VS2019 without Windows 8.1 SDK - sdk

I'm trying to run an already functional application that requires the Windows 8.1 SDK.
I installed Visual Studio 2019, but there is no option in the 8.1 SDK.
This is for a Windows 10 using Visual Studio 2019 last update.
On my old computer, there was the option to select in "Individual Components", but now no longer the encounter. Does anyone know if there is no such support on VS2019? Or is it necessary to install something more for the support to appear?

This is expected as it is marked as deprecated in Visual Studio 2019:
The Windows 8.1 SDK is no longer available in the Visual Studio
installer. Please upgrade your C++ projects to the latest Windows 10
SDK. If you have a hard dependency on 8.1, you can download it from
the Windows SDK archive.
So download and install the SDK from here.

Is version 11 of Xcode supported by Visual Studio 2019 and Xamarin on a Windows PC?

I am trying to learn more about Xamarin in my free time. So far I have created a simple Xamarin Forms app with a UWP target and an Android target. I want to add an IOS target now.
Therefore I have purchased a MacBook Pro with Mojave 10.14.6. I have installed Xcode 11 (11A420a) and Visual Studio 2019 version 8.3.1 (I believe) on the Mac. I have opened Visual Studio 2019 on my Windows PC (version 16.0.3) and successfully paired the Mac.
I then created a Hello World Xamarin Forms app that is targeted by IOS on the Windows PC. The app runs, however I just see a black screen in the simulator. I have spent all day Googling this and have got no-where. Is version 11 of Xcode supported by Visual Studio 2019 and Xamarin on a Windows PC? What can I do?
Is version 11 of XCode supported by Visual Studio 2019 and Xamarin on

Yes, it is suppported.
I cannot see a project options in the build menu.
Right click the iOS project--> option --> iOS build --> link behavior, I will show you the screenshot.
And
Update:
To the original question, update the Visual-Studio to the latest version(16.3.2) will solve it.
If you have iOS 13 SDK on the Mac you'll need Visual Studio 16.3.2 or greater on your Windows machine.

Can't get Visual Studio to target the correct Android version

I have a problem getting Xamarin.Android to target the newest version of Android.
The problem arised when I tried installing the Xamarin.GooglePlayServices.Maps NuGet package, that required me to run at least Android 8.
From my Android SDK manager, I can see that Android 8 and 8.1 is the only SDK platforms installed:
However, when I start a new project in Visual Studio 2017, and go into the project properties, and extend the Compile using Android version dropdown, it's populated like this:
So here I can choose only 7.1 (that is marked as latest platform), and 8.0 and 8.1 is marked with (Requires installation). Android 7.1 SDK that VS uses is not even installed on my machine.
So the questions is: What do I have to do to select Android 8.1 as the Target Framework inside Visual Studio?
What do I have to do to select Android 8.1 as the Target Framework inside Visual Studio?
In your VS, Tools->Android->Android SDK Manager, you will see Android SDK for VS, it default path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk.
In your AS, Android SDK's path is C:\Users\user name\AppData\Local\Android\Sdk
Now, you can change the VS's Android SDK's path to C:\Users\user name\AppData\Local\Android\Sdk, but we don't suggest you do that, it may cause VS compilation errors at some point, and by then you cannot find the cause of the problem.
So, you can download the Android 8 from VS again.

how to repair Xamarin studio

I have already install Xamarin Studio 6.0
Now I Want to install Xamarin.android for android apps development (because checkbox is disabled).
How I can modify this component.
As far as I know, Microsoft Visual Studio for Mac now completely replaced Xamarin Studio. Last version of Xamarin Studio I had installed was marked as damaged or corrupted on my Mac so I just moved it into Trash and installed Visual Studio for Mac. After that I was able to install new versions of Xamarin.Android, Xamarin.iOS et cetera.

"The installed Xamarin.iOS (version 10.3) on the Mac Unnamed Server (...) is not compatible with the local Xamarin.iOS (version 10.4)"

On my Windows box I have VS 2017, and on my Mac I have Xamarin Studio 6.2.
When I try to build an iOS project in Visual Studio on Windows, it complains that "The installed Xamarin.iOS (version 10.3) on the Mac Unnamed Server () is not compatible with the local Xamarin.iOS (version 10.4)".
However, in Help -> About in VS, it reports that the Xamarin.iOS is version 10.4.0.123. On the Mac, Xamarin Studio reports that I have version 10.4.0.128. Presumably, these should be compatible. I have tried to check for updates, as noted in other questions, but there are none available.
Any hints as to what is going on here?
Those versions are not in fact compatible. Xamarin builds for VS 2017 are currently 1 build behind those for the Mac. I recommend downgrading your Mac Xamarin iOS Version to 10..4.0.123, which you can get from the your Xamarin account Downloads page:
https://store.xamarin.com/account/my/subscription/downloads#all-versions
Get the 10.4 version dated Feb 28th (or perhaps Mar 1 depending on your time zone) which is version 10.4.0.123 as installed in your VS 2017.
See this release note for more info:
https://releases.xamarin.com/category/xamarin-for-visual-studio/
and note this line in the above:
Do note that at the moment, Xamarin for Visual Studio 2017 is one build behind the version for Visual Studio 2015.
and thus is one build behind for Xamarin Studio on the Mac as well. So you can either downgrade your Mac to a matching version or go back to VS 2015.

What do I need to install to develop Windows Phone app?

This might be a silly problem. My laptop has Windows 7. I have installed Visual Studio 2012. But there is no Windows Phone project. I have tried to install Windows Phone sdk 8 but it says that I need Windows 8 to install that.
I have tried to install Windows Phone sdk 7 but it says that I need Visual Studio 2010 service pack. I don't know what to do next.
You can't install the Windows Phone 8 SDK on Windows 7, so if you want to develop on Windows 7, you'll have to install the Windows Phone 7 SDK.
It includes Visual Studio 2010 Express for Windows Phone. If you already have VS2010 installed, the SP1 is indeed required.
