sdk grails and lazybones init fatal error - grails

I can't use grail and lazybones installed via sdkman.
I have got fatal errors.

$ lazybones list
Can't connect to pledbrook/lazybones-templates: Unable to make member of class sun.net.www.protocol.https.HttpsURLConnectionImpl accessible: module java.base does not export sun.net.www.protocol.https to unnamed module #75f65e45

To me that looks like an SSL handshake error when grails is doing some of its initialisation work for create app. It might be attempting to pull down some required jar files etc.
What does sdk list grails show?
What does which grails and which javareturn?
I've not used jdk 9 heaps so might be worthwhile investigating changing that also. I think you'll find switching to jdk8 will have better results. Each jdk comes with a list of standard root certificate authorities it trusts.
Maybe with the recent security issues like the one surrounding the Symantec CAs jdk9 might have removed these but the server grails is connecting to is still using one perhaps.
Edit: I think you may also have been using an internal development build version of Java 9 jdk. as you reported to using build 9-internal+0-2016-04-14-195246.buildd
Try using jdk 8 or installing a newer version of Java 9.

I can't get the h2o to work in my R. It shows the following error. Have no clue what it means. Previously it gave me an error because I didn't have Java 64 bit version. I downloaded the 64bit - restarted my pc - and started the process again and now it gives me this error.
Any suggestions?

Why do I get a 403 error when trying to start Grails 3.1.12?

I'm trying to run Grails 3.1.12 on Mac OSX (10.11.5).
grails -version gives me the following output:

And then if I run grails --stacktrace --verbose I get this:

Jenkins: How can I see which plugin is causing dependency error?

I am trying to install all the dependencies of the pipeline plugin in Jenkins. I am stuck on the workflow-scm plugin. If I enable it I get the error below which I assume is a dependency problem. All it dependencies are installed but some versions vary. I would like to see which plugin is causing the problem rather than upgrade all it dependencies hoping that it will fix the problem. The error does not give any clue on that. Is there a log file I can look at?
These are the installed dependencies versions:
workflow-cps dependencies:
script-security (version:1.21) OK (1.22 installed)
workflow-scm-step (version:1.15) OK (2.2 installed)
ace-editor (version:1.0.1) OK (1.1 installed)
workflow-support (version:2.1) OK (2.2 installed)
workflow-step-api (version:2.3) OK (2.3 installed)
scm-api (version:1.1) OK (1.1 installed)
support-core (version:2.32, optional) OK (2.32 installed)
structs (version:1.3) OK (1.2 installed)
workflow-api (version:2.1) OK (2.1 installed)
jquery-detached (version:1.2.1) OK (1.2.1 installed)

No, there is no additional logfiles.
You could try starting over from scratch:
shutdown Jenkins
remove all *workflow* and *pipeline* files/directories in $JENKINS_HOME/plugins
put plugin installation files (.hpi) for all workflow/pipeline plugins to the $JENKINS_HOME/plugins folder
start Jenkins
Instead of step 3, you could use the plugin manager GUI -- but I guess this is what you tried in the first place.

grails 3.1 - Failed to load latest version of profile [angular]

Not sure where to go on this as I have setup proxy details using GRAILS_OPTS - can anyone suggest anything to try, please?
I thought profiles were bundled, so can you disable checking for latest profile versions, as a workaround?
Just downloaded grails 3.1 using sdkman (earlier grails versions wouldn't download, but other candidates e.g. groovy, did work - not sure what changed) and made it default candidate.
$ echo $GRAILS_OPTS
"-Dhttp.proxyHost=proxy, -Dhttp.proxyPort=8080, -Dhttp.proxyUser=me, Dhttp.proxyPassword=password, -Dhttps.proxyHost=proxy, -Dhttps.proxyPort=8080, -Dhttps.proxyUser=me, -Dhttps.proxyPassword=password"

Gordon.
Meet the same issue. Looks like the Maven local repository files was broken during the development process.
To fix the problem remove all files from the folder (MacOS/Linux): /Users/username/.m2/repository/org/grails/profiles/angular/3.1.0
(Windows)
C:\Documents and Settings\username\.m2\org\grails\profiles\angular\3.1.0
Then restart grails console.
Try to set the following environment variable:
export JAVA_OPTS="-Dhttp.proxyHost=proxy.yourcompany.com -Dhttp.proxyPort=8080 -Dhttps.proxyHost=proxy.yourcompany.com -Dhttps.proxyPort=8080"
I have no idea what I'm talking about but I think grails is trying to do some ssh to github.
If your proxy is blocking it, there is no way around it.
I can clone from github with https, but not with ssh : see github help
So i cannot grails create-app, etc.

IntelliJ doesn't support Grails 3 yet - it has been requested in their bug tracker.
You can easily run the app from a commandline and use the IDE as an editor.
Intellij Idea 15 supports Grails 3 or higher. You can see from the following:
https://www.jetbrains.com/help/idea/2016.1/getting-started-with-grails-3.html
