Prism NavigationService and MasterDetail on iOS, with Xamarin Forms - ios

Description
I have this strange behaivor using NavigationService with my MasterDetail on iOS.
When I click the option in the menu calls a command from the ViewModel

There is a slight delay when the transition is made between the pages, and back button appears and then disappears.
On Android works perfectly.

but my question is the opposite one: how to prevent swiping back
-> if you observe inAppWebview it will stop working swipe back only for the first page but all other ( inner pages ) will work perfectly I want to stop swipe back all pages without use of gesture detect
so is there ant way to do this?
I tried a lot but it's not possible to swipe either we can override the whole method from scratch in IOS or a simple solution is that we can add forward and backward button in the app bar of the app

React native orientation is not working || locking on IOS

I created an app with React-native. All pages I made are designed for portrait mode except 1 page. The page accessibility comes from a button onPress then navigates to the page, so I can't lock orientation on Xcode
I installed this package and I can run it on android perfectly

When I tried it on IOS simulator on every page it can turns orientation to landscape.
I put this line in every pages componentdidmount but nothing changes.

What should I do?

I use React Native Orientation Locker Library
The important parts are:
Make sure that you linked the library manually (check AppDelegate.m)
You need to make a logic for unlocking and lock the portrait mode depends on your use-case
Please take a look at HomeScreen and DetailScreen

Is there a way to catch and cancel the back button event in a NativeScript app on the iOS platform?

I'm working on a NativeScript-Angular app for both Android and iOS but have hit a problem with standard back button navigation. I have resolved the issue for Android, but cannot find a solution for iOS.
The event is causing a problem when going back to a particular page where routing data is expected, resulting in the exception:
"Error: Currently in page back navigation - component should be reattached instead of activated".
My Android solution catches the back button event and cancels it, then calls the router to do the navigation.

I want to do something similar with iOS, such as: -

I can't find a way of doing this for iOS - my research is leading me to the conclusion it is not possible to cancel the iOS back button - for example, see here.
Any ideas or alternative suggestions greatly appreciated!
You can't override the back button for iOS. See this SO question. You basically need to create a custom button, you can mimic the appearance of the back button on iOS and add your own event handler. That's how you'd do it in a native iOS app, and how you do it in NativeScript since the native controls are used via NativeScript.
The actionbar in nativescript can have a custom layout inside or you can just use an action-item and position it on the left for iOS, while also hiding the button on Android if you desire.
Another solution would be, instead of catching the back button event just to throw it away/disable it - to just clear the history after you are switching a page where there no "back" to go to.

How can I use material-ripple to create a button-like component?

I want to create a button-like component with ripple animation and it looks like this:

In the past, this works fine because when I click on this custom element, I actually clicks on material-ripple and the click event bubbles to the host element.
As of angular_components 0.5.1, material-ripple shows a centered ripple on keypress. This is different from clicking because the event target is the host element itself and not the ripple component.
Is there a way that I can pass a keypress event down to the material-ripple, so that the ripple animation would be played? Or is there a way to play the animation programmatically?
After some research, I've come up with a solution using dart:html.

Although this does not work in Dartium due to some bugs around KeyEvent and KeyboardEvent, it works fine in Chrome.

JavaFX8: Application in fullscreen mode doesn't show focus on elements

I have the following problem: I would like to see which textfield or button is focused when I enter my multiscreen application in fullscreen mode. But for some reason, it is not showing the focus "glow" around for example a textfield. This is not a major problem, while it is focused the way I want it (requestFocus() does its job).
But it now gets annoying when I want to use AutoComplete TextField Completion from ControlsFX (How to implement AutoComplete TextField using ControlsFX), because the list is not shown in full screen mode.
I will clarify the situation with these screenshots:

To be clear: the problem doesn't only exist with AutoComplete TextField, but with every FXML element.
If I use the fullscreen mode from OSX itself, it works the proper way (It gives an error on the background). But I want the application to start in fullscreen mode.

I figured out that this is an error in Java JDK 8u25. I have now updated to Java JDK 8u40, and this solves the problem. Also, I have tested the fullscreen focus on Windows and Linux, and there it also works. So if you are having the same problem, just update your JDK.
