iCarousel "cards" disappear when NSLayoutConstraint is applied - ios

I am currently working with iCarousel

I am facing problems with the following code:

Is there a problem iCarousel and NSLayoutConstraint? I am trying to put more information on the "cards" such as label object and image object. But since I am not using storyboard and do everything programmatically. Been looking for online tutorial on this but no luck :(
Cards will show up correctly if no constraints are applied. But i need the constraints eventually since I am thinking of adding more subviews such as UILabel and such.

Need to add Label on UIView programatically based on some conditions using swift

I am working on a canvas view where I am trying to add image to a UIView and a text to a UIView, on satisfying some conditions.
The issue is, I am not able to add label to my UIView after satisfying the required condition. I tried this code separately without any functions and conditions and it is working fine. But if I try and run it as given below it doesn't show me the label on the UIView.
[Note- The code here is working fine for imageView.]
I tried various constraint combinations like, centerX, centerY, width, height or leading, trailing, top, bottom. But nothing is working. Please help.

how to set size of a scrollview to same size of a view

I have a view and inside the view there is a scrollview. I setup the scrollview programmatically. But for some reason the scrollview fits not perfectly in the view. The scrollview has the same frame as the view. But for some reason it is not working.
The white view is the view where the scrollview is in it.
The scrollview is the green view. I set the background color to green.
In the scrollview there is an image view.

I changed the frame and added constraints to the scrollview. Now it look like this. The images is not resizing (this image is the blue drawing)
I would recommend you to use constrains:

Remember, your greyview should have hight defined either statically or via. components inside.
though , what you were missing was defining a width. I have done it using widthAnchor. (assuming you need a vertical scroll)
This is probably because your greyview doesnt have its bottomAnchor. It needs the top and bottom anchors in order to work properly inside the scrollView:

Add a widthAnchor, here I centered it in the scroll view but it is up to you to place it how you want it. Also if you add more items just make sure the bottom-most item has a bottomAnchor attached to the scrollView bottomAnchor or it will not scroll.
Update:
I don't know how you want your greyview to look, but if you make the height taller than the contentSize of the scrollView it will scroll, and make sure you have the bottomAnchor:

Copy of UiView and all subviews..Copied UIButton cannot be pressed

Essentially I am using this code extension below to copy a view and all its subviews. The copy is successful and I am able to view the copied view. However, the button on each copied view cannot be pressed. The button can only be pressed within the first original (not copied) view.
How to get all copied buttons to be active? Is this even possible?
I have already tried .isUserInteractionEnabled on the button and its parent view.

This happens only when I press the button on the non copied view.
Since this is all done in viewDidLoad, I assume that the view you want to copy is the same every time.
Your code does not work likely because NSKeyedArchiver does not archive the button's target and selector pairs.
You can create a method that gives a new UIView instead:

safeAreaLayoutGuide to my inputAccesoryView

So with the new iPhone X, some things in my app are in the wrong position. In the bottom of my app, i have an accesoryView, which is basically an UIView with a textfield and other elements. I saw something about safeAreaLayoutGuide in the new iPhone X, but i do not now how to implement in the accessoryView. So i'm trying to find a code to implement it in my app, so the safeArea does not bother me anymore.

Just what I thought, all you need to do is accessing safeAreaLayoutGuide class before pointing out the constraint. In your case, you need to change constraints like these:
self.inputTextField.centerYAnchor.constraint(equalTo: containerView.centerYAnchor).isActive = true
Into constraint like these:
self.inputTextField.centerYAnchor.constraint(equalTo: containerView.safeAreaLayoutGuide.centerYAnchor).isActive = true

now your view is up safeAreaLayoutGuide...but at the bottom you can see the tableview because there is no background (your view is up safeAreaLayoutGuide), for correct the problem I built a white uiview, presented it in inputTextField and set the constraint:

dummyView.translatesAutoresizingMaskIntoConstraints = false
Now set the constraint:
inputTextField.addSubview(dummyView)
dummyView.topAnchor.constraint(equalTo: inputTextField.bottomAnchor).isActive = true
dummyView.leftAnchor.constraint(equalTo: leftAnchor).isActive = true
dummyView.rightAnchor.constraint(equalTo: rightAnchor).isActive = true
dummyView.heightAnchor.constraint(equalToConstant: 50).isActive = true
This is the hack, but I think that's Xcode bug... I hope this help you...
I hope that for your code you simply add this bottom constraint for inputTextField and in other elements is needed, and set containerView CGRect frame height to 100:
self.inputTextField.bottomAnchor.constraint(equalTo: containerView.safeAreaLayoutGuide.bottomAnchor).isActive = true
and I suppose that you can delete:
self.inputTextField.centerYAnchor.constraint(equalTo: containerView.centerYAnchor).isActive = true
