I'm trying to flash Beaglebone back from element14 by step on Getting Started page , it can't flash or boot on sdcard on deabian 9.1 LXQT or 9.3 loT lasteset Firmware Image, but I can flash on Old Firmware debian7.5 from step
"dd if=/dev/mmcblk0 of=/dev/mmcblk1" on stackoverflow this page.

wine fixme wait_for_withdrawn_state window

I am running a Windows execuable (.exe) using wine, in a docker container and I am dumping the graphical interface using xvfb-run. The setup is working but with some fixmes and some errors which I am trying to understand what do they mean.
The most common and fixme is:

I found here that it means that:
Your application X Windows are possibly staying in a Withdrawn (aka limbo) state - because Wine isn't drawing to the correct X (Xvfb) Display.
However I do not understand what is this withdrawn state and why wine isn't drawing to the corrcect X. Furthermore the same fixme is present when running wine with xvfb locally without docker.

I'm trying to read the system voltage, adc.readvdd33() always returns 65535.
This is the code I'm using, obviously just like in the docs:

I've read about an issue with this in older SDK versions, is this something similar or what am I doing wrong? It's the same with an ESP01, an ESP01S and an ESP12F.
Is there a limitation using adc with other packages or having something wired to a specific pin?

Intel Edison + Ubilinux + USB to UART = USB Device not created

Dear community members,
We are working in the development of a robot autonomous control system running inside an Intel Edison, which -in turn- runs in a PixHawk automatic pilot module . This system uses ROS (Robot Operating System) and therefore we had to install Ubilinux. Our system requires being connected with a 360-degree laser (RPLIDAR-360) that sends data through a serial channel, so we are trying to get laser's data through USB-to-UART adapter (Silicon lab's CP2102) (the PixHawk only has a USB available for data transfer).
In summary, the laser is connected to the USB2UART adapter, and the adapter is connected to Edison's serial port.
However, we are stuck with some kind of driver issue. When tracing 'dmesg' the device is detected (idVendor=10c4, idProduct=ea60):

The 'make' process crashes due to a lack of headers. We were unable to download the headers through APT, but at the end, we managed to compile the '.ko' module by downloading the headers manually from a Website.
However, after doing:
insmod cp210x.ko
We got:
Insmod: ERROR: could not insert module cp210x.ko: Invalid module format
So, at this point we have several questions... any advice about any of them would be really appreciated:
Does anybody know how to install the Kernel headers in Ubilinux - 3.10.17?
What is the official procedure to upgrade the Kernel in Ubilinux?, we already have ROS working on the board... do you think a kernel upgrade could mess our ROS configuration?
In general, do you have any successful experience in the configuration of a cp210x device?

The driver for cp2102 already exist in kernel, no need of extra efforts. Just use the correct udev rule file (not present by default in linux distro). An example is here. With this file /dev/ttyUSBX will be created.

CouchDB 1.3.1 on Centos 6.4

I compiled CouchDB and installed. It seems to work great except when I use views on the database, then it just spins the wheel and nothing happens and the cpu load spikes to 100% and slowly it eats away all memory and starts to swap a lot which in return increases the cpu load.
I have tried both with the js-1.70-12 that comes with centos 6.4, as well as build and install my own js-1.85-1. All erlang packages are installed from epel :

Every thing configures and makes and installs as expected. You can dump data into the database, you can create documents and all that. But I can not run any view, temporary or not.

Your compilation and installation looks fine. At least your error (note: eaddrinuse in traceback) is about that there is some process that listens same address and port as your CouchDB try to. Check other listening processes with netstat -anp command or change CouchDB's listen port to different.

I want to headless test WebGL code using Xvfb. Does anybody know how to do that?

With modern X11, you would be better off ignoring Xvfb and using the dummy display driver. See the "Additional notes" at http://www.x.org/wiki/XorgTesting for information about using it (you would presumably specify a custom xorg.conf with the necessary Device section). http://www.karlrunge.com/x11vnc/Xdummy is another way to use the dummy driver.
