I have a nice gauge that displays a percentage value like so:

But now I need two values:
I'd have expected to add some stacking option somewhere, along with something like:

but it doesn't work. And I haven't found any example for this use-case over the internet either. :(
How can I achieve this?
There is no stacking option for soliidgague. You need to count expected values by yourself to achieve the effect from provided image:

As #magdalena said, unfortunately there is no stacking option in a solidgauge chart :(

I am currently laying out a page that uses multiple charts and I can't seem to remove the wasted space from a Highcharts Solid Gauge. I am only using 50% of the chart from range -90 to 90 yet the pane size is for 100% of the arc drawn. How can I reuduce the wasted space?

User ppotaczek mentioned a way to resize the chart using another function. This helped me look in the right direction in adding the height to the chart settings. This sizes the chart how I needed and did not require a redraw.

As mentioned in the comment above, you should use height option for the chart. Also, you can use center and size properties to optimize the space occupied by the chart.

I'm trying to create a Spider graph that has the y-axes labels offset with extended gridlines.
Is this possible to achieve with just one graph, or do I have to create two separate graphs and overlay them? I've tried ticklines, gridlines, and they all get stuck in the polar coordinates.

I want to remove the white space at the top of the highchart, and move the chart to the top of the page and even with the legend on the right hand side.

There are several key items that govern the placement of elements in this kind of chart.
plotOptions.pie.center should be ['50%', '47%']
pane.center should be ['50%', '47%']
Adjust the second number (the y value) to nudge it a little higher or lower.
Then change your title/subtitle locations like this:
