ARKit2 Video Asset Streaming - augmented-reality

I am building an app in Arkit2 that will render video over 2d photos. The HD videos (.MP4 files) I have are about above 25 MB. I have about 50 of them in the app.
To reduce the app size I am streaming the app videos from our web server. But this is making my Bandwidth go through the roof. And if I had hundreds of users streaming the videos, our hosting bill would be ridiculous.
Is there a way we can stream from Youtube or other similar services instead? I have tried to do this unsuccessfully in Arkit2
I'd really appreciate feedback and suggestions on this.

How do I download multiple Video impression developments from youtube analytics?

I have quite a bit of videos uploaded on youtube and would like to analyse the CTR and impression development of each video. Currently youtube analytics only allows me to manually download the data for each separate video. Is there a way of maybe automating the process and scrape the data off all videos at once?

Fast uploading video and play without buffering video from URL

In my Application I'm capturing 10 second of video and upload to server by FTP and Other user can watch this video by URL(s) from web service response.
As per my question I want to capture video with good quality with small size so It easy to upload video by FTP. Right now I'm using .mp4 video formate to upload video if anybody know best video formation that can increase uploading speed then guide me.
Second I'm getting all those uploaded video in the response of web service as a URL(s).
In response there are many URLs so I need to play video in queue means one-by-one and end user can do swipe left to move on NEXT video and swipe RIGHT to previous video. You can see my code here.
Every thing is working good but problem is take much time to upload and play (buffering time) video.
Please guide me on this points.
COMMENT : Get success in the compress video 20 MB to 1.6 MB so uploading speed bit increase and Right now working with AVQueuePlayer for play video in queue but some time stuck video to playing.
Yes,
May you upload video using chunk data in base64 format.
This is faster then FTP video upload & also useful when your internet connection is lost same time when you upload video in sequence.
You can upload your files via SFTP, it is speed than FTP I think. Also your videos may bad performance with plays on http protocol.
You should follow this lines, I hope it will help you;
Upload video via SFTP or Amazon S3
Install to your server a stream engine like Wowza or Red5
Transcode video for mobile (Usually wowza makes auto)
Stream your videos over rtsp for android, hls (http) for ios
That its!
Good luck

Playing youtube videos with progressive downloading

My application has a custom video player which should be played with youtube links (just to save me the hassle and money from making my own server side and stream videos from there).
Here are some facts that I believe are true:
Youtube prohibits any use of custom players except UIWebView and MPMoviePlayerController.
Youtube doesn't share rtsp links for iOS devices, so I'm left with progressive downloading.
Apple clearly states in the documentation that progressive downloading is possible only for small clips (under 10 minutes or 5MB/5min ratio).
I've downloaded the application 'iTube' which allows you to watch youtube links with playlist control in the device. I was wondering how did they make it work for them. The app obviously uses progressive download as it downloaded 30MB after I've watched ~1 minute of the video (over 3G).
Question: Does Apple allow applications to break the policy of progressive download when youtube links are involved (because youtube doesn't offer any alternative)? or is this application just went under Apple's radar?
Thank you
OK as it turns out, this application just slipped under Apple's radar.
I've asked this question in the developer's forum and got the answer from one of Apple's employees:
You would have to disable downloading over cellular if the clip is over 10 minutes.
I'll forward this to the app review people.
The question I've asked is here: https://devforums.apple.com/message/966814#966814
(You need developer account to get in there)
Thanks all
If your video longer than 10 minutes, you need to use HLS streaming for your apps. For example you can upload your videos to http://int10h.com get HLS link and stream. Good luck

Hosting and streaming video to an ios app

I am about to build an app that initially displays thumbnails of high quality videos. When users click on a thumbnail, they will go through iOS's in-app payment system to pay for the video and once that is complete, the video will open and start playing in Quicktime(iphones native video player).
Can you please suggest where i should host my videos? Does apple provide video uploads as well or is there a simple to use tool that allows this? I am looking for a service that will let me upload or delete high quality videos whenever needed so that non tech people can administer too. Then i can easily just link those videos to my app.
Thanks in advance
Depends on format if its just progressive download mp4 you could contract with any of the hosting companies, they start at 5.00 - 100 dollars monthly depending on what you need. the higher priced ones offer dedicated servers that can run .net or php, you could take a service for instance that hosts at 5.00 a month,, right a simple php app that does the security or get a pre-built one.
If you want to do real streaming using HLS then you need a server that can support it, one though a bit expensive is wowzma, prices vary but it is usually quite expensive.

What is the best video live streaming service/API for a Rails app?

What I'm looking for:
live streaming video - broadcast, 1:1
ability to record streams
up to 10 video streams at the same time
I've tested OpenTok but the quality isn't there for larger videos. Any alternatives or should I write my own?
