Attaching Visio files to TFS 2018 Wiki page - tfs

I have an on premise TFS. I would like to attach a Visio file to a wiki page. According to TFS documentation that file type was added to 2018. However, when attempted I get a message that the file type is not supported.
Thoughts?

Seems it's an issue for the version 16.122.27409.2.
The solution is upgrading to the latest update version of TFS 2018 (TFS 2018 Update2, Version 16.131.27701.1).

Move a TFS 2012 project collection to Azure DevOps 2019

I've found this article about moving collections between TFS and DevOps:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/devops/server/admin/move-project-collection?view=azure-devops
TFS 2012 isn't listed beneath the article heading, so I'm assuming it's not possible to move a 2012 collection to Azure DevOps. Can anyone confirm or otherwise?
I guess I could just try it, but I would need to do so out of hours to avoid the disruption of detaching the collection from the live TFS 2012 server. Now I can reattach it once it has been backed-up right?!
It isn't supported, as you can find in the Azure DevOps Services Migration Guide and the Migration tool, the current oldest version supported is Tfs2018 Update 3. So you will need to upgrade to that version first.
Do note that this will also mean that you need to upgrade the SQL server database your are using to MSSQL 2016.

TFS 2013 EPIC not available

My TFS version is 2013.4 and I need EPIC workitem type in the Scrum 2013.4 process template.
I was trying to follow the instructions here but EPIC.XML is not found in the process template. Can anyone please let me know will I be able to make the following changes to get the EPICS? Where should I download the EPIC.XML file to import it?
https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/tfssetup/2015/09/16/configuring-the-epics-for-upgraded-team-projects-in-team-foundation-server-tfs-2015/
TFS 2013 did not have an epic work item type. Upgrade to a modern version of TFS.
Although you may be able to backport the work item type into prior versions of TFS, you won't have any of the additional features that were released in TFS 2015 around backlog management.

MS Project 2013 Error Loading Saved Query for TFS Integration

I am trying to set up an integration with MS Project 2013 with TFS 2017 I have not tried this before. so i am not sure if there is a problem with my pc setup or the addin configuration. This is the error i get when trying to open saved query:
Error Converting Value "System.Security.Principal.WindowsIdentity;xxx" to type 'Microsoft.VisualStudio.Identity.Services.IdentityDiscriptor'.Path 'authenticatedUser.descriptor'. line 1 postion 168
I am able to load it from Visual Studio 2015 in the workitems load the Query and then click "Open in Microsoft Office" then choose MS Project. this loads successfully. but i do get errors that I can't publish changes. It asked to restart Project and try again
I cannot reproduce this issue with project 2013 and TFS 2017.
Check Addins’ key in registry (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\MS Project\Addins), change newest addin (e.g. TFCOfficeShim.Connect.5) LoadBehavior to 3 and others to 0, then try to open saved query in Project 2013 and check the result.
If still don’t work, try to repair your project product.
I have uninstalled Office 365 and Project 2013. Restarted my PC and installed Project 2013 and this fixed this issue.
The issue came back and did some more google searches. I found the answer as part of a bug kb
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3181963/excel-or-project-cannot-connect-to-tfs-2010-or-tfs-2012-servers
After installing this update and rebooting it works.

TFS Upgrade From 2012 to 2015 Retain history

We currently have a TFS 2012 Server which is being replaced by a 2015 server, the aim is to gradually migrate our code from one to the other.
When we do this we would like to maintain the checkin history, labels etc, Looking at similar questions the answer seemed to be to use the integration toolkit, however it looks like it (and its successor the integration platform) do not support TFS 2015.
We are using TFVC rather than git, if that makes a difference.
I don't have much knowledge about the integration toolkit, but I would actually suggest to do the upgrade one Team Project Collection at a time, but moving them separately to a new server with TFS 2015 installed. This way you will keep all history, label etc.
We have done this way back when upgrading from TFS 2010 to TFS 2013. Only obstacle that we had was a collection around 500 GB in size so it took around 16 hours for the upgrade to finish.
The following answer specifies the steps needed to move a collection to another server:
Copy TFS 2012 collection to another server with TFS 2015 Installed
We have used this Migration tool for our Client.
It’s possible to migrate TFS 2012 data to TFS 2015 with all information intact without any system downtime. The premium version of OpsHub Visual Studio Migration Utility (OVSMU) supports migration of projects with TFVC repository from one instance to another. It supports the 2010, 2012, 2013, and 2015 versions of TFS and all versions of Visual Studio Online, including the 2017 version. Along with basic data, you can migrate all workitems with history, comments, attachments, relationships, and source control with changesets, history, labels, comments, etc. You can checkout the details here: https://www.opshub.com/products/opshub-visual-studio-migration-utility/

No Build Process Templates available in TFS 2015

I'm trying to create a new Build Definition in TFS 2015 but when I get to the Process section there are no templates available for me to select. This server was upgraded from 2013 to 2015. I don't know if the templates existed in 2013. How do I get the default templates?
Update
Found TfvcTemplate.12.xaml here, added it to source control, clicked new browsed to it and still nothing.
Ask the admin to check your account's permission in the Security of XAML Build Definition, it seems you don't have View build definition permission:
