TFS endpoint services to external web service - tfs

I'm using TFS 2015 Update 3 with no internet access.
I'm trying to create a service endpoint for an external web service on the internet. I can add the url with auth but of course it will not work. Can I use endpoint with a proxy (I have a proxy server in my org)?
Thanks.

The proxy of course should be work, the problem for TFS server is no internet access. So you just need to configure the TFS server to access internet via the proxy server.

How to get URL of OData service from SAP Gateway for connecting it with Web IDE Personal Edition?

I'm trying to connect SAP Web IDE Personal Edition" (local Web IDE) following this tutorial:
https://help.sap.com/viewer/825270ffffe74d9f988a0f0066ad59f0/CF/en-US/2cf47f37e34c428c97a51057733c0394.html
But no connection happens. I guess the problem is in the host URL and the port. How can I get the URL? I tried using S4HANA URL but it didn't work. Also tried Fiori URL didn't work either.
How to get the Gateway URL and port?
If you have an on-premise system, then call /N/IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE, choose your service, click on Gateway Client, set the protocol to HTTPS and you'll see the full URL. If you don't then HTTPS isn't configured for your system --> call SMICM, Goto (from menu), Services and check the Host and Port columns in HTTP row. That's your host and port.

Issue accessing the TFS server though the web

I have TFS 2010 set up on TESTServer.
If I am on the server (logged in as administrator) I can access the web portal for TFS using the following
http://TESTServer:8080/tfs/web/
but when I am on my own computer still in the same network, when I try the same URL, I get challenged for a username and password. Even when I enter the administrator details, it does not accept them.
Also I tried the following
http://TESTServer:8080/services/v1.0/ServerStatus.asmx?op=CheckAuthentication
Which says the resource can not be found
* update***
I got it to work with the IP address... but if I ping the name it gets the correct IP address??
Any ideas?
Thanks
Since you cannot connect to http://TFSSERVER:8080/services/v1.0/ServerStatus.asmx?op=CheckAuthentication it could be that you have incorrect proxy settings in your organization. Could it be the proxy settings have changed?
Have you checked your host file for any entries regarding your TFS server?
Can you open a telnet session to port 8080 on your TFS Server?

team foundation server 2010 admin console issue

when I go to application tier, configure installed features ,start wizard,
it will ask whether I would like to have sharepoint on this machine or not, I go for it and the error displays is:
TF400081: Cannot connect to the Internet. An Internet connection is needed to be able to install SharePoint.
We are using a proxy on the network to access the internet, when I look in the log it says:
Exception Message: The remote server returned an error: (407) Proxy Authentication Required. (type WebException)Status: ProtocolError
Response Status Code: ProxyAuthenticationRequired
how can I run the standard configuration wizard do that it gets authenticated by the proxy?
This is because it's trying to download all the prerequisites for sharepoint. It may just be easier to do an offline install by manually installing the prereqs yourself.

There is two ways:
1. switch off require authentication for your server on proxy
install your own intermediate proxy (Proxomitron.info for example) on you work computer and make TFS server to connect to you proxy instead of corporate.
And configure an intermediate proxy to bypass all connection without authentication.

Connect TFS over Citrix

I have to do synchronization task between multiple instance of TFS. However, the right-hand-side TFServer is inside Citrix.
Can I connect to TFSerer inside Citrix from outside Ctrix?
Only if the TFS server inside Citrix is exposed through some other way (public URL or TFS Web Access Server, VPN connection), I see no way to connect your Local Team Explorer to the TFS server inside Citrix

How do I allow a remote user to access my local TFS server?

I'm new to Microsoft TFS and it seems like the default of TFS is connect via a Local Area Network (LAN).
Another team member lives in a different part of the world. How can I allow him to connect to my TFS Server, which is installed on a Vista Machine so we can share the same project?
You can either open up port 8080, or install SSL for TFS. You can find more information how to access TFS remotely at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb668967.aspx. It is an article for TFS 2005, but it still applies.
Simplest is to set up a VPN, let the user log onto your network and then access the TFS server as you would locally. This is the way I do it; saves the hassle and security headaches of trying to expose TFS over the internet.
