I'm very simply trying to add a user to the device given the security name, auth key, auth protocol, priv key, and priv protocol using VB.net. At this point, NOT using VB.net is not an option.
SNMPSharpNet does not seem to have a solution for this problem. Open to all and any alternatives. If I would know what OID's to store these values in then I would be all set, so that would be extremely helpful as well. Also open to using the PowerSNMP library.
The answer is to set usmUserStatus + index of new user equal to 4 (CREATE_AND_WAIT) and then set usmUserCloneFrom to usmSecurityName + index of user you want to clone from.

I created two separate content types: "Clients" and "Injuries".
In "Clients" each record/node has a client_id (autoincrement by module Serial). In "Injuries" there is a field client which refers to client_id.
I created a (block) View for Injuries, with a contextual filter "Content: Client" so that I can filter out all the injuries of a specific client (for example: client_id = 3), just by typing the URI: /injuries/3.
Now I'm trying to create a link on the Client's page, which dynamically uses the client_id of that client. I tried the module "Linkit" and "D8 Editor Advanced Link".
Is there a way to get the client_id value of the node and use it in the URI?
I also try to make the link in a table view. Unlike the "edit-link" and the "view-link" which are in core, there's no way to customize the path in there.
Can anyone help pointing me in the right direction? Can I make it with the UI of Drupal 8 or do I have to dive into code?
You can create a token based field for your client content type using field_token_value module.
You create this field as usual and in the settings field value should be something like this
see all injuries
where [node:field_client_id] would be replaced with the appropriate client_id each time.
NOTE: There is also a link on the settings page that you can also display all available tokens
I have a User domain and several other domains having userId .
How can I clear them all while deleting user? Without manually finding it one by one in other domains and removing it.
You need to make sure you have defined the right cascade and ownerships for your domain classes and then grails will do this for you.
I think the entry in official documentation about cascade describes your issue exactly, check it: http://docs.grails.org/3.2.1/ref/Database%20Mapping/cascade.html
You can do that without full reference(so it should be instead of Long userId be User user that delete it)
But if you are looking for a hack, so you can get all domains and filter they by field userId, then find all by current userId and remove they.
Take a look on grailsDomainClassMappingContext, PersistentEntity, PersistentProperty
I have a User's information which I have stored in a Hash. I have his permission information stored in a Set.
I want to test for a condition on the Set, retrieve the Key and then fetch the actual Value using the retrieved Key from the Hash.
How can I do this?
Do I have to use Lua scripting to achieve the above goal or is there any other way?
You'll have to do it using multiple requests in that case. While Lua appears to be the way, your requirements - namely fetch a key based on the value of another key - rule out a single script since key names should be passed explicitly.
I had the same requirement and I couldn't find any other way to do this. Redis pipeline and transaction functions are other tools to execute multiple commands in single step but for your situation where you want to get a value and execute a command based on it, the only way remains is LUA!!
you can use a hash to handle user information and his permissions (in the same hash). In this case, when you have a userId you can retrieve the permissions with one shot by using userId and permissionKey. See example below, I put the permissions as string (in your case put it as Set):
redis> HSET userId permissionKey "perm1, perm2, perm3"
redis> HGET userId permissionKey
"perm1, perm2, perm3"
Hope this help you.
I'm trying to set the Visitor ID in Adobe Analytics through DTM.
Above the s_code I have:
var visitor = new Visitor("xxxx")
visitor.trackingServer = "xxx.xx.xx.omtrdc.net"
I've created a data element where the legacy code used to call the
Visitor.getInstance("xxxx");
and set the Visitor ID to %Visitor ID%
That's not working however, and my visitor ID is always just set to %Visitor ID% and obviously not reading any values. I'd really appreciate any input that someone can give me.
Thanks,
Mike
The Visitor ID pops s.visitorID and is in general related to visitor id, but is not the same as s.visitor which is what gets popped for the VisitorAPI integration. DTM does not currently have a built-in field for the s.visitor variable, so you will have to set it yourself within the config, either in the Library Management code editor (assuming you are opting to c/p the core lib and not the "Managed by Adobe" option) or else in the Custom Page Code section.
Since you are popping it in a data layer first, you can reference the data layer like this:
s.visitor = _satellite.getVar('Visitor ID');
NOTE: A separate potential issue you may have is with whether or not the Visitor object is available for your data element. Since data elements are the first thing to be evaluated by DTM, you will need to ensure that the VisitorAPI.js library is output before your top page DTM script include.
If this is a problem for you, or if you are wanting to host VisitorAPI.js within DTM, then you may need to adjust where you are popping that stuff. For example, place the VisitorAPI core code above the custom code as the first stuff within the data element, before:
var visitor = new Visitor("xxxx") visitor.trackingServer = "xxx.xx.xx.omtrdc.net
Or, don't use the data element at all. Instead, put the VisitorAPI code within the Adobe Analytics custom code or core lib section and pop all that stuff (aboove the s.visitor assignment). Or a number of other methods; point is, VisitorAPI stuff must be loaded before the data element can make use of it, same as it must be loaded before Adobe Analytics can make use of it.
So DTM is changing pretty fast and furious right now. They have a "Marketing Cloud Service ID" that works well. Before I used that, however, I did find a way to fix the code. Crayon Violent was right, as usual, that the problem was that the script wasn't available yet. I fixed this by putting the following code in between the VisitorAPI.js and the AppMeasurement stuff in the DTM managed library.
var aA = new AppMeasurement();
aA.visitorNamespace="companyname";
aA.visitor = Visitor.getInstance("companyname");
In addition, there were also some issues using my localhost for testing while trying to see if I had this correct or not. If you are having issues and think you have it correct, it may be worthwhile to elevate it to a different environment.
We ran the Fortify scan and had some Access Control: Database issues. The code is getting the textbox value and setting it to a string variable. In this case, it's passing the value from the TextBox to the stored procedure in a database. Any ideas on how I can get around this Access Control: Database issue?
Without proper access control, the method ExecuteNonQuery() in DataBase.cs
can execute a SQL statement on line 320 that contains an attacker-controlled primary
key, thereby allowing the attacker to access unauthorized records.
Source: Tool.ascx.cs:591 System.Web.UI.WebControls.TextBox.get_Text()
rptItem.FindControl("lblClmInvalidEntry").Visible = false;
ToolDataAccess.UpdateToolData(strSDN, strSSNum, strRANC, strAdvRecDate, strAdvSubDate, strClmRecDate, strClmAuth, strClmSubDate, strAdvAuth, txtNoteEntry.Text);
Sink: DataBase.cs:278
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlParameterCollection.Add()
// Add parameters
foreach (SqlParameter parameter in parameters)
cmd.Parameters.Add(parameter);
The point of "Access Control: Database" is where it isn't being specific enough in the query and so could potentially allow a user to see information that they're not supposed to.
An easy example of this vulnerability would be a payroll database where there is a textbox that says the ID of the employee and gives their salary, this could potentially allow the user to change the ID and see the salary of other employees.
Another example where this is often intended functionality is in a website URL where the product ID is used in a parameter, meaning a user could go through every product you have on your site. But as this only allows users to see information they're supposed to be able to, it's not particularly a security issue.
For instance:
"SELECT account_balance FROM accounts WHERE account_number = " + $input_from_attacker + ";"
// even if we safely build the query above, preventing change to the query structure,
// the attacker can still send someone else's account number, and read Grandma's balance!
As this is pretty context based, it's difficult to determine statically so there are lots of examples where Fortify may catch this but it's actually intended functionality. That's not to say the tool is broken, it's just one of the limitations of static analysis and depending on what your program is supposed to be doing it may or may not be intended.
If this is intended to work like this, then I would suggest auditing it as not an issue or suppressing the issue.
If you can see that this is definitely an issue and users can see information that they shouldn't be able to, then the stored procedure needs to be more specific so that users can only see information they should be able to. However SCA will likely still pick this up in a latter scan so you would still then need to audit it as fixed and no longer an issue.
