I have logged into cobrand and user for my yodlee account and am able to fetch the list of providers. I am not using a server at my end of the app. I am not able to login the user through the Add Account Post Method in the Providers section. I intend to get the Users mutual funds data by logging in the user and displaying the data in my app. Is this realisable as I am unable to figure out the callBack after successful Login. Any help would be appreciated. APIs Yodlee
You need to use POST /providerAccounts API for initiating add account. Please note this API will just initiate add account, and you need to check the status of this process, using GET API; you can use the API flow mentioned here.
You can use Fastlink 2.0 instead of using APIs if you want to quickly integrate add account process.

I'm building an app that shows users people they might be interested in talking to. If a user says he's interested in a person I show them, I want my app to create this person as a contact in my user's SalesforceIQ.
How do I do this? I see from the API documentation https://api.salesforceiq.com/#/ruby#documentation_contacts_create-a-contact that I can create a contact if I know my user's username and password, but of course I don't want my users to give me this information. Is there some way for the user to OAuth or whatnot by clicking a button that authorizes me to add things to their SalesforceIQ?
The SalesforceIQ API uses HTTP Basic authentication and does not currently support OAuth according to their documentation.
For a SalesforceIQ user to grant API access to your app to create contacts and for other privileges, the SalesforceIQ admin creates an API Key and API Secret for your app which is then used for the HTTP Basic authentication username and password. This way no user needs to provide your app with their credentials. This is configured in the SalesforceIQ admin UI under Settings > Integrations > Create New Custom Integration.
For the admin to provide these credentials to your app, you can have a UI where the SalesforceIQ admin enters this for your app to store and use with the API for their account.

In my iOS application i am using paypal, so, when user going through signup process i need to verify his paypal account is vaild or not.
i am using the rest API but didn't see any API related to this.
Still there is no way in REST API's to check the validity of a PayPal account by just providing the email address and name .As of now it can only be done using "GetVerifiedStatus" classic API .

If you want to add twitter login to your app in a simple way, I would recommend you to use Fabric framework. Follow this link: https://dev.twitter.com/fabric/ios
Note: You can't bring user's email easily. You need to get permissions from twitter by filling a form in twitter website or else by sending email to fabric team.

This is the current flow:
user (University Alumni) gets to our site http://alumni.columbia.edu/email
they click on Create My Account
they authenticate through our university WIND system using what we call their UNI
they land on a page mentioning that an email account UNI#caa.columbia.edu is ready to be created. They can pick an alias to UNI. They also need to enter a password to use the Chat and POP-mail features of Gmail.
they confirm the creation of the account. At this point the API is being called using https://www.google.com/a/feeds/, some data (email address, name, id) being saved in our database.
To log in, they come through our site, click on the login button, this will use the SSO and they get logged in.
Based on the flow above, do I need to use OAuth2.0?
Yes, you will need to authenticate with OAuth using the Installed Applications approach to do this. Instead of step 5 the way you currently have it, you'll need to call the API from a process on your server with an account that has (limited) admin credentials that can create the account with the Directory API. To do this, you'll need to persist the OAuth token information that the account will use to connect, and handle the code to refresh the token when it has expired.
The first time you run your code you'll need to manually authenticate that account to get your application the appropriate permissions so that they can be stored.
If you're hoping to not go too crazy with handling the authentication side of things and you're using .Net, I'd recommend checking out my project gShell that acts as a wrapper for the authentication and handles the token storing and refreshing for you. It's still a young project but it should fit your needs. Alternately, feel free to browse the code for an example on what to do.

I am using RPXnow.com authentication solution for a rails app and am now at the point of wanting to develop Facebook integration features using Facebook Connect and the client api. What I am unclear on from RPXnow docs is the level of integration their solution provides. When a user connects via rpx using their FB creds, are they now using Facebook Connect? Can I make calls to the client api from my app? Do I need to use the RPX api to access the FB client APIs?
Anyone with experience using both who can shed light here, much appreciated.

Great question. Facebook Connect is simply a javascript layer built on top of the Facebook Platform APIs. RPX uses the platform APIs to authenticate the user, and after they have signed in, you may safely use the native Facebook Connect javascript to implement FB specific features on your site like posting activity back to the News Feed. You just need to set your connect URL on the facebook developer site and drop in the Facebook Connect javascript and then start implementing. After authenticating via RPX, the user will already have approved and "connected" to your website, and you'll have access to the breadth of Connect directly.
Also, if you have an RPX Plus/Pro account you can make simple RPX API calls to set a user's status and post activity on Facebook (and Twitter/MySpace).

Once you've hooked up RPXNow (JanRain) single sign-on, you can follow the Facebook documentation. The Server-side Personalization example is in PHP but the idea is the same in any language.

The key point to note is that the $cookie['oauth_access_token'] referenced in this example needs to be the string returned by the RPXNow sign-on API response in the JSON field

Initially I thought this would be hampered by having your Base Domain set to rpxnow.com in your Facebook Application settings, but this is not the case. It works fine.
