parameters that are available are well-documented. However, that has not been my experience with the Google Assistant app.
I need to be able to pre-fill and (ideally) automatically pass some prewritten text to the Google Assistant using the deep-link that it will search (invoke) immediately.
In my iOS/Android app, the user will write something: "What's the weather like today"? I can invoke the deep-link to Google Assistant easily via googleassistant:// but do not know how to pass parameters to this link. Maybe it's not even possible, but perhaps someone knows how.
Ideally: googleassistant://query=whats+the+weather+like&invoke=true
I'm trying to integrate my online Google Actions builder with Actions Console.
Now users have to manually create Actions JSON descriptor file and upload it to the project via gactions tool. But I would to let them upload their actions without these steps. As an example I saw that Gupshup service does this already - user has to authorise Gupshup once he would to upload his project, and all things perform behind the scene by Gupshup.
As I know I have to use some sort of Google API that allows to manage projects in Google Console with some specific OAuth scope - something like "Allow this service to manage Google Assistant dialogues and grammars".
Are there anybody who knows anything about such OAuth scopes and API?
You may be able to do something with the gactions tool, although there is no fully public API to manage Assistant console projects.
I was trying out Google Apps Script and Twitter API. It works perfectly for my Twitter account but what I want is users to make my script work on their behalves logging in with their Twitter account.
I was hoping this process is automated by turning on "Allow this application to be used to Sign in with Twitter" in Settings page of my Twitter application (asking twitter user authorization to execute app each time).
It is not. GAS script executes as if my user is already authanticated by twitter.
I understand how it is done in general from Twitter developer documentations (3-legged authorization), but I can't figure out how it is done with given GAS OAuthConfig class and URL Fetch Service. I've played with oAuthUseToken, assigning different values such never or if_available, it didn't work either.
Any help would be appreciated.
So far what I have found, but didn't try out yet (I was searching for completely different subject, yet somehow related to this):
Eric Coleda wrote in this Google Apps Script Issues post that we can now make our own OAuth2 flow by using state tokens and the usercallback endpoint which were added to ScriptApp Class.
They don't have a finished example at the time of this post, neither do I.
I have a mobile phone app, supporting web site and a Facebook account
When certain actions are taken on my phone app I interact with my web server. My web server then posts some info to a page on MY Facebook account.
I chose to use the graph api to achieve the posts to my Facebook page but I can see no way of complying with Facebooks requirements for submission.
When I try to submit facebook states the following
No Aggregations created for this Action Type. Please create a
completed Aggregation populated with sample data before submitting for
review.
Firstly I have no idea what an aggregation is?
Then the docs state
Review your Action Type before submitting for approval. Make sure your
definition is complete and your app is testable end-to-end for
publishing actions of this Action Type
Which makes sense but how do I get my mobile app to Facebook staff so they can test?
I should add that all works fine in development mode
If you are trying to create an action via the Facebook Open Graph Beta, you should first look into the documentation here. There you will find all information on actions, objects and aggregations you can generate on the timeline.
Further you will have to go to the subsection Open Graph of your App Settings:
https://developers.facebook.com/apps/YOUR_APP_ID/opengraph and create your aggregations populated with sample data.
If you want to make a simple post though, then use the Graph API and POST a Post object to the feed connection of the User object. There are a lot of examples and tutorials on the web and a lot of questions on that matter here on stackoverflow.
