I have local html files that my program produce.
How can i open these local html files from command line with MS Edge?
For MS InterbetExplorer I have (working) command like (%f is path to html):
{pathToExplorerExecutable}"file:///%f"
For MS Edge I found executable in C:\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe, but when I try same command, that I use for IE, nothing happens.
I also tried command: start microsoft-edge:file///%f still did not work.
Is there any way to open local file in MS Edge from command line?
In case of Edge Browser it is:

Where is that Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe!MicrosoftEdge value from?
That value is in format [PackageFamilyName]![ApplicationID].
It can be found in the AppManifest.xml of Edge browser or via regitry (if Edge is set as the default webbrowser):
Get default webbrowser from the ProgId value of registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.html\UserChoice
The value will be AppX4hxtad77fbk3jkkeerkrm0ze94wjf3s9 in case of Edge.
Take that ProgId value to open the following key:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\[ProgId]\Application
or
HKEY_USERS\[CurrentUserID]_Classes\[ProgId]\Application
So in case of Edge, open HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppX4hxtad77fbk3jkkeerkrm0ze94wjf3s9\Application.
Read the value of AppUserModelID.

I can't figure out how to copy from vim, and paste to another console tab.
For instance, I'm using the preconfigured nvimdocker / ansible-neovim-pyright container. I did try:
set mouse= I can copy/paste with middle click, but I get the column with line numbers in the clipboard. Makes it unpracticable to copy few lines of script.
set mouse=nv This is great, I can select the text without the line numbers. Potentially right-click->Copy. But none of the * (highlight clipboard) nor + (system clipboard) registers are working. (None of the middle-click or explicit paste will work).
Obviously, it's not possible to access the system clipboard from remote, and xclip cannot help. I think the problem is similar when using a remote nvim through SSH (with no X redirection).
But how could I have the 'highlight' clipboard ? Is there maybe a (n)vim command to temporarily disable the left column with numbers/git/modifs/coc-errors ?

SSIS hangs and I am unable to open the solution. In the lower left corner there is a message "Testing Connectivity". SSIS does not respond to any command, it does not let me access the package or change any setting.
In Windows explorer, Go to the folder with the solution and package that you cannot open
Open the user preferences file , that is the file with the extension .user
Open the file in a text editor and find the setting for OfflineMode
Change the value to true, it should look like this: "OfflineMode > true< / OfflineMode>" (wihtout the spaces)
I used to have postcript printing working perfectly in Emacs 21 in Windows+Cygwin, but after upgrading to Emacs 23, I am receiving the following error in the minibuffer:
Opening output file: invalid argument, C:/PDFCreator:
My current .emacs contain the current relevant statements:

It used to have the following line as well:

But it generates a similar error:

From the Emacs Wiki PrintingFromEmacs, the following configuration is recommended.

You could also use the Ghostscript configuration there and select the PDFCreator printer from the popup. Adjusting your GS_LIB and your ghostscript binary location accordingly.

I had PDFCreator working fine with Emacs, then I made the mistake of letting PDFCreator update itself. It redirected all my search queries to Bing, took over a bunch of browser settings, added toolbars, default landing pages etc. It took me about an hour to clean out all the junk it added.
I had the same symtom as the poster, but it wasn't because of any change in Emacs 23.
My printer is a postscript capable network printer.
First, my hostname had changed sligtly when my work computer was upgraded from Windows to Vista. I had to change one character accordingly:
From

This changed the error message from

Then I had to enable sharing of the printer. This is found in
\\e7f4ce46ac4ad3\Printers
which probably can be found in a more generic way. \\%computername%\Printers didn't work for me; I don't know why.
Right-click on the printer icon, select Sharing and enable Share this printer, with a suitable printer name, preferably with no spaces in it.
This was enough to enable printing for me.

While doing Selection Printing on Ricoh Afficio 2090 or any other drivers/printers get the following error printed on the sheets

Kindly Review and suggest a turn around for the same as i am already stuck in this hell. I have tried to convert/extract in PS but all in vain. I am using gsview to Print and view these files.
This is the problem:
%%PageOrder: Special
A ps document with "Special" page order can NOT be re-ordered. You cannot do a selection or range with this file because it is broken for this use. You must reprocess the file using Distiller or ghostscript (ps2ps or ps2pdf) in order to print selected or re-ordered pages from the document.
You can avoid this by generating your postscript files with a real Postscript™ driver (one not created by Microsoft).

... tells us that the file was generated with HP printers as a target. So this really is not an EPS file. Because it's not Encapsulatable. To generate output on a printer the file has to execute the showpage operator, which is a no-no for EPS files.
So uncheck the EPS box (it's a big fat lie, anyway), and select (install) a Generic Postscript driver. If you need to send it to multiple makes of printer, the file needs to make as few assumptions about the printer as possible.
The first thing is that this is not a valid EPS file, as it has PJL attached at the front. Many PostScript printers will strip this off, but by no means all.
This probably is not the source of the problem.
There is no way to 'review' the problem as you have not supplied the complete PostScript program. Without that there is no way to tell what is actually wrong, the error message tells you that the interpreter encountered 'F4547' while trying to parse a token, and that this has not been defined as a routine.
Most likely the file is corrupt, either damaged in some way, or possibly it is a biinary file and has been transmitted by some process which does has done some kind of conversion (CR/LF is common). The offending command looks like its ASCIIHex encoded, so that may be a red herring.
If you want additional help, you are going to have to make the whole program available somewhere.
I'm just wondering if there is some IDE command line parameter which would open a source file on a specified line (in the current view) ?
I know this is probably too much to publish as a command line parameter, but it would be great for my Assert logging system; I would just create a link (label or something) and through this link open the file on the line where the assertion has happened.
The only thing I found is the registry entry (valid for Delphi 2007)

Following discussion in the comments to the question, it appears that you would be satisfied with writing a small utility to generate a fake .dsk file (desktop file) and possibly a matching fake .dproj file (project file). The .dsk file would contain just enough information to trick the IDE into opening the required file and moving to the desired location within that file.
