The version of libimobiledevice that ships with Ubuntu 14.04 is outdated. The handshake protocol (the way the software running on your computer authenticates with the iPhone or iPad) has changed in the latest couple of version of libimobiledevice and you need a new version of libimobiledevice.
Your best bet is to compile and install the following software from source:
libplist
libusbmuxd
usbmuxd
libimobiledevice
For each of the repositories, you'll need to git clone the repository, run ./autogen.sh, make and then sudo make install
If you don't want to compile from source, and upgrading to Ubuntu 16.04 is an option, we maintain an Ubuntu PPA with up-to-date and precompiled versions of libimobiledevice at https://launchpad.net/~quamotion/+archive/ubuntu/ppa.

Error occurred while installing "libpng12-dev"
Exiting from script...
I have been trying to install it separeted but im failing, so like this i canĀ“t move on, please help me.....
Be aware that Ubuntu 16.x is not supported by Ephesoft:
http://wiki.ephesoft.com/linux-4-x-release
You can update the installer script but I won't recommend it. I'll just switch to a supported Linux OS.
Ben
I had the same problem while I was trying to install Ephesoft community software on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. I tried all the things that you have metioned MGM. Finally I found out that ephesoft currently does not support 16.04 LTS and only works for ubuntu 14.04 LTS and 14.10 as they have mentioned on their website. They may release an update for 16.04 LTS in 2018. I am sorry I don't have the url where I read that as of now.
I installed ubuntu 14.04 currently and it installs perfectly there. There is very less help on using this software's community version though.
I download from tokumx website newest version. When I start mongod I have an error,
bash: ./mongod: cannot execute binary file
Any solution.
The only version available directly from the website is for linux, you'll need to contact them to get an OSX build.
The TokuMX Community Edition downloads featured on the Tokutek site are currently 64-bit Linux only. The system requirements also note that only 64-bit Linux is officially supported.
However, for OS X users there is a Homebrew TAP package available if you want to install binaries for development purposes.
Assuming you have have Homebrew installed, you should be able to install the tokumx-bin package by running the following from your shell prompt:
brew tap tokutek/tokumx
brew install tokumx-bin
Notes:
the package install will fail unless you enter some text when prompted for an email address (though any text including the default "email address" seems to work)
the tokumx-bin package conflicts with the mongodb package as both use the same names for binaries
TokuMX binaries and data files are not interchangeable with MongoDB
When trying to install DataStax Enterprise from the yum repository, cqlsh won't actually install because it depends on python 2.6 while RHEL/CentOS now ships with python 2.7 and removed 2.6.
It seems it should also be able to accept python 2.7, as far as I know, it is compatible. I just used the CentOS 7 system python 2.7 to install pip and then pip install cqlsh and it all seems to be good.
Hm... yes, that's tricky. The target path for site files is in the package, so one would need different packages for different versions of python (I believe). I filed a ticket, we will look into this.
I am trying to install opencv , gstreamer onto ubuntu server but as ubuntu server edition differs considerable from desktop edition there are lots of libraries which are not installed on fresh copy of server edition so I am facing various dependency problems with it.
Do anyone know the systematic and step by step guide for this ?
apt-get install will also pull the required dependencies.
I have downloaded the latest version 6.1.1 from the windows installer for 32bit. I have a problem with the installation. The installer checks for software requierements are fulfilled. Out of 4 programs it installs i.e. msys, java, postgre and CsvnEdge, csvnEdge is marked as not installed. Tough in system i can see it is installed. If I cancel the setup and start again, it fails again to find CsvnEdge.
