I've got a problem with incorrectly deployed Google App Engine instances - I deployed 3 instances with invalid entry point script which failed (error is raised and sent to Sentry).
The application is Ruby on Rails project and the failing part is rails db:migrate part.
Even when I disabled the whole application the GAE is Creating VM, then the error is raised and then is Deleting the VM. Those instances were removed from webpage console and all 3 of them are from one service.
The GAE tries to deploy them which causes usage of resources (also the IP quota etc are used so I cannot do anything tbh) and the failures are available in logs - where I can see the whole stacktrace with the prefix in form of: api[20190429t085718] ([]).
I can find a resource by searching by this timestamp - they are appearing in search results, but when I click on them the message that they are "Not found"/"Not existing" appears.
How can I delete them? Or will they be deleted?
If anyone encounters such a problem and founds this post: problem was solved after ~6h, instances stopped deploying (so it was enough to just wait)

Application is using datadog, initially it was giving 404 not found although in logs I could see that it was giving Datadog tracer configuration, failed to establish TCP connection to 127.0.0.1:8126 ,Datadog::Transport::InternalRrrorResponse. Please not the application is connected to test database and I am using docker.
Since I did not need datadog locally, I commented that out and rebuild it and started container again but then it was not giving datadog error but the error mentioned below
reloading does not reboot the application, and therefore code executed during initialization does not run again. sp if you reload logger for example the expected changes wont be reflected int hat stale class object config.autoloader is set to classic. These autoload constant would have been unloaded if config.autoloader had been set to :zeitwerkPlease, check the "Autoloading and Reloading Constants" guide for solutions.
Any help would be highly appreciated, I am using postman to send a simple GET request on an end point that is intended for mobile apps.
I have a Windows 2012 R2 server and I managed to install the SonarQube 5.4 server as a Windows Service. I also set up a user so the service can actually start without the infamous "It started then stopped" error a lot of people seem to get. Before installing the server as a windows service, I checked that it worked using StartSonar.bat and it did work just fine, so I was confident when I made it into a service.
But when I try to access http://localhost:9000 there is nothing there, and it appears that shortly after starting the service it stops without any message at all. I can't tell if this is because I try to access the site (which gives me ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSEin Google Chrome) or if it just closes down after a short while.
Anyone got any insight?
I'm a beginner. I came across the same issue and fixed it.
Ensure that the database is running.
My log file (located at sonarqube_home_dir/logs/sonar.log) included the following statement.
Caused by: org.h2.jdbc.JdbcSQLException: Wrong user name or password [28000-176]
Since I'm using the default database, I commented below lines
#sonar.jdbc.username=***
#sonar.jdbc.password=***
at sonarqube_home_dir/conf/sonar.properties.
This must happen due to many reasons like connection problems, permission problems so First, you have to see the logs. /sonarqube-7.6/logs$ tailf sonar.log. then you can find the reason. Once I had the same problem so I did like that. my error is something Directory does not exist: lib/jdbc/mysql
org.sonar.process.MessageException: Directory does not exist: lib/jdbc/mysql reason is I uninstall MySQL and remove all folders name contains "MySQL".
just check whether port 9001 already in used, stop it if already in used.
The following issue is using the following:
AWS
PostgreSQL
Grails 2.3.3
Redis
On our account creation page, we are having some REALLY obscure functionality with the Grails withForm{}.invalidToken{} closure.
Upon hitting the page for the first time, everything works fine. You can post back to the server fine as long as you do not leave this page.
Upon leaving this page, either through navigation links or logging off, returning to the page (Again through navigation links or logging on and heading there), we can no longer submit, it hits the invalidToken closure every time.
I know AWS is involved as we took the project and deployed it to local machines both with IntelliJ and Tomcat by itself and both work fine. This issue only occurs upon deploying the WAR to AWS. (This occurs both with local builds and automated builds. They work locally but not on AWS)
We have spent almost a week on this issue trying to figure out why this is occuring, and all we have to show for it is we know AWS is somehow involved, but that's as far as we have gotten.
Does anyone have any insight into what would be causing our session to act like this?
After a LOT of searching about this issue, me and my team finally figured it out. Taken directly from our JIRA:
"This issue is caused by the implementation of tomcat-redis-session-manager used on AWS. As per their documentation (https://github.com/jcoleman/tomcat-redis-session-manager#session-change-tracking), there are "unintended consequence of hiding writes if you implicitly change a key in the session or if the object's equality does not change even though the key is updated." Specifically, the "useToken" implementation is Grails 2.3.8 is: "String generateToken(String url) { final UUID uuid = UUID.randomUUID() getTokens(url).add(uuid) return uuid }" The combination of these native implementations are there for incompatible.
The tomcat-redis-session-manager does support a manual dirty tracking mode by setting: RedisSession.setManualDirtyTrackingSupportEnabled(true); but this would require a forked build of SynchronizerTokensHolder in grails-core."
I encountered strange behavior of an JBoss AS 7 on linux server. When I deploy war with my application, the server doesn't respond for valid HTTP requests for this app. When I try to GET a valid URL, I can see in logs, that backend functions (e.g. DAO methods) are called, debug logs shows that subsequent tags in my JSF are rendered, I even can see a message Rendering View index.xml, but the response never reaches the client.
When I use a non-existent URL (e.g. index.asd) response is 404 and when I use a wrong page name (e.g. inswxasd.xhtml) the response is 500. Thus it fails only with valid requests.
I tried to connect both remotely (using firefox) and locally (with wget) and I reproduced the problem. The strange thing is that I deploy the war that I already used and then it worked.
EDIT 1:
I've just noticed that when I send a request to, the server process takes 200% of CPU. Additionally it happens for only one application with stack: Hibernate, Spring, JSF 2.0, Primefaces.
EDIT 2:
Here is pastie with jstack output (jstack -l -F <PID>). All threads are blocked.
Additionally I noticed (using top and dumping stack of the JBoss process) that the problem is most probably caused by a thread called http--0.0.0.0-8080-1. Any ideas?
Thanks for help. I reverted the database to previous state, and it started to work. Apparently there was a problem in the data that caused this infinite loop. Now we need to find it, but as it is reproducible, I'll manage.
I'm using CouchDB for my iOS application.
Following is my Application flow,
When my application is launched for the first time it replicates the remote database using xyz:a...#mmm.iriscouch.com/databasename.
if the replication is successful, everything works as expected, but sometimes the replication is not successful. In that case I'm getting the following error with log
1> OTHER: {'EXIT',{error,timeout,#Ref<0.0.0.506>}}
and it doesn't replicate until i remove the application and freshly reinstall the application on the device/simulator.
is there any callback/delegate to handle this?
Somehow when I try synching with empty DB then I never get Error time out, once I have content in DB I get the error!
Also it is hard to replicate on simulator, whereas on iPad occurrence is 90%.
i have placed the sample project in git hub
https://github.com/interactiveblueprints/CouchDBSyncTest (for couchDB username password, please read readme.txt)
this sample code is just modification of PhotoLocations. An example application (https://github.com/couchbaselabs/iOS-Demo-PhotoLocations), But changed as per my requirement.
I have also attached the error logs in
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/35814355/ErrorLog.rtf
Waiting for reply,
Krishna.
I have tried with your sample and updated the "Couchbase.framework" to the latest one, from https://github.com/couchbaselabs/CouchCocoa and now the problem seems to be solved, may be this was a bug in previous version. now it seems the DB tries to restart by itself. and the replication feels more smoother and faster.
