I am learning react native. When I create react native project, it automatically create a splash or launcher screen in IOS project. My requirement is, I don't want splash or launcher screen. In android, it is possible, but in case of IOS, I am not able to remove the default screen. Please help.
Thanks in advance.
Yes, it's possible. Go to iOS project settings and change there. Check App Icons and Launch Images section. If you want to add an image as launch screen change Launch Images Source. Or else if you have more functionality on launch screen then build custom UI using LaunchScreen.Xib

I am developing an iOS app using Ionic. I have a problem with the splash screen which I'm trying to resolve either from the native side via Xcode or from the Ionic side.
I used cordova-res ios --skip-config --copy to generate and set the images and made sure they are there in Xcode.
When the app launches, the splash screen consists of first a native image displayed by iOS then an "identical" copy of it by Capacitor while the app loads. However, the second screen appears smaller.
How can I make the two sizes match? I wouldn't care if the solution scales the image up or down, as long as they become the same size.
I am comfortable with Ionic but not comfortable with Xcode or Swift, so please be as clear as you possibly can if the solution is on the Xcode side :).

I have an app I'm about to launch to the Appstore, however, when I created an archive of my app in Xcode (developed in PhoneGap), it automatically compiled asset catalogs for icons and splash screens, and set the launch screen image to MainViewController in the settings. Because of that, my app takes a few seconds to launch after I tap the app icon on my phone and it doesn't show the splash screen (which worked perfectly when Launch Screen File was empty). Now, when I remove the Launch Screen File, my app launches quickly and normally, shows the splash screen, but now my app appears completely zoomed in.
How can I fix this? It's really annoying.
EDIT: Someone suggested an edit saying this has nothing to with Cordova. But it might. This app was built using Cordova CLI. When it was freshly built, no launch screen file was selected, but the app did't zoom in as it does now, when no launch screen file is selected. How can Cordova make an app appear normal without a selected launch screen file, but does it not work after archiving?
I've created an app for ios using kivy. I was able to add a launch image, but when the app starts the launch image appears for one second, then the screen becomes blank for a couple of more seconds and then the app starts. Is there any way to keep the launch image until the app starts? Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Babak
Kivy provides a way fix for iOS apps here:
Launch Images are supported. By default, XCode want you to build an Image Sets. This is your responsability to fill all the images needed for the Sets, depending of your target. However, Kivy use SDL, and as soon as the application starts the SDL main, the launch image will disapear. To prevent that, you need to have 2 files named Default.png and Default-Landscape.png, and put them in the Resources folder in Xcode (not in your application folder)
I've been looking at several BlackBerry forums but wasn't able to find any reference if this is possible or not.
You can try one of following:
Blackberry - Loading/Wait screen with animation
loading-class-for-blackberry
BB Splash Screen
You would have to create an app that would run a loading screen while it installed the final target app, AFAIK
