Update ios11.1 with Xcode 9 and iPhone 7 - ios

I was testing my application on my iPhone 7 with Xcode9beta6. All was ok when I got an iOS 11.1 update on my iPhone. Now, when I run my project, I have this message :
I tried with the last Xcode9 version too but still this message.
Any idea ?

I ran into this yesterday. The issue was I had upgraded to iOS 11.1 Beta on my device (iPhone 6S) but I was using the production version (non beta) of Xcode 9. This version of xCode 9 does not support iOS 11.1 Beta.
I had two options - upgrade my xCode 9 to the latest beta version or go to the backup of my iPhone and restore iOS 11.0.1.
I restored to iOS 11.0.1 successfully and now XCode works fine with the iPhone.
Hope that helps

11.1 iOS Beta version not supported by XCode 9 upgrade your XCode 9.1

I also faced same issue. It is because of iOS 11.1 upgrade Since Xcode 9 doest support iOS 11.1 Beta issue has been raised.Only options is either restore to older version or else test with another device which is compatible with Xcode9

I tried to run my app on my device in Xcode and I got this error -
This iPhone 8 Plus ... is running iOS 11.4.1 (15G77), which may not be supported by this version of Xcode
I have macOS 10.12.6 and Xcode 9.1 and Xcode 9.2 but I get the error on both versions.
How can I still run the app on my device, should I downgrade the IOS or there is another way ?
You can download device support files if you don't want to change your Xcode right now from here
And then put at a location.
/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport/
But ideally, Xcode update should be done so that you will be on latest track.
You have to use at least Xcode 9.4 for iOS 11.4.1 devices.
Download and install the latest Xcode to work with iOS 11.4 device.

iPhone 5s not working for iOS development with iOS 11.0.2

I am working on a camera app in Swift. Because it is a camera app I have to use the iPhone to run versions of the software. I recently upgraded to iOS 11.0.2 on the iPhone 5s. Now when I try to run the app on the phone I get the following message "This iPhone 5s (Model A1453, A1533) is running iOS 11.0.2 (15A421), which may not be supported by this version of Xcode." and the software will not load. Is there a way around this?
You should update your Xcode to Xcode 9. Xcode 8 will not compile for iOS 11.
Update your xcode to xcode 9. This issue is because of the mismatch version of xcode and your device. To run the app on IOS 11 you must have xcode 9.
Install the xcode 9 because the iOS 11 is only supported run using xcode 9. The previous xcode couldn't run in iOS 11
Please make sure your app is 64bit. Also check https://developer.apple.com/news/?id=06282017b

Compatibility for Xcode 7, iOS 8, MacSierra and old iOS 6 and 7?

I am currently on EL Capitan. I wish to clear few doubts before deciding to upgrade to Sierra.
Can Xcode 7 run on Sierra?
Can iOS simulator run on Sierra ?
Can Xcode 7 in Sierra build and test with iOS 6 and iOS 7 actual devices? As my app is still supporting them. As i know, Xcode 8 can no longer build and run on ios 6.
Thanks!
Yes xcode 7 will work on Sierra, and all simulators will work. But the problem is that you cannot run real devices with version 10.0 or greater. Also you cannot upload a build to Appstore using sierra+xcode 7. For that u need xcode 8.
Hope this is helpful.

This iPhone 6 is running iOS 10.1 (14B55c), which may not be supported by this version of Xcode

I'm trying to run the app after I updated Xcode to v8 and iOS to v10, but this error message pops up & prevents me from doing so:
This iPhone 6 is running iOS 10.1 (14B55c), which may not be supported
by this version of Xcode.
What should I do to get rid of this?
To use the iOS 10.1 beta you need to use the Xcode 8.1 beta. Xcode 8 doesn't support the iOS 10.1 beta.
And now since iOS 10.1 and Xcode 8.1 are out of beta, be sure you update to the latest, non-beta of both.
Update Xcode 8.1 is now available on the app store, so you should just update your Xcode to the latest: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/xcode/id497799835?mt=12
It looks like iOS 10.1 was released today, but not Xcode 8.1. If you upgraded your devices to 10.1, you'll need to download the Xcode 8.1 GM Seed in order to deploy to your devices running iOS 10.1.
You can download the 8.1 GM Seed here: https://developer.apple.com/download/
GM Seed's are typically the final version that gets released to the app store.
The public Xcode 8 release does not support iOS 10.1 beta. Apple released beta builds of macOS Sierra 10.12.1 and iOS 10.1 a few days ago. But watchOS, tvOS and Xcode are not included in Apple's public betas.
You need Xcode 8.1 GM to use your 10.1 device. BUT it's really absurd to release a new iOS version without releasing the respective Xcode version. Something really weird.
First: ios sdk download here 10.1
Second: Copy files to: Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport/
Third: Restart your Xcode

Can I debug my app on iOS 7 from Xcode 7?

Can I debug my app on iOS 7 from Xcode 7?
From what I can tell Xcode 7 just ignores any plugged in devices with iOS 7 installed. Is this just a fluke or is this a permanent change to Xcode?
(Using: Xcode 7 beta 6, iPhone 4S iOS 7.1)
The BAD news is that you can't test your app on iOS 7 simulators. At least not with Xcode 7.3.1. If you are using previous Xcode beta then you should check this answer.
The GOOD news is that you can test it on real device running iOS 7. I tested mine with Xcode 7.3.1 on iPhone 4 running iOS 7.1.2.
UPDATE:
The only way I have found so far to test your app on iOS 7 simulators is by installing OS X 10.10 Yosemite and using Xcode 6 (tested with OS X 10.10.5 and Xcode 6.4) side by side with Xcode 7.
UPDATE: Xcode version updated to 7.3.1.
The Xcode 7 beta does not support iOS 7.
It's not necessarily a permanent change, but the general way that the beta works.
Once Xcode 7 is released, the earlier runtimes may be supported, and you will be able to test on devices that are running older releases.
