I am using TFS2018.3 and the recent build Agent.
if Tests fail, I don't get the Details displayed any more.
Instead I see error message:
We can't reach the server to fetch test results. Please refresh the page to try again.
Following the advise to refresh the page does not help.
What is the cause for this Issue?
I think I've found the cause. If I switch the Locale Language Settings back to German in my user profile the test results are shown correctly.
It's probably a TFS bug. Reported here: https://developercommunity.visualstudio.com/content/problem/556349/tests-tab-does-not-show-test-results.html

I want Kiwi to report bugs to JIRA. I have configured the JIRA bugtracker in the config page. I go to my test run an click on report. I select my JIRA issue tracker and click on report. Then I get no response. I check the Chrome's console, it shows JS error "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'rc' of undefined testrun_actions.js:460 ". Kiwi is 7.2 runnig in a docker conrainer.
How can I make this working?
This is definitely a bug. Maybe a couple of them. The UI should be more tolerant to these errors and inform the user what's going on.
As to why this happens I can't tell. This appears to be reported in
https://github.com/kiwitcms/Kiwi/issues/1333 which speaks about a TC text with 3.5KB size. This is quite a lot of text and depending on what JIRA accepts there may not be anything we can do about it.
Will follow up on the GitHub issue. If the original question isn't related please leave a comment indicating so.
In a test, I click a link (SSL Cert) link that does not actually load the expected URL page. It hangs and as far as I can tell no issues when I look at network or console. Is there a known issue with TestCafe and clicking certain kinds of links. Clicking the same link with Selenium and Robot Framework successfully takes you to the expected URL.
This information is not sufficient to reproduce the problem. Please create a separate issue in the TestCafe Github repository using the following form
I would appreciate it if you provide us with your project or url to your site and your test code. It will help us determine the cause of the issue efficiently.
Due to Atlassian IDE Connector is outdated, trying to use build in Task management system.
Adding server:
And then trying to browse tasks but getting error:
Cannot connect to https://*.atlassian.net Request failed. Reason: "Field 'summary' does not exist or this field cannot be viewed by anonymous users." "Field 'assignee' does not exist or this field cannot be viewed by anonymous users." "Field 'resolution' does not exist or this field cannot be viewed by anonymous users."
Maybe someone faced similar problem?
I had the same issue today. It started occurring when i tried to mark Update issue state to "In Progress"
From that point on every time i tried to work with this task or add new ones i got similar error messages.
The only solution that i could find was to remove the already affected tasks first.
And after that uncheck "Update issue state" in "Open Task" options.
Unfortunately now there is no way to influence task status from PHPStorm.
It's a temporary solution at best, hopefully Atlassian does something about this soon.
I've found a workaround for such an issue. It's working for me, however it's not perfect or handy in any way. phpStorm is collecting JIRA issue data somehow (it allows you to search thru the issue acronyms and lets you pick up one issue to time tracking). However with the problem which is occuring right now it's not possible for phpStorm to gather/update new issue data from connected projects to your account.
The workaround is to open the Atlassian Connector settings, JIRA Server section, when you have your credentials entered, just press "Test Connection". Probably it will report an error, but, surprisingly for me, task list in phpStorm is updated, new tasks appear...
Please try it, maybe this will work for you too?
Thought I would put a solution on this page found it in Chinese and it's really quite embarrassing I missed this as well.
The below is the ending point for working on a task which will give you the option to commit changes, merge branches, and yep Update Issue State.
Tools > Tasks & Context > Close Active Task... (Alt + Shift + W)
Just checked today, no errors and everything working fine.
I wasn't able to find anything helpful through google, so:
My Dart webapplication worked perfectly. Next time I opened Darteditor and (without changing anything) ran it again, Darteditor showed the Error
Breaking on exception: Strict get failed, invalid object.
This Error doesn't always show up and even when it does, the App still functions. Darteditor doesn't give me any hit where that Error occurs, because the debugger claims some source not to be available.
Does anyone know why/when this Error occurrs and what to do to fix it?
EDIT 1:
As suggested in comments:
updating Darteditor
pub cache repair
pub upgrade
Did not work
EDIT 2:
A Day after I tried the things mentioned in EDIT 1. Thus also after I rebooted the PC. At the moment, the Error doesn't appear anymore. I tried restarting the Darteditor after each try in EDIT 1 but nothing changed. Now...some of the things in EDIT 1 seem to have taken effect only after rebooting the PC. Not sure which of those though - am I supposed to answer my own question mentioning all 3 options from EDIT 1 or what should I do?
EDIT 3:
(Sorry for all the edits)
I changed some code now and the Error is back here again...
Sometimes it goes away, but not with a obvious reason like a specific line of code added/removed. Right now, ther is an additional line by the Error:
Application Cache NoUpdate event (https://www.google.ch/xjs/_/js/k=xjs.ntp.en_US.mqcA3JMW-QU.O/m=jsa,ntp,pcc,csi/rt=j/d=1/t=zcms/rs=AItRSTO3mHFV3hPPmf2KYlzqp_GC2s-5GQ:119)
Breaking on exception: Strict get failed, invalid object.
I get the same error message when I click the back button in Dartium,
or when I use the backspace key and the focus is not in an editable
field (which triggers the back button). I think it's either a bug in
Dart or Dartium. – Damien Aug 21 at 14:00
Interesting: When I pressed the back button in dartium, the error did
show up, but after this, it said something about application cache
(about 5 lines of text) and now I cannot reproduce the "strict get
failed" Error message – lucidbrot yesterday
pressing the back button in dartium, which I never did before, seemed to help in my case. Updating Darteditor again after this didn't change anything - the strict get error disappeared.
I won't accept this answer until somebody comments that it worked for him too, but I guess it is better to view here than as a comment to my question.
I have configured TFS 2010, but when I try to load the project dashboard for a team project, it returns a reporting service error so I am not able to see the "Task Burndown (hours)" and " Burn Rate (hours/day)". Other parts of the page are working fine.
The error is as:
An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted) Get Online Help
Cannot impersonate user for data source 'TfsReportDS'. (rsErrorImpersonatingUser) Get Online Help
Log on failed. (rsLogonFailed) Get Online Help
For more information about this error navigate to the report server on the local server machine, or enable remote errors
I got resolution finally....
Go to analysis service.
You will see database named as TFS_Analysis.
Go to Roles node.
View properties of "TfsWarehouseDataReader".
Click on Data Sources.
Now you will see Tfs_AnalysisDataSource.
Change access to "Read" and check "Read Definition" box. Now Click OK and You are Done.
The main problem was with SCHEMA CONFLICTS.
First identify which fields are causing schema conflicts, invoke GetWarehouseStatus and observe the XML which fields got conflicted, and in which collection. once you found the filed names then rename the fields with the help of below link.
geekswithblogs.net/Natalia/Default.aspx
msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee921480(v=VS.100).aspx
then rebuild your warehouse from tfs admin console, take a back up of old database in sql database and delete it .wait for some time (depends on warehouse time to refresh the cube or check the GetWarehouseStatus next day and check the xml ). to check this use below link
type //localhost:8080/tfs/TeamFoundation/Administration/v3.0/WarehouseControlService.asmx?op=GetProcessingStatus
I spend lot of time to resolve this issue, that's why posting the solution here, this may help some one... any queries related schema conflicts and Reporting services feel free to post me... iam not a expert but for sure i can help you out in this issues....
