Could not download iOS 8.1 Simulator - ios

When I use Xcode 9.0 download Simulator (Xcode - Preferences - Components - Simulator), It will show "Could not download and install iOS 8.1 Simulator. The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be “devimages.apple.com.edgekey.net” which could put your confidential information at risk."
More detail problem
I found that I can download the simulator for iOS10.0 and above, but I can not download the simulator below iOS 10.0.
As you can see:
When I click to download the simulator above iOS 10.0, it's work.
But when I download an emulator below the iOS 10.0 version, it will display a warning.
I have tried this solution:
Copy the download address of the .dmg suffix(https://devimages.apple.com.edgekey.net/downloads/xcode/simulators/com.apple.pkg.iPhoneSimulatorSDK9_2-9.2.1.1451951473.dmg from #Mesut GÜNEŞ answer) and open it in the Safari browser.
The browser will displays a warning show that the server certificate is invalid and automatically disables the continued access to the URL.
Click "visit the site" and now i can download the simulator installation package on the browser.
After the installation package is downloaded, drag the installation package to the cache. directory(/Users/Andy/Library/Caches/com.apple.dt.Xcode/Downloads)
Open Xcode-Preferences to download and install the Simulator.
So it just put the installation package into the cache directory in advance, in order to download faster. But the problem is that this warning window prevents me from starting the download. Even if I downloaded the installation package, but I still can't install it.

I actually found another way, if you're fine with updating your certificate trust settings. Browse to https://devimages.apple.com.edgekey.net/downloads/xcode/simulators in Safari. You'll see this:
If you click on "visit this website", then it will prompt you for admin credentials to update your certificate trust settings. After doing that, the download links work in Xcode like normal.

Seems like network issue, you can check the log and download the related .dmg file via browser. See the log:
sudo /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/MacOS/Xcode

move the downloaded .dmg file to com.apple.dt.Xcode/Downloads directory. To do this open ~/Library/Caches in finder and show com.apple.dt.Xcode and go to Downloads.
Note: com.apple.dt.Xcode isn’t a true “directory”. It's a package. But we can still access it’s contents by right clicking on the file and clicking “Show Package Contents”
Open Xcode->Preferences->Component and click related simulator to continue installation with downloaded file
Optional: Restart Xcode if it still gives error of private connection & do step 3.

I had same issue few months back, and the problem was with my Network (in my case, access to various sites were blocked in office).
I switched to another network and download necessary simulators. (My colleagues also had the same issue and above solution works)
Try to change your network and make sure that you are not connected with any proxy server.
Hope this will help you out.

Network Extension capability missing in dev portal

I have two problems when compiling and installing an application on my iOS device.
Below are the details of the situation I find myself in.
I have an education licence (I work for a University); I log in to my developer.apple.com account, create my developer certificate, create an identity with the necessary capabilities, add the devices I need, and make a profile with all this information.
If I log in from Xcode (14 beta 6) and try to retrieve the profile automatically, I get this error: "The data couldn't be read because it is missing", and below the Try Again button, another error says: No profile for my.app.id was found. Unchecking "Automatically manage signing" and downloading the profile file from the developer portal, everything works: the code is compiled and signed, and a simple hello world app is correctly installed on my iPhone. So there is some problem downloading profiles from the developer portal. Why is this happening?
Apart from this problem (which can be overcome in some way), I cannot install the Wireguard app on my device from its source (https://github.com/WireGuard/wireguard-apple).
If I use the simulator as a target, the code compiles correctly, and the app is installed on the simulator.
However, when I try to install the app on my device, after manually loading the profile, I get that the Wireguard app does not compile because a capability is missing. More precisely, the errors are as follows:
Provisioning profile "myapp" doesn't support the Network Extensions capability
Provisioning profile "myapp" doesn't include the com.apple.developer.networking.networkextension entitlement
The developer.apple.com portal does not have the Network Extension capability, so I don't know how to add it.
I have tried removing the Network Extension capability from the app configuration and using the Private VPN capability instead. The result is that the app is compiled and installed correctly, but when I try opening the vpn, the following logs come out:
2022-09-07 17:21:50.072024+0200 WireGuard[35390:2672224] [] Failed to save configuration docks-2: Error Domain=NEConfigurationErrorDomain Code=10 "permission denied" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=permission denied}
2022-09-07 17:21:50.072167+0200 WireGuard[35390:2671981] [] Failed to save configuration: Error Domain=NEVPNErrorDomain Code=5 "permission denied" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=permission denied}
2022-09-07 17:21:50.072783+0200 WireGuard[35390:2671981] Add: Saving configuration failed: Error Domain=NEVPNErrorDomain Code=5 "permission denied" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=permission denied}
I assume that these logs are due to the lack of the Network Extension capability that Wireguard is using.
Is the lack of this capability on the portal due to the education licence? Or is there an alternative way to solve this problem?
Thank you

iOS Fastlane build failed while uploading the ipa file to Testflight

I use Fastlane to push a build to the App Store. Xcode installed version on my mac is 12.0 . Fastlane version installed is 2.166.0. And I am running this on a fairly good internet connection. What might be the issue here?

If so, you need to create an app-specific password and use instead.

Swift - The certificate for this server is invalid

How can I fix this on iOS using Swift? When I'm making a server request I get the following error:
The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be “...” which could put your confidential information at risk.
You just need to install the certificates on the iOS simulators
From Charles Documentation:
Quit your iOS Simulator. Launch Charles and go to the Help menu.
Choose the "SSL Proxying > Install Charles Root Certificate in iOS
Simulators" item. This will install your Charles Root Certificate into
all of your iOS Simulators. Now when you start the iOS Simulator, you
should be able to access SSL websites with Charles using SSL Proxyin
You are most probably trying to connect to server with self-signed ssl certificate. iOS does not like it.
Take a look at this post as an example: Swift SSL error with self signed certificate.
Other possible issue is a proxy configuration with something like Charles behind it.
More details will maybe help to identify the root of the issue...

Enterprise build is not installing via server but can be installed by dropbox

I am trying to install enterprise app from my server but it is not installing , safari gives error "cannot connect to ", however when i look into device console it says "Could not load download manifest with underlying error: Error Domain=SSErrorDomain Code=2 "Cannot connect to iTunes Store"" , I tried a lot most of available solution but can't find proper solution .
Also when i upload same files (plist and ipa) to dropbox and tried to install via dropbox , app is successfully getting installed .
Please help , what could be problem ,while loading from server .
Exactly. You need HTTPS connection with SSL certificate. Better you go with dropbox or in easiest way go with DIAWI. Just upload app with profile and share your link.

Cant install other SDK versions

I have the BlackBerry 7.0 SDK installed with Eclipse and that's all working. However, that means i can only develop appliations for devices running OS7 and i would like to be able to support lower operating system versions such as OS5. However, when trying to add more SDKs to my installation, the following error message appears:
An error occurred while collecting items to be installed session context was:
(profile=SDKProfile, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Collect,
operand=, action=). Unable to read repository at
http://downloads.blackberry.com/upr/developers/Win/net.rim.ejde.componentpack6.0.0_6.0.0.43.jar.
Read timed out
Please help me to solve the problem.
The error says "Read timed out" which indicates that your connection timed out and Eclipse wasn't able to download the SDK.
Can you browse directly to http://downloads.blackberry.com/upr/developers/Win/net.rim.ejde.componentpack6.0.0_6.0.0.43.jar ?
You can download the JAR file and then load it in Eclipse.
