Change back office language from Russian to English in Prestashop 1.6 - prestashop-1.6

I am trying to work on my Prestashop back office and the language is set to Russian which I don't understand. I would like to change the language to English and I have tried Translating the steps given on this forum and others into Russian but Google Translate does not seem to help here. Giving the procedure in Russian or how to configure that from the files will be of great help.

For anyone who may run into a similar problem next time, I solved this by looking for 'ЛОКАЛИЗАЦИЯ' on the left bar which is an equivalent for 'My preferences' and I selected 'Язык' which translates to 'Language' and the active languages showed up. Under the enable button named 'Энаблед' I disabled Russian which was already active.

Flemish Localization in Xcode

I need to add flemish (flamand language) in my project localizations.
I didn't found it.
I found that we can use Nederland, but I'm not sure.
Does someone got an idea ?
I'm putting (Dutch Belgium) at this time, but once again, i'm not sure.
Many thx
I believe Flemish is the same as Dutch-Belgium: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flemish.
You should ask your client what they mean with Flemish, but I've had trouble getting a Dutch-Netherlands translation to appear at all on a device, but just "Dutch" worked fine.
So I think it's best to just add "Dutch" (=nl) translation, and not use Dutch-Belgium (=nl-BE). You should do some testing, but both Dutch speaking users from The Netherlands and Belgium should see the translation then.

Using an old version of N2CMS, how can I use .no instead of /no to change language?

The project I am working with is using an old version (v.2.1.0.1) of N2CMS.
To start with, I want to avoid upgrading to the latest N2 version, not because I don't like new things (because I do) but because since I am using such an old version it would take a lot of efford trying to upgrade it and if there's a way to solve this issue in a more time efficient way then I need to do that instead.
What I need to do is to enable the url to set the languageroot for the website and having it not only rely on the /lang. For example, i want my website.se to point towards /sv and my website.no to point towards /no. Right now .se is default so no matter the URL, swedish is the language shown. The twist is, and the reason for why I need it done this way, that I am loading data from another database and showing it on the site, list of categories and products (/keyrings for example). These things don't have the /sv or /no in the url. The result here is that even if I get /no to working along side the .no url, as soon as I click on an item in that list without the language code in the url then I will automatically be redirected to the default swedish languageroot. So I want to completely rely the N2CMS languageroot on the URL and not the /lang. I know that this is possible in the later versions of N2CMS but I am hoping there's a workaround in the older versions as well.
In this version I have a startpage and under the startpage i have languageroots. Each language root has the option to enter an URI Name, in my case i have swedish and norwegian so that's /sv and /no. An example from the site could look like this: /sv/om-oss, the norwegian way would be /no/om-oss.
In the later versions (that I use for other and newer projects) I have just the startpage and in its settings I am able to enter the hostname, this is what I want for my site (not necessarily have it changable in N2CMS, it's easier to just have it coded in).
Does anyone have any experience in this, or knowledge deeper than mine when it comes to these sort of things?
Just for record, this problem got solved http://n2cms.codeplex.com/discussions/397494

Jenkins in Windows shows UI in russian language

I am from Ukraine.
When I open Jenkins in the browser I see all the UI in Russian.
I am running Jenkins on Windows.
However - there is no Russian in Windows configuration "Region and Settings".
Format - English(United States).
Location - United States.
Only the Timezone is Ukrainian - UTC +02:00.
Is it possible to force Jenkins to show the UI in English language?
PS.
I did not have such a problem with Hudson before.
Locale Plugin helped to change the default locale to English.
I changed the language in the configuration of Chrome and now Jenkins is in English :)
By default, Jenkins uses the default language of your browser, if it is set. To change it, you could do the follow.
1. Download and install the locale plugin:
From the main page of Jenkins, go to Manage Jenkins -> Manage Plugins
Click on Availables
Check the "Locale plugin" and clicks on "Download now and install after restart".
Jenkins will download the plugin and restart if not job has been scheduled.
2. Set the language:
Once the plugin has been installed, change the language using following steps:
From the main page of Jenkins, go to Manage Jenkins -> Configure System.
Under Locale, there will be a field called "Default Language". Enter the new language. It could be "en" or "ENGLISH".
Under the text box, check the checkBox called "Ignore browser preference and force this language to all users".
Locale Plugin helped to change default locale to en.
A better and more simple solution is to just remove Russian from Chrome.
In other words, change Browser Language Settings.
e.g. for Chrome, Go to Chrome Settings -> Language -> Remove selected language.
You have to install the Locale plugin, which is already available but not installed as default, and then under Manage System > Locale insert "Locale.ENGLISH" in java style.
Maybe you can try this
$ sudo languagesetup
and choose 1) Use English for the main language to change it back.

By default, Jenkins takes your browser language. To change it, you need to install Locale plugin and set proper language to ignore browser preferences. Go to Manage Jenkins -> Configure System, find Default Language and set what you need.

Seems like chrome has an issue on this,
It kept sending Hebrew as the first option in the
Accept-Language on the header
although English was set to be the top-language on the list (Chrome settings > Languages)
Solution
And only after I've added some other language (Russian for instance) and set it to be the 'top' and then set the English back to be the 'top' it solved!
All you need to do is change your browser's language settings and put english first.
My operating system is windows 10. I want to use English languages for Jenkins UI.
For Region & Languages, I added Turkish and English my default setting is English, however, Jenkins UI is Turkish. If I remove Turkish Jenkins UI looks fine and it turns on English.
My solution is pretty simple: use an extension in Chromium compatible browsers like this https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/locale-switcher/kngfjpghaokedippaapkfihdlmmlafcc, that lets you change the locale of the browser easily.
This solution works not only for Jenkins, but for many other websites, and doesn't require to restart Jenkins.
You can test the web with differents languages.

Changing the Messages for required Fields in IntraWeb

When setting the Required property of a IntraWeb control I get a nice little message box saying "Bezeichnung is a required field" if I leave it blank.
How can I change the Text of those messages?
(My application is in german language)
Well, I finally found a hint in the atozed-Forums:
Copying IWResourceStrings.pas to my projects main folder and changing the needed strings to german works for me...
Maybe someone else will find this helpfull, too one day ;-)
