I have a tDBLookupComboBox. All the text appears as "(MEMO)". I've checked the LookupSource dataset and the LookupField for all records contains the expected text. What could be wrong?
The problem is that the LookupField is of type varchar(max). To solve the problem I changed the LookupSource query to cast it to varchar(250).
I had this problem and could not find an answer online. I'm posting the question and answer so future visitors will be able to find the solution sooner.

Here's what I'm doing:
=IMPORTXML("https://www.predictit.org/api/marketdata/markets/7164", "/MarketData/Contracts/MarketContract/ID")
The other answers I've seen about this have said that Javascript would be the issue, but the page in question seems to load without it, and I've tried using IMPORTJSON and IMPORTFROMWEB to no avail.
Please help!
You are input incorrect parameter for the xmlpath, a proper formula should be as following and you need to spend sometime to find the correct xmlpath to extract the specific string or information you want,
=IMPORTXML("https://www.predictit.org/api/marketdata/markets/7164","//a/#href")
Here is one example from Google:
=IMPORTXML("https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon_landing", "//a/#href")
Adding a PDF-Viewer tab to present/show a Sharepoint document has been working before.
I've tried this in January and it seemed to be an easy task - just get the DriveItem ID and URL (from GET /groups/{group-id}/drive/items/{item-id}) and edit the sample from the API Reference with these values (https://learn.microsoft.com/de-de/graph/teams-configuring-builtin-tabs#word-excel-powerpoint-and-pdf-tabs).
Now, that i want to use this, it doesn't work anymore ;-( The tab is created, added to channel, the name of the file shows BUT there is no document!!! What am i missing? Has the format changed? Has someone lately gotten this to work???
Please let me know, how! ;-)
ps: there is no description of the property "entityID" that makes any sense, can anyone explain it?

Got the answer, was a Syntax problem!
The "contentURL" property needs to be unescaped (in this case the "%20"). It is that simple after all ;-)
Also i found out, the "entityID" property has no meaning for the File used. It can be "null" actually! I still use the ItemID i got from the DriveItem of the File.
For unescaping i used:
string contentUrl = Uri.UnescapeDataString(webUrl);
If it wasn't for this post I would have not gotten it figured out, so thank you!
For me I ended up having to make entityID null, just unescaping the contentURL didn't do it for me alone.
Thanks for your comment. leaving entityID null fixed my isse also.
I opend an issue to have the docs fixed!
I am writing tests for view files. I have a page with two checkboxes which allows the user to Select All items in two different lists. However, the checkboxes are part of a partial so are identical. I have managed to check the first one using:
first(:checkbox, "Select all").click
But I am unable to check the second. I have tried replacing first with last and with second but to no avail.
I think I may need to use the find selector but am struggling with that also. Any help much appreciated.
Thanks
UPDATE
It appears that this in fact another issue. I think that any checkbox that impacts on other checkboxes does not work as expected when "checked" by Capybara. So the current answers below work in the sense that they do check the checkbox, but the expected behaviour does not occur i.e. the checkboxes linked to them do not get "checked". I may be wrong though.
try this
# find the second checkbox
find('input[type="checkbox"]:nth-child(2)').click
You can use find all
all('input[type="checkbox"]', :text => 'Select all')[1].click
Whoops. Turns out it was a JS issue and not Capybara macthers! Thanks for the help though!
First, please don't ask me why I need to do this. Unless you can tell me how to convert a TFDDataset directly to a _RecordSet, please, don't ask. :-)
So, this is my question:
Give a TFDDataset, how can I convert that dataset into a TADODataset?
The TFDDataMove component will only move to a FireDac dataset, not to anything else.
What strategy would you recommend? Brute force (iterate over fields and records...) is the only thing I can think of, but perhaps I'm missing some easier or better way.
Thanks.
OK, I ported it to Delphi XE4 and also started adding bookmark support so you can hook it with a TADODataSet and use TDataSource and data-aware controls. There still seems to be a little bug somewhere which causes the dbgrid raise a "grid index out of range" error if you navigate to the last record immediately after switching to the ADO dataset. Anyway, here's what I have.
Merry Christmas, Nick!

I use nested database stuctures with TClientDataSets. I'm new to programming so my lingo is ten-to-one wrong.
My problem is as follows: I defined my database stucture and all the fields of the nested stuctures and then I called the CreatDataSet method of the master clientDataSet and it worked. I then wanted to add another data field to the master ClientDataSet. I then called the ClearData method of the Master ClientDataSet and then tried to create the new stucture by calling CreateDataSet again. It is here where I encounter my problem. I get the 'Invalid field type error' and I don't really know or understand what what the problem is.
So how do I create an exsta field after I called the createdata set method, then called the cleardata method, then added a field and then calling the createdataset method again without getting the 'invalid field type error?
Does anybody have any information about this problem. I use Delphi 2007

It is a Delphi bug.
Call YourDataset.FieldDefs.Clear before calling CreateDataSet and it should work.
For more infomation please look at this QC Report:

EDIT:
After reading your problem more carefully, the problem might be something else, but please try the FieldDefs.Clear and let me know the results.
It has been a long time since you asked this question, but I believe the problem has specifically to do with the nested dataset fields. I've seen this error before, and I believe that it has to do with the order in which the particular fields are created. If I remember correctly, if you try to create the master dataset before the nested dataset fields are defined or created, you get this invalid field type error.
Begin by removing your nested dataset fields from the equation and see if you still get the problem. If not, then add them back. Try creating the master dataset and its nested datasets in different orders.
I know this is late, but I hope it helps.
