I need to upload a build of my app to test flight, Now my client has given me an admin role in app store connect only and didn't add my apple id in developer.apple.com.
Can I upload the app to test flight?
If yes, How can I do that?
If no, what is the next procedure I should follow?
I am confused as in why the developer portal and app store connect have been separated and need to know about it too.
P.S: This is the first time I am uploading app, so bear with me.
Login in https://developer.apple.com
Tap on Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles
In the left side menu , under Identifiers tap on App id option
Add your app there with unique name. (com.yourappname.domain)
Add certificates and provisioning profiles.
Take ref from this link https://help.apple.com/app-store-connect/#/dev34e9bbb5a
Login to iTunes connect
My apps, your added app will be visible there.
After all the setup upload your app on app store.
Go to the App store connect , your uploaded app will visible under activity section.
Add testers for testflight .
Once your app completes review from tesflight a notification to all added testers will be sent with a build link.
Remember Uploading app on testflight is same as uploading app on app store.
but app will be not uploaded on app store untill you Submit app for Review. Tesflight only make the build available to added testers.
you do need a Paid Developer Account to put your app on TestFlight or the App Store. if you have you can.
just follow the steps below

Recently I submitted an IOS app to the app store and they reject the app because of some issues. Now I fix all those issues and I need to resubmit the app. What are the steps to resubmit the app again for the review?
Thanks in advance
Resubmit the app for review follow the below steps:
Change/correct the things what apple mentioned while rejecting.
Change the build version number.
Then upload the new archive build to app store, in the itunes
connect it takes some time (approx - 20 - 30 min) for reflecting the
new build.
You can check the status of the app in your itunes connect account. login to your account and select your app, in the app description page select Activity section from the top options panel and select the left side panel options like All builds, app store versions etc..
Yes, you should press that button by selecting the new IPA that you have uploaded and proceed to allow them to review again. As the application is binary rejected so, you have to upload new IPA with the fixes they have suggested. if it is something related to metadata then you only have to fix the description and resubmit.
Hope it helps.
I have uploaded the iOS app by one apple account (currently, app is not approved). Now I want to upload this app by other apple account. And I will delete the app by first account. After that can I upload this app by other account.
Please suggest can I upload this app by other account without changing the name of app.
Thanks in advance.
You would need the same account to upload your app to appstore as it would use same distribution certificate, Provisioning profile and Bundle identifier.
Otherwise you may go for App Transfer.

I've developed a phonegap app and have it working and deployed to Android. But I don't know much about iOS and don't have a ton of Apple gear. I have a developer account to deploy to the store, but would like to pass the apps to some friends with various devices to take a look at it before I deploy it to the store. These friends aren't local (as in, plugging in the devices).
What are my options with this? Can I create an ad-hoc certificate and send them the app to install or what do I do?
Any guides etc would be helpful. At this stage, I really don't want to go spending £1000 on Apple gear.
Go for TestFlight. Apple bought it and integrate with itune connect for Testing purpose. You have to create a provisioning profile to distribute your application with it and you have have internal test and even 1000 testers external with need of there UDID.
You guess is right, create an Ad-Hoc profile, make sure your friends device UDID is linked in the profile and send it to him.
The other option is to use iTunesConnect TestFlight, upload the app to iTunesConnect and release it a an internal beta. Register your friend as an technical member of you iTunesConnect account which will allow him to install the app use the TestFlight app from the App Store.
Last option is a public beta in TestFlight, for this option you do not need to register you friend as technical member of you iTunesConnect account. But you will have to send in your app for review with Apple. After review you can invited up to a 1000 beta test by mail.
The main advantage of the iTunesConnect Testflight it that you do not need the device UDID of your friends device. He can install the app on multiple device with the use of the same Apple ID that he registered for the invite.
I am doing an iOS project for a client and they gave me access to their developer program and iTunes Connect (which actually only have one app in store, the one I'm developing). Unfortunately, because my main account has already been associated to another iTunes Connect, I gave them another account which I created just for using their iTunes Connect. When I tried submitting the app to the store for Beta Testflight, it said that I don't have the rights to do so. So, how do I use a different iTunes Connect to submit to the store? If I can't do that, is there any other way besides making a new Apple account and having to ask the client to invite it again to both the developer's program and iTunes Connect (and also setting it up again from making a certificate, provisioning profiles, etc)?
Thanks in advance.
I ran into the same problem with a project.
It worked when i archived the application and uploaded it to iTunes connect using apple's application loader, you can sign in with the account you want to upload the app to.

I created an app on itunes connect, and created all the provision profiles for it.
The next day, when I logged into the developer account, it said i had no apps ?
And I have to create things all over again?
How do I get to the details of my app?
iTunes Connect is not where you create provisioning profiles.
Provisioning profiles are created in the Apple developer portal in the iOS Dev Center.
iTunes connect is then where you create actual apps for upload to the App Store. When you first create the app there are a LOT of mandatory fields. Even things like the icons and screenshots of the app are mandatory. If you haven't completed these then the app will not be created no matter how many times you press save.
I imagine that something was probably missing from the information and so it wouldn't let you save the app.
However, if the app was created then you will have received an email telling you that the app was created. Did you get an email?
